Lani took the cool glass of water into her hands, running over the smooth surface of her with her slender fingers. "Thank you Ishio." She whispered, her throat slightly sore from coughing so much. The then grabbed her bag that was next to her feet and took out the same amount of doses she took the day before, hoping to get even better results this time. She soon swallowed them before she zipped it up once more, nudging it under the coffee table with her foot. She looked pale, but that was only because she was cold, literally. She took another sip of her water as she shook lightly, biting her bottom lip now.

Ishio felt her tremble a bit so he sat up and wrapped an arm around her waist. With his free hand, he grabbed the water once she haden taken a couple more drinks and placed it on the table. He moved the blanket over Lani's body and he turned on the television to get rid of the silence. He released his grip on her and just sat beside her, feeling guilty for her sickness.

Lani smiled as she felt his arm wrap around her, loving the feeling she got when she was in his arms. But when he placed the blanket on her and took his arm off of her, she narrowed her eyes slightly. But she soon saw the guilty look on his face, causing her to sigh gently. "Ishio, this isn't your fault..." She told him in a voice just above a whisper, looking from him to the television set, moving herself to lean against him as she did so. "I'm going to be okay honey? So don't worry about it..." She told him with a weak smile, chuckling a tad underneath her breath.

Ishio wrapped his arm back around her and held her close against him, leaning his head down on top of hers. "Alright." He turned his head and kissed the the top of her head before starting to watch the t.v. He yawned a bit, still feeling a bit sleepy, but not enough to fall asleep again. Underneath the blanket, he moved his hand over hers.

Lani smiled, giggling gently when he kissed the top of her head. She then looked up at him when he yawned, kissing his cheek quickly. As his hand snaked over to hers from under the blanket, she chuckled gently, grasping it in hers before she spread his fingers and intertwined their hands together. "I love you Ishio...so much..." She whispered to him as she looked down from his hands to up to his face, which was on top of her own.

Ishio smiled after her words and closed his eyes, feeling at complete bliss. "I love you too, Lani. I love you with all my heart." His embrace tightened a bit more and he chuckled slightly as he spoke his affectionate words. Hearing her say that she loved him, made his day better and better. He removed his head from on top of hers and looked down at her face, becoming lost in her eyes.

"I-Ishio..." Lani breathed as she stared up at him, speechless about the depth of his love for her. She blushed lightly as she stared into his eyes with her own burgundy ones before a smile lit up her face. "Love is just an understatement for what I feel for you babe. Yes, I love you. But what I truly feel for you is so much more...Ishio, I want to spend the rest of my life with you..." She told him, smiling lightly as she wrapped her free arm around his head, since their hands were currently intertwined at the moment. She then closed her eyes as she reached up to him, kissing him on the lips lightly as she did so.

Ishio kissed her back before responding to her latter statement. Of course, the kiss lasted for a few seconds. "Good, 'cause that's how I feel towards you." He set his lips against hers again and continued kissing her for a few more minutes atleast. It probably wasn't the wisest thing, getting her worked up, but it was rather difficult to resist with the affection that was passing between them. He did want to spend the rest of his life with a girl he'd only met yesterday. He laughed in his head, but it felt completely right to him. He closed his eyes and deepened the kiss a bit more, tightening his grip on her hand as well.

"I-Ishio..." She whispered gently before she felt his soft lips press themselves against her own. She blinked rapidly before she closed her eyes once more, pulling him close to her and pressing her body against his own. Her grip on his hand tightened as well as she smiled into the kiss. She let out a sudden sigh of happiness as she felt her heart beat against her chest quickly yet in a strong fashion, threatening to burst out of her chest at any moment. She took in a sharp breath as she felt her heart suddenly go sparratic, which caused her to break the kiss in an instant. She panted softly as she grasped her chest, trying to regain her breath. She shouldn't be doing too much while still so sick and weak. But she'd rather be sent to the hospital for doing something she loved than nothing at all.

As Ishio had thought, something had happened from the increased heartrate that she would obviously gain from kissing him. He should have stopped himself, but found it difficult. He held her cheek in his hand and looked down at her as she held her chest, clear expressions of worry on his face once again. He lied her down so that she was facing him and they were in a more comfortable position. He smiled and kissed her cheek. "You should get better before getting excited." He chuckled slightly and brushed his hand through her hair. "You're so beautiful, Lani. I know I've said it many times, but it's I find it hard NOT complimenting your beauty." he said lovingly before he leaned his head forward and kissed her forehead, then rested his against hers.

"I...I-Ishio-kun..." Lani whispered as she held onto her sweatshirt tightly for a minute, wincing before she took in a soft breath of air, calming down her heart rate almost immediately. She let out a sigh of relief as she stared up at Ishio, who had moved her as well as himself to lay beside each other, staring into each other's eyes as they did so. At his next few comments, she couldn't help but blush a light pink, especially now that he was doing so much to make her feel so warm and loved. "Ishio-kun, thank you..." She whispered to him, wanting to try and refer to him in his Japanese honorifics way, also wanting to abide by the rules of this new land.

Ishio noticed her using the honorifics and smiled. They weren't entirely necessary, but it was nice that she was trying to abide by their customs. He couldn't help but kiss her on the lips for a single second then pulled her body closer agains this as they lied there. He set his forehead against hers once again and closed his eyes for a moment. Everything still felt like a dream and when he opened his eyes, his smile widened as it was proved wrong. No. He had found the perfect girl for him and he was truly happy to have her next to him, excited that she was in love with him. He chuckled a bit as he held her against his body.

"Yeah that sounds good,"Said kyuusei as he couldn't even make eye contact and kept them loked on the sky outside the door. He really wasn't good with people after everything that happened but he tried.
