I'm not actually in my band but not for lack of trying.
See, they start teaching it in sixth grade here and if you try to get in afterwards, the longer you wait, the harder it gets to get in.
But I love my school band. I adore it actually.

I play the flute. This was my second year in marching band and my sixth or seventh playing flute. I used to kick a** at the recorder, too, but then I kinda lost it... xd
Originally from Queens, moved to the 'burbs (aka Long Island) almost ten years ago because my mom likes the beach and my dad goes along with whatever she says mrgreen Haha, good times out on the Island.
My band was one of the "founding bands" of the Hofstra Marching Band Festival (meaning we;ve been going the longest).
Oh, and I added my pin on the map.
