I spent 9 hours bending over and laying down bricks (30 pounds each) today and 8 hours yesterday. I did it all... because if I don't do it, my dad doesn't feed me ._.

So I went to the Tom Petty concert today...and it was effing FANTASTIC!! He is still so good!! To me Tom represents my childhood, so it was quite a trip. Plus it turned out that Stevie Nicks was there!! That was even better!! They did duets and everything.
Okey, now time for the complaining...so we got out of the concert just in time to make an early escape...but as it turned out my boyfriend had accendentally left the lights on in his truck and the battery had died. crying It is a stick shift, so we tried doing the little trick where you push it to start it...and it didn't work. We tried like 10 times with different random strangers pushing it...it was kind of weird and ridiculous.
So there I was, tired from standing, sore from standing, without cigarettes in a stressful situation, and getting pretty hungry. On top of that, these kids that worked in the parking lot had called a tow truck at about 11pm when we got out of the concert...well about 12:40 rolled around and there was no tow truck and nobody that actually wanted to help had jumper cables to do so.
Not ONLY that, but even if the car DID run, traffic in the parking lot had come to a complete stop about an hour prior! So it didn't even matter if the truck WAS running! It was surreal...their excuse was there was construction and they wouldn't open up any of the exits that it seemed perfectly legitmate TO open.
So everyone that was around us were equally as tired, and just wanted to leave...so people were honking their horns in anger and yelling and all sorts of crazy stuff. Well that was when we had had enough...we decided to walk about a half mile out of the parking lot to a gas station and called a cab from Vancouver WA to Portland OR...which is a liiiiitle bit of a ways, not much but enough if you are in a super expensive cab. It ended up being about 40$...but we finally made it home...so that I could b***h to you all. Thank you. <3

@KK: Ouch, that really sucks. Well, I hope it gets better soon.
@Ve: Cabs are way to expensive, but at least it was a good concert right? Did you get the car back yet?

lol Ve. Good that you slept in. 3nodding But that's just crazy. I went to a Tool concert a few years back, and it rocked, even with all the drunks... xd But the place was pretty well-made, so we only had to sit in about a half hour of traffic...

Eh, I sit at a desk and put check marks on paper for 6 hours a night. It's boring, but we have a lot of freedom so it's actually kinda fun.

Not only THAT but we barely made it away before they were going to shut down the main highway out of that area!! I think that we were about 3 minutes shy of that. Prolly the one turn of luck we had had for the last 2 hours. Oh no wait!! When we decided to get the cab there just happened to be one waiting at the gas station we found!
High Adventure.
