  Mitch & Cadarl Cadarl watched, fascinated, as the battle pursued. A thought came to his head just then.
Perhaps if Storm managed to kill Mitch, the team would need a new leader and Cadarl would be the only candidate. Yes, that would be quite nice.
Cadarl smiled smugly to himself and continued to watch.
Mitch yowled in pain as the metal claw scraped across his chest, but his parents had taught him never to show weakness.
He ceased the yowling, instead turning around and releasing a burst of embers into the Raichu's face. There weren't that many, though, considering he was still relatively new to fighting.

Xavier---Storm
Storm hit the breaks of his attack at that Ember. A weak fire type move of course, but...fur was highly flameable.
Xavier smiled at the Monferno. "Well, you dont ha-"
FWOOSH.
"HOLY MOTHER OF MEW I'M ON FIRE!"
The Umbreon blinked and turned to the groun in slight shock to see Storm rolling around in a frenzy, completely engulfed in flames.
Hoo boy, how did he know this would happen?

 OpalOpal's tail coiled to the side a little, allowing her to slide on the branch a little closer to Xavier.
"I-It's fine. I... I want to help," She said with a smile.

Mitch & Cadarl Cadarl grimaced at the unfortunate happenings. "I'll get him next time..." he muttered slowly.
Mitch seemed equally as surprised as Cadarl. He put a triumphant grin on his face and began to bounce up and down.
He looked up at the tree, meaning to grin at Xavier, but he stopped when he saw Opal.
He turned his face back to the ground and padded it with his foot, embarassed as hell.

Xavier---Storm
Xavier sighed, leaping onto the ground and waltzing over to Storm with a sigh before kicking sand over the Raichu.
Storm stood, shaking his head and grinned.
"WHOO! That was intense!"
"Yes, well. Being fully engulfed in fire would be intense, I'd assume."
"Do I still smell like singed fur?"
The Umbreon assured him he smelt fine, refusing to prove this theory by sniffing the Raichu and Storm laughed before turning to the Chimchar.
"Nice flames! You're alright with me, kid."

OpalOpal swung up and landed on the branch with her feet.
She then hopped out of the tree.
Landing next to Xavier, she smiled.
"It was a good attack, even bet-" She stopped when she saw how the Chimchar was reacting to her.
"...Better than my first Ember..." She finished shyly.

Mitch & Cadarl Mitch bowed lightly towards the large dark Raichu. "Thank you, sir. It was an honor to fight you... Although I do not consider this a win. I would like another chance some time, sir."
Cadarl sneered a bit. "Yeah, next time rip his fur off of his thick hide," the Shuppet added.
Mitch twitched his head backwards, sending a tiny glare to his Co-Captain.
He then noticed Opal and shot his head downcast, scooching behind Cadarl for protection of some kind.

Storm laughed, "Whoa, chill with the 'Sir'. Just Storm is fine. Sure, we'll have another go later when the burning tingly feeling wears off."
He waved a paw and then eyed the Monferno before glancing at Xavier and then Mitch.
Oh ho~ What was this?
The Umbreon caught the look and growled.
"Meh, dont you have anything better to do right now Storm?"
"Huh, your right. I could be harrassing dad into babysitting Rayne again. Good point. Ciao~"
The Raichu turned tail and trotted out while whistling 'secret lovers' as loud as he could.

OpalOpal new that song, and so when Storm walked off whistling it, her face went very red and she turned around, hiding her face in her paw.
"J-Jerk..." She whispered softly.

Mitch & Cadarl An invisible question mark appeared above Mitch's head.
"I don't get the joke..." He muttered, scratching his head lightly.
Cadarl let out an annoyed grunt. "You never do, you bloody idiot," he spat. He then turned to Xavier and hovered directly in front of his face.
"You wouldn't happen to know why Storm would be singing that, would you?" he asked rhetorically for Mitch's annoyment.

Xavier blinked to Cadarl's question. Oh, he knew alright. Stupid Storm.
Rather than stating so he simply laughed.
"Aint got a clue! That Raichu is a trip isnt he?!"
Cue nervous laughter.
He was soooooo getting Storm back for this later.

OpalOpal looked around nervously.
"So, um, yeah, it was good seeing you again, X!" She said.
She looked at the Umbreon and waved, realizing she had just showed him her obvious blush.
Meeping, she ran back into the guild.

Mitch & Cadarl Cadarl glanced from Opal to Xavier. He then chuckled softly.
She's infatuated with Xavier, indeed, He thought to himself.
"Well, we should get going. Bye, Xavier! It was a pleasure to meet you," Mitch stated, and then the two exited and retired for the night.

 SukiSuki sighed softly, floating out into the cool, crisp air. She would have to try and drag Kai out tomorrow; spending time alone seemed so dreary after spending so long in the dungeon with Zori. Or maybe she could find a new friend. It would be difficult to do, considering her species, but she felt sure that she could locate another Ghost-type somewhere. Something with a sharp intellect would be nice; she needed an intelligent conversion once in a while. She paused in the center of the courtyard, looking around. She'd been expecting to have at least crossed paths with someone by now; the courtyard was one of the busiest places in the guild.
