Within every illusion, there is reality"  "Well, isn't this just peaches and sunshine! Ichi figuring out how to use the technique on his own, and Kyou helping him do so! You two are such a good team..."It came out sounding sarcastic, but Akeru actually meant all of that. It was great that Ichi was able to figure out a technique that took so much control of one's chakra...then again, the way he moved his sand around, he already must have had really good chakra control. Plus, it was great because it meant Akeru didn't have to waste the time teaching him! "So, Ichi, I think that you are ready for the exams. Well, he combat portion anyway. But if you were smart enough to figure out that technique on your own, I don't think whatever test they have for the exam will be too hard for you. And Kyou, don't get so depressed. It's true that you wouldn't get through the combat portion of the exam as you are now, but that's what I'm here for, isn't it? Now, I know you don't like fighting, but in a mission, we're going to be surrounded by constant danger that could strike from any direction at any moment. Yu have to be able to defend yourself. Ichi isn't the only person in the world with a way to dispell genjutsu, so you won't always be able to hide."Akeru was sure that Kyou had to have some kind of skill in combat. She figured it was just her confidence and lack of a will to fight that made her not show it. "Kyou, if you really want to do well in the exams, then fight me. I won't use genjutsu or weapons; I just need to see where you stand when it comes to combat. Ichi's not going to be able to do it for you at the exams."Akeru lifted her hands, preparing to defend herself from an attack from Kyou. She would go easy on kyou, this was more for gauging her skill and boosting her confidence than anything else. "If you don't fight, then I'll tell kazekage-sama that I recommend you not be allowed to enter the exams. A ninja that isn't prepared to fight is only risking her own life and the lives of her team. So come on."

As Akeru started to talk to Kyou; Ichi looked over at the new boy who he had not met yet. "Nice.... to meet you" Ichi said looking over at Akira. "Do you know.... If you are going to the Chunin exams or not?" He asked still looking over at the new comer. "If so.... do you want to work together, the three of us together, S-should be able to help one another" He said nodding slightly as he looked at the Blue haired boy who had come with Akeru.
Ichi looked over at Akeru, she sounded like she was being sarcastic but for some reason Ichi could tell that she was actually happy; seeing as how she could have been much harsher with her selection of words.

Kyou smiled slightly at Ichi then looked back at Akeru as she spoke up. She couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic or not... she just listened to her as she told her once more how she won't do good in the combat part of the exams as she was now, and she needed to work more. Then she said she wanted her to fight her. S-she couldn't do that! Kyou wouldn't be able to win against Akeru! Not to mention she just didn't want to fight! She was about to say something to her, she even opened her mouth about to speak, but then she threatened that she would convince the Kazekage to not let her in the exams. N-Not go to the exams...? Even after all her hard work...?! Kyou looked down and nodded slightly. "O-Okay..." she said, though she REALLY didn't want to do this.. normaly this is where she would pull out her metal claws, but she just didn't want to hurt Akeru... so she decided to fight without them, and she just knew this was going to end badly... She quickly made a hand sign and dissapeared for a moment, then she released the genjutsu after she already ran at Akeru, closeing the distance between them and clenched her fist, aiming to hit her from behind, though it would be really easy to block if she was noticed.

Can become a great hurricane"  "Me? Well, I suspect I'm going to the exams, but you never know what can happen between now and then. I didn't get to make it to the last one because of...well, reasons beyond my control..."In all truth, AKira didn't have much of a plan for the exams. Of course, it would be nice to become a chunin, but he knew chunin or not, he'd still have much to learn and have to keep on training. He didn't suspect it would change all that much, so he didn't really consider it much. "Yeah, I suppose we could try to help eachother. Though, I didn't go to the last one, so I really don't know what to expect from it."

Within every illusion, there is reality" Akeru could tell that Kyou really didn't want to fight, but she didn't want all the time she had spent training for the exams to be wasted. Akeru was someone that had picked fights with plenty of people, but this time she didn't feel good about it at all. She knew how it felt to work hard for something only to have someone take it from you in the end, and she didn't want that to happen to Kyou. But she needed her to be ready; the exams were no picnic. People could die there, and she wouldn't let that happen. She had to make sure Kyou was prepared, for her own sake. As Kyou ran towards her, Akeru saw that the first thing she did was use her cloaking genjutsu to turn herself invisible. It would usually be a good move, but Akeru couldn't let Kyou depend on that one technique to get her through. Once Kyou stepped into Akeru's chakra network, she could tell where she was, regardles of sight. So as Kyou went to punch from behind, Akeru grabbed the girl's fist. "You'll have to do better than that, Kyou..."Akeru kicked the girl away, though it was more of pushing her back with her foot than an actual kick. It was clear Akeru wasn't going to fight seriously until Kyou showed her something. "Your cloaking technique is a good one, Kyou, but like I said, it won't always help you. You'll have to learn to fight without it."As Kyou looked at Akeru's eyes, she would see them start to change again. But this time they did not enter their swirled state; they formed a black cross over her blue eyes, the tenraigan's crossed state. While this mode was active, Kyou would find herself unable to use her genjutsu while she was within a 30 ft radius of Akeru, making it completely ineffective in a fight. "There is something more important than the techniques you use in battle. You need to have intelligence to find a way past your foe when your normal abilities do not work. You need the willpower to keep fighting, even when things aren't looking good for you. And most importantly, you need the confidence in yourself to keep going until you win. Show me that you have all those, and I'll believe you deserve to go to the chunin exams."

Kyou blinked as Akeru suddenly caught her fist and pushed her back. Kyou stumbled a bit and looked at Akeru as she spoke about how she needs to fight without her cloaking skill. But... WHY?! Kyou had worked so hard on her summoning and cloaking skill, why can't she use them?! She didn't even notice the change in Akeru's eyes, mainly because Kyou never looked anyone in the eyes, she just couldn't get herself to... she listened to her once more as she said how she needed intelligence and she needed to have the will power to keep fighting. But that's just the thing... kyou didn't have that will power, she didn't even have the will power to START fighting. She wasn't strong like Ichi, and she wasn't confident like Akeru. She didn't have anything that you need to fight! She simply had no will power and NO reason to want to fight! "But I don't have that! I don't have a reason to fight, I don't WANT to fight!" Kyou said, actually raising her voice a little. All her hard work seemed like nothing now... she trained her techniques, but she didn't have the force or will power to fight without them, and her frustration for the fact that she pretty much just wasted all that time since Akeru wasn't planning on letting her go to the exams until she did just finally was too much for Kyou, and had caused her to yell. Actually yell, without stuttering or anything. But once she did she instantly shut up. She just looked down and stood there not wanting to continue this fight, and definently not wanting to say anything. She jut heard the same phrase repeated in her head "You jut blew it..."

Within every illusion, there is reality" Akeru sighed as she heard Kyou yell at her. She sure was a difficult person, but Akeru had to find some way to get her ready. "You may not want to fight...but we all do things we don't want to do, Kyou. That's just the way life works! You told me that you wanted to get stronger, but you don't seem to want to do any work to do it."Akeru slowly walked over to Kyou. She knew that there wasn't much time until the exams, so she needed to see some kind of change in Kyou fast. "I'm not asking you to be the best fighter in the world, I'm not even asking you to impress me. I'm just asking you to fight! Do you know what a chunin does? A chunin leads others into battle, a chunin is responsible for the well being of everyone that follows them. Now tell me, look at yourself and tell me, do you really think that you could do that? Do you really believe you have what it takes to be a chunin?"Akeru now peered down at Kyou. She knew if Kyou didn't have confidence in herself, nobody else would, and she could never lead a team that way. "If you truly think you do, and you go out there and fight with all your heart, then even in failure, you should still be able to feel proud of what you have done. But if you don't, then it would be better for you not to embarrass yourself or our village by trying. Think about this long and hard before you decide what to do..."Turning her head away from Kyou, Akeru walked towards Akira, not stopping as she spoke to him. "Sorry, but I'm not really in the mood for training now. You should just prepare for the exams..."And Akeru continued walking out of the training canyons, heading towards her home. In all truth, she probably didn't have enough sway with tanto to really convince him to keep Kyou out of the exams. She never really considered it either, it was just an empty threat. But she really worried for Kyou. She could really see the girl getting herself or someone else killed eventually...

Kyou listened to Akeru as she spoke to her, giveing her an obvious lecture... but she didn't look at her, she couldn't... she felt so confused. She didn't know what to do! Akeru was right... maybe she just wasn't right to be a chunin... why does she even bother? She'll just fail like last time... Kyou just let herself fall forward to her knees so she was kneeling in the sand and just stayed there, she didn't feel like getting up... so she decided to just stay there... Now what...? Was she going to do to the exams...? Or should she just stay here and forget about it... it didn't seem like she was going to be getting anywhere...

Ichi looked at the Hawk that Came down to himself, As well as the one's that confronted Akira as well as Kyou. "I-it looks like.... the exams are starting" Ichi said as he finished the note. "I guess our plan to work together will come in Handy" Ichi said and he folded the note and slipped it into his pocket. "Kyou Can you... go to the Village H-hidden in the leafs and get the Clues there?" He asked actually seeming to take a leadership role; maybe it was due to it being information gathering which did not really need much contact of the physical kind. "Akira... I w-was going to ask you to go to Cloud... but the Clue we got took that out" He said pausing slightly. "Maybe s-stone, High population and close By, meaning you can get back quickly and we can all share the information w got form the villages" Ichi said putting a whole plan together in his head. "I a-am the slowest of the group... so I will stay here and get the clues here" Ichi Said nodding slightly to the other. "Meet back at the Village Gates as s-soon as we get the info?" He asked tilting his head slightly; his arm still clung to his side.
It was odd Ichi actually seemed to be taking a somewhat leadership like position at the moment; Once again it most likely was due to it was all planning and Tactics, and not actual confrontation.

Kyou glanced at the hawk and took the message and read it then just nodded and sent the hawk off once more. She sighed and stood up and put the note in her pocket and glanced at Ichi as he asked if she could get clues where the exams were at the leaf. "O-Okay..." she said and stood up adjusting her backpack. She made up her decision to go to the exams, so she was going to go and find some clues as soon as possile. "I s-should probably get going... I'll m-meet you back here soon...' she said and headed off into the desert, towards the land of fire. At least it wasn't too far away...

while Nights real body is at the Rice Stand, his Shadow Clone was instructed to roam around the village to get Info much more faster.
Night's clone walked towards the Training Canyons thinking that this was the last best place to search for the Sand Ninjas.
when he arrived, he saw a couple of sand Ninjas talking.
I dont believe ive met them before.
Said Night's clone to himself.
the clone then walked towards the other sand Ninjas and greeted them with a smile on his face.
"hello!"
said Night to the others.

Ichi said still looking at the new ninja. "Let me guess... you are going to the Chunin Exams?" He asked still having his sight on the new ninja. If so this could help there plan greatly; having more ninja then just the three of them.

He didn't know just how willing people in other villages would be to part with the information, but he knew he'd do his best. "I'll see you guys after I've gathered some info."

Night scratched the back of his neck and asked the other ninja
the same question that he asked Night.
Night added
"I came here looking for the other sand Ninjas that would participate on the exams.
ill be more than willing to team up with you to find where the exams will be held."

he said as he raised his hand to shake Ichi's hand.

Ichi looked down at Nights hand as he held it out for Ichi to Shake' Akira seeming to vanish as he headed towards the village hidden in the stone. "Nice... to meet you" Ichi said not moving his hands from there spot. "There are 4 Sand ninja going that i know of...." Ichi said looking at Night. "Kyou is gathering the tips.... from th Leaf, Akira is going to Stone... I am going to get all the Hints from here" Ichi said still looking at Night. "We are all gathering back here as soon as we can, hopefully in a day or two" Ichi said nodding slightly. "Which village, would you like to head to?" Ichi asked still looking at Night; the closer the village the better seeing as how that meant they would get back with the hints as soon as he could. "We will then put all the hints together.... the sooner the better" Ichi said nodding slightly.
