If you had the chance to end the world, how would you end it?

A humongous laser sword would cut the Earth in two.

Is this a mass extinction or a END OF THE WORLD actually?
They're completely different things and from the gist of the plot so far it seems more like a Mass Extinction would happen than a END OF THE WORLD.

( =u= ) Trust me when I say that a mass extinction is just a negative externality of the true goal, although it is not really mass extinction, but I'll save that for the next chapter. Going back to your question, yes -- the end of the world. Needs more ridiculously complicated symbolism.
You can't just end the world. If you end the world it must end ritually and beautifully. There must be some kind of symbols, cosmic symbols like stars, the moon, the planets.
Align the planets dammit! Align them I say!
And have an eclipse!
And a second moon reveal itself for some reason or another!
And have all the stars dim and die out!
You can't end the world without bringing in space!

I've ended planets in my time.
I think I destroyed the first on my 1198th Birthday.
Happy days.
Oh and if the sea doesn't churn. Well. It's no good ending the world without a churning sea and earthquakes.

Well, I'll leave the suggestions up to everyone for a while and I'll check on up later. I'm hoping to see really good and creative ones. You see, the story is not about us, it is more about you and everyone here, as it should be! xd

I hope you're being sarky.
A person with half their brain falling out could come up with suggestions as staple to ending the world as this.
What takes a real genius is to end the world in a genuinely amazing way.
The end of the world is a commonly explored idea however so it's hard to get anything truly original. I'd personally like to see a huge spear stuck in the Earth by the alignment of the Planet's energy. Because, that's what happens when you align planets.
Obviously.
Could you end the entire Solar System?

Were trying to end the world Pad not the entire System. Were would we be then? Maybe we could use a mass hollow explosion. So many hollows we cant stop them. And maybe that giant one eyed thing that throws up hollows.
