Allen didnt laugh. he finished the burger, and laid back, not sure what to do. his feet werent bleeding anymore though, so he was fine... except for the pain.

Max finished off his burger and lazily threw the wrapper on the floor. He then laid on the other bed that was next to Allen's and closed his eyes. The boy reminded him so much of the thieves that took him in and raised him. He thought for a bit then fell asleep.

Sunlight came in through the window and shined on Max. Max groaned and pulled the blanket over his head. He didn't feel like getting up.

Max kept sleeping. He was dreaming then suddenly he rolled off the bed and landed on the floor with a thump.
"Ow..." He said flatly.

Max sat up and rubbed his head. He glared at Allen. Thanks for seeing what happened! He silently thought in his head. He looked out the window. It looked like it was late in the morning.

Max thought of a nice prank to pull on Allen, but he didn't do it because he thought that the boy had had it rough the last few days. He sat on his bed and just looked at the lump of cloth that the boy was under. He sighed.

There was no motion from the cloth... and a slight breeze suddenly blew the door open, which hadnt bee completely closed...
