I make my way into camp and look at Jairn. "My night went, boringly un eventful." I throw the spear into the ground and place the shield with it. I grab the saber, thats what I thought of it as, and look at it. "How would I make it so I didn't have to lug it with me at my hip, I can deal with the short spear and the shield, but this thing is hindering..." I demonstrate what I mean by putting the spear and shield on my back neatly, and then the sword at my hip. "It, is not right."

Kahlan finally wandered back to camp after two days of meditation and sorting through Helena's memories.
"Evening you two," she eyed Jacques' new weapons, "I thought you were a 'hand to hand' kind of guy. Where did you get these?"

"the sword was thrust upon me, and the spear is blunt, and the shield, I just like it." I smile. Not too mention, I guess I just needed some weapons, if we are journeying, a weapon or two will be nice to have." I sigh. "Now, where were you?"

She tapped a finger to her forehead, "Sorting through some things up here."
She sat down on a fallen tree nearby, "So when do we move again, I mean, I'm sure someone is going to come out here looking for Jarlaxel or you, Jairn, we need to go...soon."

I look from her to Jairn. "She is right, we should either go back in, in an all out frenzy, or pack up and find somewhere else to camp out, maybe the next town over, Au Sable, I hear its a nice place, hard to fit in for us, but I am sure we could manage." I had an itching, if we were to leave, all my guns... I needed them!

Just because I finally thought of good accents, Jairn sounds Australian and Drako sounds Celtic.
"Heh what happened to not wanting to kill, Jac? The other Fold members came from the exact same background as me, they just aren't as good."I pulled Stephanos' knife out from where I had it stuck into the tree. "Stephanos was a good friend, reliable man and good with throwing knifes. I had to kill him an Johnathan just a little while ago. Face it, you're going to have to kill in bad blood sooner or later. It won't hurt as much when you learn to accept that. Jairn is right, even if that was just a bit too random of a lecture to bring up. Anyway we need to head on, there is no way we can take an entire city's underbelly down, and thats what we would have to do. But the next town we go to will still have people hunting us, there is no escape now. We kill them when their rear their heads and we move on."

"Hmph. You believe so? Haha, I guess you are alot alike." I sigh. "Your right though, so much have you two brought on, Jarlaxle and you, that we are wanted. Looks like we are in the rough together." I stand, and then walk over to a tree. "We should go though. I am hungry, and I need a proper bed at least one night this week. We should be able to find a room somewhere in Au Sable."

"Proper bed? Light weight... I'll stick to the safety of the cities perimeter during the night time, I would rather not wake up to a knife in the ribs you know. And if you would excuse me I think I am a little tired from blood loss so...I think I'm going to rest for an hour or two" I sat down where I was and pulled out a wineskin to waste away the hour.

I look at him. "I am just saying we should go." I walk into a more suitable clearing, and sit down. The moonlight shining down on me, I close my eyes. I breath normally, and open my eyes. Looking up, I watch the moon intently. There was something about it that made me want it. I grab my spear, and throw it at a nearby tree, it misses and lands next to it, deep in the ground. I grab the shield and throw it, it lands on the opposite side of the tree. I growl. I needed to practice that some more.

Kahlan walked out from behind a tree and picked up the spear.
"You are not very good with this spear."
She proceeded to throw it towards him, the spear landing next to his foot.
"Why not practice a little before we head out? You are already packed right."

I look up from thinking. "Sure." I stand with a bit of an oof, and pick up the spear. "I have this feeling I am better with this than I know." I spin it in my hands like I had done several times with a small bamboo stick Axel had taught me with. "Shall we?"

She pulled out her Katana, the sword not often used and got in a battle stance. She waited he would make the first move, humans always did, even the "special" ones.

I slowly circle to my shield, grab it and roll in one fluid movement. I roll past her attack, and come up with my blunt spear tip. She dodges easily. "Darn." I jump away and wait, circling her. I ready myself with my shield. I used one of these back in my initial training. I could attack and defend with one, so I was set.

"How much does that weigh? Ten, twenty pounds? I think you weren't trying hard enough in are last training session."
She leapt upside-down over his head and spun her katana into his left shoulder, colliding instead with his shield.
"Hmf."
She bounced off and jumped a few feet away, "Think you can catch me with that spear?"
