Brooklyn didn't hear what Tala had said and started to set up his new desk. He looked at the clock, counting the seconds until he could see Bryan again.

"What the hell happened?" Kai asked angrilly. "Stop trying to make it sound like you're the one who saved him from deaths jaws. Just tell me what happened!"

"And you know what, Kai? You're acting like you know nothing about him. If you've known him for so bloody long you should probably know what he does when he's upset. And im just assuming that he normally hurts him self when he is upset." He looked over at Kai, "Or did you forget what shape his legs were in yesterday?"

Tala sighed and layed down on his desk. I wish Kai goodluck with dealing with him, he's going to need it.

Kai's eyes widened. "What?" He asked dumbly. "He did that to himself?" He looked away from Bryan, trying to control his features. It wouldn't do for the smug lookinging Russian to see how upset he was.
When he had his features under control again, he looked at Bryan coldly. "You're lying. Brooklyn's never hurt himself before. He's always told me how stupid he thought people who did that are. He wouldn't do that." Kai loooked down at teh desk and said quieter, almost talking to himself, "Would he?"

Bryan kept staring at Kai, his gaze not wavering. "I'm not lying. Why would i lie about something like that?" He sighed. "He was really upset about something. If you don't believe, like you most likely won't," he glared at Kai, "I suggest you go and talk to him yourself." He lowered his voice. "Unless you don't have the guts to."

Kai glared at Bryan for a second before, not seeing any sort of a trace of lie in the others eyes, he stood up. "YOu don't have any sort of right to speak to me like that." He stated flatly before looking at the door of the classroom. "Tell the teacher something. I don't care what." He said distractedly before beginning to walk towards the door. He stopped at the doorway and looked back at Bryan. "If you're lying to me I will kill you. I promise I will. And I keep my promises." He said before disappearing out of the door.
He needed to find Brooklyn.

Brooklyn looked across at Tala, trying not to feel guilty about the strange unprovoked anger jut being around Tala brought on. If Kai hadn't ben in the centre of the conflict Brooklyn would have asked him about it.

Bryan glared back. "I'm so scared," he said flatly to himself. So, it looked like Kai couldn't handle the truth. Either that or he was just disturbed by it. He shrugged and looked up at the teacher who was giving him a look. Must of wanted to know about Kai. "He went that way and he's not comming back," he said blankly, shrugging towards the door.

Tala leaned on his desk, his head resting on the side of hhis arm as he flicked his pen around. Small things amuse small minds, or extremely bored ones. He sighed and looked over at the door. The very blank, uninteresting door that lead to the exciting and interesting outside world of freedom.

Kai walked through the corridors of the school quickly. He knew where Brooklyn was. He was in the same class as Tala. Kai saw the door ahead and forced himself to continue walking. He ould always have waited until lunchtime for this. But that would be smart
Kai burst through the door Tala was so enjoying staring at. He ignored the teachers cry of protest and scanned the room, looking for Brooklyn. He faintly registered Tala's presence but didn't allow himself to think of his redhaired lover. Now wasn't the time.
Brooklyn looked up when the door had be thrown open and was doing a rather impressive impersonation of a fish.
Kai saw Brooklyn and walked over to him, picking him up forcfully by gripping his upper arm. "We need to talk." He said quietly before dragging him out of the room.
Brooklyn winced at how tightly Kai was holding his arm but otherwise complied with whatthe Russian wanted. Kai was scary when he was cranky.
The lft teh room and the door slamme, prompting someon to whisper loudly. "Didn't I hear that Kai was with Tala?"

Tala blinked in confusion as Kai burst through the door and practically dragged Brooklyn out of the room. Well, this made things interesting. Tala snapped his head around to glare at the person who whispered loudly. Bloody gossiping twits, why i ought-...
"Tala!"
He turned his head to look at the teacher. "What?"
"Don't you what me. Go out there and find out what their problem is. I don't appreciate having rnadom people barging into my class-"
"Why do i have to do it?" he cut her off. She gave him a hard look.
"Becuase you aren't doing anything!"
"Oh, well that makes sense," Tala said sarcastically as he slowly got up. Half to annoy his teacher and half to give Kai some time with his plan. Whatever the hell that was.

Kai pushed Brooklyn against the wall outside the classroom, glaring at the orange haired teen. When he saw the genuinely frightened look that Brooklyn had on his face Kai's face softened from really pissed off to his normal angry at the world expression. His grip on the other's arm relaxed. "Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you." He said quietly.
Brooklyn nodded slowly, rubbing his arm. "Why was that about?" He asked angrily. "You don't just pull people out of classrooms like that!"
"You do if you just heard from someone that you did that" Kai gestured to Brooklyn's legs, "To yourself."
"What did Bryan tell you?" Brooklyn asked, looking at Kai angry that he had been prying into his private life. He didn't want Kai to know.
"So it's true then." Kai said numbly, looking at Brooklyn in a different way.
Brooklyn looked down at the floor. "So? It's not like you'd care anyway."
Kai frowned. "Of course I care, idiot." He told Brooklyn. "I'm your best friend. Why wouldn't I care?"
"Because you're not my best friend." Brooklyn said vehemently. "Best friends tell each other what's going on with their lives. They don't lie to each other. They don't-"
"- How the hell was I meant to tell you?" Kai asked. "If I'd told you you'dve freaked out. EXACTLY like you're doing now!"
"You don't know that!" Brooklyn protested.
"Don't I? I know you almost better than I know me!"
"You didn't know that I'd do that, did you?" Brooklyn asked quietly, looking down at his legs. They had begun to hurt again. He was in no danger of falling over but he was forcing his face to remain calm and not show the pain he was in.
"Kai followed Brooklyn's gaze and said quietly. "No... I didn't."
"See? You don't know me as well as you think."
Kai restrained himself from hitting Brooklyn. "I'm willing to bet that you didn't either before you did did you?"
"I-" Brooklyn trailed off.

Tala wandered past the teacher and out the door. He looked down the hallway and chose the way he thought was hopefully in the opposite direction of Kai and Brooklyn. He put his hands in his pockets and walked along slowly, trying not to fall asleep on his feet.

Bryan walked along the wall, silently fuming. He didn't think that his remark was something a smartass would say, but nevertheless he was out here wandering around.
He looked up as he heard other footsteps in the hallway and spotted the red-head.
"Bryan," he said as they passed each other.
"Tala," he said back. He took a few more steps and then turned around. "What are you doing out here. Tala stopped and looked over his shoulder. "What are you doing out here?" Bryan gave him a glare. "Don't get smart with me." Tala shrugged. "I'm taking the long way around to find Kai and Brooklyn."
"Oh," Bryan thought about that. "So that's where Kai went, heh." He smirked.
Tala raised an eyebrow. "Why don't i like that look?"

Kai smiled grimly. "I didn't think so."
Brooklyn looked down at the ground. "Sorry." He said almost too quietly for Kai to hear him.
"For what?" Kai asked, confused.
"For being so stupid and... stuff."
Kai wrinkled his nose. "Brook, you're always stupid." He smirked. "I'm just glad you realised it."
Brooklyn mock glared at his best friend. "So you don't hate me?"
"As long as you don't hate me."
"Deal."

Bryan shrugged but didn't answer. He turned back around and continued to walk. "So, i'm assuming they're up here somewhere since you said you were taking the long way around."
Tala blinked at the other russian, trying to figure out who he was talking about. And then it dawned on him. He jogged to catch up with Bryan.
"Yeah, but there was a reason i was taking the long way around you know."
"And?"
"And, well, this isn't the long way around!"
"Very observant." Bryan continued to walk. Tala let out an exasperated sigh but coninued to follow him. You know, we really don't spend a lot of time in school when we are here.

On impulse, Brooklyn threw his arms and Kai's neck and hugged the Russian. Kai returned the hug with on loose arm, looking around them at the empty coridors in case if anyone saw them.
Brooklyn smiled. "What did Bryan say to make you so cranky that you came to me?" He asked.
"He kept saying that he knew you better than me. What is up with him anyway?" Kai questioned. "Bryan wouldn't tell me."
Brooklyn blushed and stepped away from the hug, looking down. "Bryan is... uh..."

The coninued to walk down the hallway, their foot steps echoing off the wall. "So," Tala started, "Do you know why Kai suddenly burst into the room and kidnapped Brooklyn?"
Bryan shrugged. "Maybe."
Tala narrowed his eyes. "Maybe? What's that supposed to mean? Yes?"
"No, it means maybe."
"But you would have to know."
"Why?"
"'Cos, 'cos...you did that smirk thing back there!"
Bryan looked over his shoulder and raised an eyebrow. "That's the best reason you can come up with?"
Tala huffed, "Yer, well, you're not very easy to figure out y'know."
"Thankyou, and you talk too much."
Tala glared and whispered silently to himself, "And you're and a*****e."
Bryan rolled his eyes at Tala's mumblings.

Brooklyn looked up, noticing two figures approaching them. "Bryan's... here?" He asked, looking at the lavender haired male quizzically. "What're you doing here?" He asked.
Kai's eyes widened and he spun around to see Bryan and-
"...Tala?" Kai asked, frowning at the faintly annoyed face his lover was making at Bryan. "Are you ok?"
