I cant really relate with that too much gonk There's probably more but I can't think of it right now. What about you? I read a lot... Movies at times though less frequently.. Most my life right now just involves work and school. Pretty boring neutral I need to get back into both after my move. I'm a pretty big movie buff myself. Nice! I'm slowly getting ready to move myself... 5 months to go yet! Can't wait whee

"The Brothers Karamazov" is what I am currently reading. I can't say I've ever tackled any Dostoyevsky. Mostly I read sci-fi and fantasy, nothing particularly profound or challenging, haha. 3nodding

Plus I got bored enough to lug around "War and Peace" for about two and a half months so that started it all off.

There are just not enough hours in the day. xp I've been re-reading the Wheel of Time series, since the last book was released in January.

I've never really understood the point of some of the "movie editions" of books, especially since most movies are so different from the books on which they're based. For instance, I read the French translation of Memoirs of a Geisha, and then someone gifted it to me in English when the movie was released, with Zhang Ziyi on the cover. It's been quite a while since I've read it in either language, but I seem to recall the movie having some pretty big changes from the original story. It's the same for any number of movies based on books. I would guess the idea is just to sell more books and more movie tickets, but it's always just seemed odd...

People just see the person on the front and then buy it just because they remember that person not really for the book itself.
