Roland looked at Garaden and shook his head. "A real man wouldn't use camouflage and hide. He would face his adversary or problem." He said looking forward. He heard the river when Nimue mentioned it. He watched the water go roaring past and looked at the bridge. "At least the bridge is still there." He said stopping before it, "That would be a great help." He nodded to Nimue and waited for everyone to catch up.
Rudolf watched as Ivan trudged through the muddy puddle. He then ran to catch up with Kai. "So be soon there we." He said hearing the river. He looked at the high and fast water and gulped. He then looked at the swaying bridge and began to feel sick. "Not good feel now." He said lowering his ears.

Ivan started to growl at Roland. Where'd he get off talking to Garaden like that? He quickly swallowed his growl back. Garaden could handle it himself. Ivan approached the river's edge cautiously, dipping a paw into the icy water. He sighed, then nodded to Nimue in thanks. "No time like the present." He said, though eyeing the bridge warrily.
Garaden's ears flipped back. "One has to keep his options open. And I didn't say hide. I said sneak. Big difference." He grumbled back. He sat down, taking in the river and the bridge. "When was the last time someone used that?"

dragon sat downon the floor as shadow had his head raised high walking proudlyshadow glared at the ant on the ground and saw other moonlits

Naito hadn't said a word the whole time. He looked down at the water and shrugged. "Well I don't care. I'm up for crossing." Naito didn't really have any fear in him at all, plus he sort of was enjoying this little mission since it was nice to be back in the wild again instead of being stuck in the house. He was raised in the outdoors and he thought it neat to face some of its challenges.

Kai trotted forward to stand beside Rudolf and Garaden and he stared at the river and then looked at Nimue.
"You must be crazy woman!" He shook his head and sighed. "Man... first mud, then puddles and then a river..." He heard Rudolf and he tilted his head at him. "Hey man, it'll be great. Just think of it as a.. uh...cool game. You get across, you win!"
Atreyu joined everyone on the rivers edge and stared at the river and the bridge. He watched it carefully, studied its movements and then nodded.
"That'll be a big help..." He said to Nimue. He turned to the others and listened to their reactions; some made him smile and others he responded with an encouraging smile. He heard Garaden's comment and laughed. "I would think it's been awhile." He also heard Naito and turned to look at him. He smirked at the purple male and had to give it to him that he was brave at the moment. Atreyu turned back to the bridge, their obstacle at hand and nodded slowly. "Alright, I'm thinking the best way to get across is one at a time."
Nimue nodded back to Roland and looked at the other knights. They seem eager enough, she thought to herself.
"Then if you want to get across, I have to get started. I'll be far to busy in a few moments to say goodbye though." She approached each of the knights and licked each of their noses in goodbye. "I'll be seeing you all later." Turning away from them and letting them converse, she approached the river and stared down into the water and at once, she used her ability of water control and concentrated on keep the river slow. The river's pace began to gradually slow. It still somewhat fast but it was slow enough so that the bridge didn't sway as much. Pleased with the result, Nimue smirked slightly but kept her concentration.

Roland shook his head at Garaden. "Not that big." He said turning to Nimue, "Goodbye sai." He then turned to the river and bridge. The water had slowed and he looked at Nimue surprised. She was quite powerful. He smiled slightly then turned to Atreyu. "I'll go first if you don't mind." He said walking forward. He began crossing the old bridge and would freeze slightly when it swayed. About half way there a board cracked and broke sending one of his paws through. Hissing in pain Roland withdrew his paw and continued on. "Watch out there's a broken board." He called.
Rudolf shook his head at Kai. "Not game cool." He said sinking to the ground, "Go I last." He would go after everyone else had crossed, giving himself more time to prepare.

"Yeah. It is. Haven't you ever seen The Mummy 2? Or that one episode of Adam-12? Nevermind, I'll explain later." Garaden watched Roland cross, frowning at the broken step. He scratched at an ear as Rudolf's nevousness was getting to him. "Just get it over with." He snapped to himself. He took a deep breath and quickly scooted across, passing carefully over the broken board. Reaching the other side in one piece he shook his fur out to relieve the tension. "Alright. Next up."
Ivan nodded to Nimue, giving her nose a lick in return. "See you." He watched as first Roland crossed, then Garaden. He flashed those still on this side a confident smile and headed for the bridge. He paused before it, watching it's movement and scanning the boards. Shaking his head, he trotted across, slightly slower than Garaden had. He reached the other side, shaking off the cold water that had splashed up. "Alright." He called back. He started sniffing around the new area, though at least one eye stayed on the bridge.

Naito was rather calm and focused on crossing the bridge. It was almost like he was in his own little fun room. He wasn't that upset by whatever was going on and made sure that he didn't slip, although he almost fell off when the bridge swayed one bit, but he quickly regained his balance.

Kai stared at the bridge and sighed.
"Alright.. it's just a cool game. I just have to get across and I make it to the next level." He approached the bridge and stepped out onto it. He paused every few steps or so and when he finally made it across, he jumped off onto the ground. He took a deep breath and looked off towards the dark forest.
"I never thought I'd miss solid ground so much."
Atreyu watched the others cross over the bridge safely and then he turned to Nimue.
"Thank you Nimue for everything... please stay safe." He said to her although he knew she couldn't respond at the moment. He turned to Rudolf and smirked encouragingly at him. "See you on the other side then."
Atreyu stepped onto the old planks of the bridge and began to make his way slowly. The bridge swayed and he wobbled on his paws for a moment and laid flat against the planks until the swaying stopped. He stood again slowly and finished the cross, jumping off and walking away from the bridge.
Nimue could feel the water slowing down a tad more and she reinforced with her ability the fact that it must remain that way for the knights so they could return safely as well. Still concentrating, she called out to them.
"Good luck!"

Rudolf barely watched as the others crossed. He looked up and saw that he was the last knight remaining on this side. "Think I stay going do here." He groaned.
Roland had turned around and watched everyone cross. He sighed when Rudolf didn't cross immediately. "He's not going to cross without some persuasion. This is going to be interesting." He said looking at Atreyu with a smile, "Hey Rudolf! You remember how you told me that you don't like bears? Well I hate to break it to you but there's one behind you and it looks angry!" He smiled a little thinking of how Rudolf is going to react.
Rudolf looked up at Roland shocked. "Really?!" He cried shock, "Come I here!" With that he dashed across the bridge and made it to the other side in a minute. He was gasping for breath when he turned around. "There bear no is there." He said turning to Roland angry, "Lie you!" Roland shrugged in response.

Garaden watched the others cross, tilting his head as Rudolf hesitated. He sat heavily as Rudolf ran across the bridge, not sure weather to laugh or feel bad for him. "One down-" He turned to the forest. "-and who knows how far to go.."
Ivan padded back to the group. Waving good-bye to Nimue, he said, "There are a lot of new smells over here. Some are wolves, some are not. I think I recognized one of the wolf scents. I didn't recognize all the scents though. You know to already, but just to reinforce it, keep your senses open. Who knows what's out here." He turned to Atreyu and gestured with his head to the over-grown path ahead, a light smirk on his face. "Lead the way, fearless leader."

Naito didn't know what to think of poor Rudolf, but he let it slide since it got him across. He lightly smiled and faced towards the area the rest were facing. The purple male was wondering what was ahead as well.

Nimue blinked, falling out of her trance and she stared at the now slower stream. Sighing, she noticed Ivan waving goodbye and she lifted her paw and waved goodbye to him as well. She turned and began to walk off of the path towards the trees; her duties calling her. away
((Nimue - to the fields then to the sitting room when the knights return))
Kai watched Rudolf dart across the bridge and he chuckled to himself but not aloud as it seemed Rudolf was mad about it.
"Hey Rudolf, guess what, you made it over! But just think how bad it would be if a real bear had been behind you."
Atreyu cracked a smile at what Roland did for Rudolf and he shook his head.
"Well, at least it worked and we're all over the bridge safely and lets hope it isn't too far Garaden..." Atreyu stared at the forest for a moment and then turned to Ivan after what he said. "You say one of the scents is familiar? Friendly familiar or unfriendly?" Atreyu asked, glancing towards Ivan and then back towards the path. He lifted his head and sniffed at the area. Twitching his tail, he frowned. "Let's go then... there is no sense in hanging around any longer. Be on the look out everyone for anything strange."
With a quick nod, Atreyu jumped over a few bushes and slipped through a few vines hanging from the trees and led the way down the path.

Roland turned to follow those who where leaving already. He smiled as he thought of the trick he played on Rudolf. He scanned the area real quick before moving. "Will do Atreyu." He said looking back at Rudolf, "Don't be mad Rudolf. I only did it to get you to come across." He then faced forward and continued on.
Rudolf gave Roland an angry look before shaking his head. "Fine. Forgive you I." He said turning to Kai, "Yeah did I it make." He shook his head thinking about if a bear had been behind him. He jogged to catch up with everyone else.

Garaden paused at the bushes. He recognized the scent too. But where had he smelled this wolf before? Swiping at a leaf, he bound over the bush, pushing the scent away to think about what might be ahead.
Ivan closed his eyes to concentrate on the scent. "I believe it's friendly familiar. Someone I've met once before. I can't remember her name though." Shrugging, he trotted after the others. "If we do run into her, I don't think she'll cause us any problems."
