 [Jadepaw woke up suddenly in the middle of the night and glanced around, the camp quiet. The vole she had picked up earlier started to smell, so she picked herself up and started across the clearing. She peeked into the Nursury to find all the kits curled up together sleeping, some quiet, some kicking others in their sleep. Jadepaw smirked and crept over to the Warrior's den and looked inside. She saw a flash of light inside, and realized that it was the moon reflecting off of a cat's eyes. Jadepaw looked closer and realized who it was.] "Firestorm?! What are you still doing up?" [She mewed quietly.]

  Whisperwing turned in his nest. He was so worried for the clan. He knew most of the other cats were awake as well. The warrior got up, shaking nettles from his fur, and padded over to the middle of the forest. He was so tired. So, so tired. And had an earsplitting headache. But the Warrior refused to believe he was ill. He washed himself thoroughly. He was getting paranoid now. Each and every sound made him jump. Something was so wrong.... But he couldn't tell what. The black and white tom heard noises close by. Maybe someone could tell him.

FireStorm heard Jadepaw's voice. "Oh its you Jadepaw." FireStorm said plainly. He licked IceStorm as if putting a sleep spell on her. He got up quietly and walked out of the den. "I couldnt sleep. what about you?"

[Jadepaw smiled to herself when Firestorm came out to join her and sighed.] "I don't really know what woke me up. Maybe I just want to talk to you." [She laughed quietly, now thoroughly embarrassed by what she had just said.]

[Jadepaw frowned and stared up at the moon.] "I'm not sure. . ." [She froze and then turned to look at Firestorm.] "Remember, how Moonflower was acting at the Gathering. . .because she liked you?" [Firestorm nodded. Jadepaw groaned and started nervously swishing her tail back and forth.] "Well. . .I think. . .I might, like you too?" [Did I word that right? Did I sound like an idiot?? She sighed and stared down at the gorund, waiting for Friestorm to speak.]

 [I sighed. Moonkit had either fallen asleep or remained quiet.
I gently stood up and padded out into the clearing.
There was no way I could sleep now.
I saw Jadepaw and Firestorm talking, but it seemed to important to but in to...
I just sat at the entrance to the nursery and waited for somehting to happened. I stared into the beautiful pelt of Silverpelt. It was marvelous..]

((I'm female...just thought I'd shout it out. >D))
[I heard someone else tossing and turning in their sleep.
Then I saw Whisperwing. He seemed ill, and startled at that. I followed him.]
"Hey, Whisperwing," I murmured.
[My blue eyes sparkled in the moonlight,and my rich black coat shone. I loved being under the moon...]
"You can't sleep either, huh?" I asked with a sigh.

FireStorm thought about what JadePaw had said. "I understand now. but jealousy can become revenge very easily." FireStorm looked up at the stars. "Still you cannot force someone to love you. no matter how much you want them to." FireStorm looked down at his aprentice. "Still, i like you too. though i may not be able to love you the way i love others." FireStorm said.

[Jadepaw nodded, upset and disappointed. She didn't expect Firestorm to like her that way anyways. She was just his apprentice. She curled up on the ground and sighed.] "I understand."

FireStorm licked Jadepaw's ear in comfort. "Hey be glad that i like you anyway." FireStorm said. *my anger is not something anyone would want to see.* He thought.

 "Don't worry about it. now get some rest. tommorow we shall start our training." FireStorm said. He licked her ear one last time before padding back into the warriors den and laying down next to IceStorm.

((ok...this is my last post for the day probably because I'm going to the hospital so bye!!)) [Jadepaw watched longingly still as Friestorm returned to the den, and then got up and started to the place she had fallen asleep under the tree, hoping to get some more sleep.]
