|My allegiance lies with no one, but I am no bounty hunter.|

: - {Traverse Town : Alley} - :

Alex tilted her head to the side in thought for a moment. She seemed to sigh and gave him a sheepish little smile. "I must admit, I'm more here to hunt the heartless, than to find his brother. I hunt the heartless, Elde, as a life. Its the only way I function, really. But..." she said, looking at him in the eyes, "Soryuju seems like he has a good heart, and he needs all the help he can get. And I'd gladly like another shot to slice that little sound girl in half."

She looked away as she spoke into the shadows of the alley. Her eyes darkened a little, and she shifted her eyes back to him. "Same question to you. How devoted are you to him?"

| I simply hunt Heartless, nothing more. If you need that, then I am your girl.|

Souzourou
{Don't we live in a beautiful world? And now a beautiful universe?}

[Traverse town :: Second District Cafe]

He looked at Sory as the man explained a Sub, and at the meal once it arrived. "Ah...I see. So basically a sandwich...except...longer. What could be bad?" He asked the last part with a laugh. Then he was served his daily special. There was a Large section of what looked to be fish by texture, but of a color he had not seen fish come in before. On the side there were some small, long, golden pieces of food, and a small cup with what looked to be some red sauce inside (ketchup, for the fries, a fact he had no idea of). It all looked strange...but it was food, and again, food is a great way to find out about culture. "I humbly receive this meal." he said, a phrase which was so ingrained in his memory from his days of his first life, even in whichever incarnation this was, he still said it before meals. Even if it was in a different language every incarnation it was the meaning which had stuck with him.

And with that, he took a bite of the fish. Then he went to pour the red sauce (ketchup) on it, despite thinking the texture a bit strange to go with fish. Oh well, it was a new culture after all~.

((Someone should probably stop him before he ruins the fish, and end up with no ketchup or his fries D:!))

[Bollocks.]

Still chuckling after discovering what a sub was (they expected her to eat a sandwich??), Orielle dropped the hand that had previously been supported her chin, and raised an eye at the food the peculiar waiter placed before her. It's not her fault her orders just happened to be the most expensive things on the menu... T'was just a habit of hers to call out the dish with the most digits resting beside it, t'is all.
Cocking her head, the Archadian raised her brow ever-so-slightly at what was a... A white fleshy meat sprinkled with herbs and cupped in a flaky red shell.
"Lobster Gratinee; straight from Port Royal. I guarantee it is the best dish in Traverse Town, mademoiselle," the order quickly informed her, reading her skepticism.
Waving him away with her hand, Orielle sighed and reached for her cutleries. Thankfully, the eating utensils didn't seem to be any different. "Bon Appétit."

[Fal'Navi]
"...The shadows beckon."

[Castle Oblivion::Fal'navi's Room]

The Wrathful Dragon let out a small roar of frustration, throwing the book on his end table onto the ground harshly. The old book landed with a loud thud, and a seemingly awkward silence hung over the room. As it should, seeing as no one but the elven male was in there. The raven haired man kneeled down, gently scooping up the book.

It was this book...This book in his hands...It was the book that started it all. The black magic...The massacre...The blood of his family soaked upon his armor. It was a shame, really. Holding their faith in that infernal black dragon. He was above such a useless thing...He could- no, he should be the one they worshipped. With a sigh, Fal'navi set the book back on the end table where it belonged.

Tsurumi

I'd prefer if you were to just...

...disappear

{Castle Oblivion ~ Commons Area}

Turning away from Haruko, she began to examine her surroundings. Not much to say about it. A rather bland and disgusting place. Turning on her heel, she made her way towards the exit, deciding to explore what mysteries her room might hold. It was as she was walking out that something Diogenes was doing caught her eye. He seemed to standing off to the side, looking at the shadows. Somewhat curious, she sent a small breeze to blow through the area. Just Diogenes and what she had taken for a statue or some semblance of ventilation. Well, until it talked. And moved. And that was quite enough to draw her away from the mysteries of her room.

Strolling nonchalantly across the area, she came to a stop directly outside of the shadows. With another small breeze, she picked out where the two were standing. "You know, you have an incredible stillness about you. Why, I almost thought that you were a statue, or some form of ventilation unit. If you wouldn't have moved, I would never have noticed you." She said to the man in the shadows (Zekvyr). She mentally chided herself for not being more aware. She wouldn't let a slip like that happen again.

[[Xogame]]

<"Emotions are the true source of all evil.">

[Traverse Town: Second District]

Xogame frownd as he came to the clocktower doors. Locked. How unsuprising. Sighing, He turned for the doors. There was no point in causing a commotion just to see if something that might possibly lead to something that reveals the heart of this world. There was too little reward for too much risk. Logic dictated that he not waste his time. Yes, logic. that was what he needed, what he wanted. The worlds would be better off under logic's reign.

Bard of Lore
Solaris

Sorry...
...I'll be taking my leave now.

{Traverse Town : First District}

As Sol continued to pet Enyb's feathers, he watched what was going on in the area, holding his staff tightly. However, when he noticed the wizard appear and start fixing everything, he nearly dropped his staff. He had appeared from thin air, without any sign of it draining him. That was high level teleportation magic. And then he was so easily fixing everything. He knew of nobody on Crinosis who could do that, not even his parents. He stood watching for several more minutes, then letting go of Enyb's feathers, walked slowly over to the man (Merlin).

"Excuse me.... Who...who are you?" He asked, holding his staff tightly. He knew that if the man decided to attack him, he'd have no chance of winning. He was too powerful. "Um, I'm sorry for making one of the cracks in the ground. Please don't be mad!" He said, bowing his head in apology.

User Image"Ah, there we go, right as rain," Merlin muttered as he finally finished flicking his wand.

The entire First District had been restored to its proper state, including the Diner.

As the wizard slowly breathed a sigh of relief, his ears perked up at the sound of a boy nearby, talking to him. Quickly turning to face the young lad, Marlin couldn't help but smile.

"I'm not mad, m'boi, not mad at all. You were just fighting those other nasty buggers, weren't you?" he explained with a smile before offering a hand. "I'm Merlin. I still need to make one more stop before I'm done with repairs, but if you'd like to come, we can chat about your magic abilities, hmm?"

[Ölüm]

(Unfortunately, there is not a fleck of remorse within me.)

[Castle Oblivion : Commons Area => Haruko's Room]

The pricking of his finger irked him as Ölüm had just healed all of his wounds and regained all of his energy. A little p***k made that process imperfect. It would heal on its own, but he hadn't expected damage to be done so soon.

The blood hissed loudly as it reacted with the material that it was placed upon. He stepped inside and did not react when she told him about being the first one to have come into her room.

"Well, my dear" he said in a low almost hiss, "I believe we have business to attend to... but there is one matter I would like to discuss with you. The new members of the Conclave... especially the one... do you trust them?"

☼~Ƞѳɱaa βli†ʓ ~☼

{Queen of the Spanish Main.}
[Traverse Town : Second District Cafe]

Nomaa was relatively quiet as she simply observed the group that graced her table. Aside from ordering some fish and another pint, the pirate captain said few words, only interjecting into the conversation where appropriate. Her eyes constantly moved from one to the next, making her own list of observations in a way that she hoped would fly under the radar. At the very least she would get their names down before the end of the evening - Nomaa always had a knack for remembering names. It came in handy when she was yelling at her crew -- they had to know who was being punished.

Elde disappeared from the table while Nomaa was inspecting one of the other patrons of her table, the boy soon followed by Alexandra. It took a lot of...will power to keep Nomaa from going after them herself. She didn't like when people just disappeared like that. Of course, she masked her concern for their whereabouts with a smile, casually asking the group if their mate was alright. However, before she could engage in a full conversation with anyone, their waiter came, bringing Orielle her plate of food.

"Lobster Gratinee; straight from Port Royal. I guarantee it is the best dish in Traverse Town, mademoiselle."

"Port Royal," she caught herself muttering, eyes snapping to the waiter. It was clear that the mention of her hometown shocked her, though the grin that tugged on the corner of her lips suggested another motive. She smiled as he set her own plate of fish before her, prepared in some way that she vaguely remembered from her childhood. When they had fish on her ship it was just grilled and slapped onto a plate. However, as she popped the food into her mouth, she realized that all conversations around her were distant, unheard. Her mind was racing -- if they were getting shipments of lobster from Port Royal, there had to be a transport vessel. She was in need of a new ship.

"Does this town have a dock of some kind?" Her words were tinged with curiosity, and curiosity only -- she made sure of that. She did not yet know if this group was trustworthy, and as such did not want to reveal more about her motives than she had to. Considering her appearance and clear occupation, she figured that would be a pretty logical question.

[*~Youni~*]
"...."

[First district: Following Aerith>Hotel Cafe]

....Everything started with nothing.

and things moved with no sense ....

.... the presence of many buffering against it

.... imprinting what was missing.

When the contents of the cup were finished, Youni set it down. The cup made a soft tapping noise upon the table, which made her blink in curiosity. So she repeated this action to hear the noise again and again until she was satisfied with what it was.

These cups make a different noise then the ones in Aeriths home. They chime when colliding with a solid object. Do they break?

Then again, maybe testing that question wasn't a good idea, Aerith said breaking things wasn't good either. Just like breaking herself wasn't good either. Leon said breaking wasn't a good enough term to describe what happens to a person. They call it 'hurting'. But hurting an object is somehow different, so the terms mean the same action- but somehow the gravity of their destruction means something different in importance.
She didn't understand this concept.

Confusing.

Youni looked across at Faust, his metallic silver hair, his oddly matching eyes. Just like hers- yet it wasn't the same somehow.
Could he break things? Did he break- hurt people? He carries a sword. Leon says that is what swords do. They hurt people, that's what they are made for.

"Youni has finished the meal Aerith." she informed, momentarily forgetting the difference in meaning between first person and informative terms.

{Ignorance is bliss... until reality throws a Heartless siege at you.}

[Traverse Town : Second District Cafe]

As Xifan and Colorai finally reunited and left the Hotel Café, Soryuju couldn't help but smile somewhat, glad that the two were safe and sound. He was surprised, however, to find the strange bunny-like humanoid from before (Nalo, was his name) was in the same Café with them, asking him a question.

"Ah, everything's fine actually- why don't you join us?" he replied with a smile, inviting the Viera male to take a seat at their table with him. Soryuju then returned to the table, preparing to eat his sub and continue with the conversation, only to over-hear Nomaa's question.

"Well, there is a port, so to speak," he explained lightly, taking a bite of his sandwich and swallowing before continuing. His tone was a bit solemn as he pieced together just why she was asking. "There's the Gummi Ship hangar, where most of us off-worlders keep our ships when we make a visit... since you didn't know that, I'm guessing you got here after an attack by dark creatures...?"

"You should learn to relax sometimes, Faust," Aerith said to the young bounty hunter, smiling lightly as she tried to help ease his nerves. Shortly after, Youni finished her meal about the time Aerith had finished hers. The young girl had learned to pace her eating from Aerith, so it was no surprise the two finished at the same time.

"Very good, Youni," Aerither responded, smiling reassuringly at the pictomancer. "When Mister Faust is done, we'll all be finished and we can go see Merlin, okay?"

{Ooo Goody! What are we Torturing today?!}

[Castle Oblivion:: Haruko's Room]

Haruko looked blankly at Ölüm's low emotion count for everything she had set up. It ticked her off slightly but not enough to get mad. She just giggled a little bit at his expression of getting started. "Well I would like to start getting more equipment in here. The only thing thats bugging me is that I do have alot of weapons of torture. I wish I had Oogie Boogie's stuff..." she trailed off suddenly.

Her expression changed when Ölüm talked about the new people that entered the Conclave. She started to talk in a very high in a cute voice "Well I guess if Master Vereor likes them and picked them they are the gifted ones but personality wise I don't like them. They seem too cocky to be here. We have enough of that with 'certain' members in here." she air quoted the word 'certain' to prove a point.

"I just want to go on a mission or kill someone!! I'm getting antsy Ölüm!!!" she cried and tugged on his shirt to gain emphasis on how bored she was.

She then had her classic ADD momment and said, "Um..... what should I add into this room? Maybe a huge Knife from the ceiling or some gags. OO! I got it! Maybe some test subjects.... maybe we should terrorize the new members!!!" She then giggled and clapped happly at her idea before running around the room getting prepared for some rennovation.

NALΘ

"I will for a while, but once my fruit is finished. I must get back to Enyb. I promised him I wouldn't be out too long." Nalo followed Soryuju back to his table and sat down. He decided to start with introductions. That was always the best way to make new friends. "Hello. I am Nalo, a Viera that hails from Ivalice. Nice to meet you." Nalo flashed a large grin.

[[GMing Diogenes as well]]

[ Ѵ ͼ Ʀ ͼ Ѳ Ʀ ]

{A heart shed for power is the only heart of worth.}

[Castle Oblivion : Commons Area (AKA Kitchen)]

It had been only ten, maybe fifteen minutes since Vereor's departure, and yet a Corridor of Darkness formed in the room, allowing for the cloaked figure to appear, his hood down around his neck to reveal his contrasting features: pale skin, golden eyes, and straight, pitch-black hair that went below his shoulders into the rest of his cloak. He glanced around, noticing who was still in the room- the new fellows, and Zekvyr in his shadows.

"Your new jewelry," he said dully, tossing to each of the new members their preferred accessories; the moongem ring (while it did not have any of the special qualities that the moongem may have had, it looked identical), an emerald necklace, and an almandite amulet. Diogenes caught his piece with ease, turning away from Zekvyr as though the drow had become less interesting.

"Now, I'm going to have some paopu tea and crumpets. Is anybody interested?" he asked, walking over to the kitchen counter to prepare the things he'd just mentioned.
