Amelia looked back up as a rather tall lizard-looking man came into the room. She would have been concerned, seeing as he wasn't exactly familiar, but she immediately relaxed at the music of his guitar, eyes half-closing. "Pretty..." she murmured appreciatively. She only half-paid attention as he spoke of Alihi's daughter, and Amelia could her her footsteps right out of the room. His words to Sue, though, concerning her plan, woke her up a little more.
"There seems to be general consensus that you are our greatest chance for dealing with this bird problem, but I urge you not to run off just yet, Miss Sue. I trust that you are indeed an excellent shot, but... Do you really think you can, from the ground, hit a moving hawk in the dark in the middle of the night?"
"We'll have to wait for morning," Amelia murmured. She rubbed one eye. She wasn't sure if she would honestly be able to get much more sleep, not after this. Not after finding out that not only was their only way to save their friends rather finicky, but also that one of their strongest, closest allies, Tibarn, had been turned as well. "If anything, we've all had a rough day, trying to rest to be at full energy wouldn't hurt you... and even the mighty Hawk King has to rest."
Amelia ran a hand through her hair, combing out a couple of knot with her fingers. She looked to the reptilian newcomer in vague interest, looking to his guitar and then to his face. "I think I must have missed the introductions... Name? Mine's Amelia."

"...Wait. You mean it's NOT morning!?"
Rhys blinked, said the above words rather loudly, and looked around. It was, finally, at that time in which he finally realized that those lights? Yeah, they were lit candles. Outside? Yeah, dark. Lots and lots of dark.
"...O-oh. Uhh... well. A-anyway, I meant to say something about those who--never mind. I'm sorry. It's too late now. I'll say something later..."
Something bothered Rhys as he thought about the "Corrupted Ones". Something wasn't right... it was the battle with Amelia vs. Rei. Amelia at the end had an "X" wound slashed across her midriff. SLASH wounds--most likely, from the tip of her own spear. That suggested that Rei found a way to disarm her. That also suggested that for at least a moment, he had her right where he wanted her--ready to die.
So then, if he was corrupted, why didn't he finish the job?
But, such questions could wait. Before leaving, he turned to the bard, then stepped back, a bit startled. Whoa... I've seen plenty of laguz on Tellius, but I've never seen a... a... reptile laguz, for lack of a better term.
He shook his head to recover himself. "Sorry. My name's Rhys, by the way. I'm also known as "going back to bed"--as the saying goes, 'I think, therefore I am'."
He smiled politely and headed back downstairs, feeling sleep coming on once again.
Meanwhile, the other two cavaliers, unbeknownst to the others, had dashed off again--this time to find the captain. FEFGA's house, at least, had decent folk. Any and all survivors of the Watch would be safe there.

No one really noticed Oujay as he walked into the room so he just slowly walked over to a seat away from everyone else. After taking slowly steps one by one, he reached the chair and just took a seat in the room. He planned on just listening to what was going on.
Oujay was still shy and quiet around the other people in Fefga's house because he only knew a few of the people here and he wasn't that great of a talker or someone who could make conversations. "I wonder what's going on," he thought as he bent forward and placed his elbows on his knees. He the placed his hands together and were in front of his mouth as he sat there.
He looked out the window to find that it was still dark outside.Oujay had not realized that it was still that early. He yawned a little bit as he turned his head back to face forward from where he was sitting. "I guess I'm still a little tired," he thought as he shook his head a little bit to get himself more awake. "But then I wasn't really able to sleep much anyways."
Music suddenly flowed in the air and captivated Oujay. "What an interesting tune," he thought as his eyes roamed around the room to find the source of the music. His eyes met stopped at a Reptile that seemed to look like he was eighty-feet tall who was playing a guitar. "Whoa," he thought as he had never seen anyone that tall before. He just looked at the reptile in amazement as he continued to play the tune from his guitar.

"Fine," Melethia said,"I'll let her kill you. It saves me the trouble of killing you later." She started to walk out the room, "Though if you change your mind, I've got something that will help you out on your recovery." She closed the door behind her. She sniffed the air for another person. She frowned a little. She didn't want to smell that person's blood. She walked to find out where he was.

Ed closed her eyes to the reptilian musician's song. Night had fallen so quickly and now it was early morning. Ed needed a bed. Her mind was hardly focusing, her balance was a bit shaky... Perhaps it was from riding with Valter on that wyvern of his. Ed blinked a few times, realizing she couldn't go to the library in this state.
She tried to focus on everything at once, but she couldn't. The girl merely smiled as her old friend strummed away with a nice and soothing tune, ambling over to the wall to lean against.
Ed bobbed her head somewhat, both out of fatigue and out of following the song. Then a realization slowly sank in. It etched itself deeper and deeper into her mind as unease welled up in her heart, and it filled against the walls until she snapped her eyes open in a small burst.
"Hold up, what are you saying!? What's Tibarn doing!? What's going on, why have I been hearing about people attacking each other!?" She quickly remembered something. The Asami wench.
"Corruption or something, right? So you're saying Tibarn's been got too!?"
Frankly, Ed had never thought before of facing off with the hawk king. In retrospect, he made a scary foe. She certainly couldn't take on him in any form, not girl, wolf, or bird. Or any of the various other forms she had lying around...somewhere...

Ninian listened to the conversations after watching the little bat messenger fly out the window it had entered. She really did not want to think about the battle that was fast approaching, now that King Tibarn has turned evil as well. yes, he was a formidable ally, but he was also a formidable opponent, and the kind of person you'd want on your side.
Not really paying attention, she didn't see who was playing until after she heard the music start. It wasn't really appropriate for the situation in her mind, but it was a nice, soothing beat. For the first time in a long while, she wanted to dance, even though this wasn't really dancing music. If nothing else, the music cleared her mind.
They needed sleep, all of them did, but that wasn't really feasible at the moment. Sue and Victoria stood the best chance of stopping Tibarn before he killed anyone, so they should be ready to face him at a moment's notice. They ought to have people supporting them. The new archer, Arashe, could use bows--if only Rath was here. Renault and Rhys could also support both Sue and Victoria in healing and, should Victoria fall, hopefully one of the two male bishops could step in and use her tome. Everyone else should sleep while they could; surely it would take Tibarn awhile to arrive?

Melethia had made her way into the living room. "Father Renault." She said. She looked a bit sad.

A familiar voice greeted Renault, and he turned with a relieved and happy smile. "Melethia. . . you're all right." He strode over to the woman, paused, and then hugged her gently, releasing her a moment later to look at her. "Everyone was worried. . . I'm glad that you've come back to us. But. . ." His smile turned to a slight frown at the expression on her face. "What's wrong?"

The entire time Ephraim had been listening in on their converstation. After being woken up by loud noises, it was harder to fall back asleep with people walking in and out of the room. He felt something move from the couch and opened one eye to watch the girl that was on it, sit up and stretch. Ephraim sat forward, scratching the back of his head. He even heard screaming down the hall and one of them sounded like Siegell. The person he saw with Ninian, wasn't probably introduced though but there wasn't time.
He hadn't said a word since they were all woken up and quietly. Ephraim stood up from the floor, stretched a bit and made his way out the door. It brought him to the main lobby once more. He stood for a moment and moved toward the stairs, eyeing the people that were now awake (Though few he actually knew). He reached the top and moved closer toward his room. Once he got there, he closed the door behind him and leaned on the back for support and sank down to the floor. "I don't know anything, I don't know..ANYTHING" for the first time Ephraim actually felt useless to everyone. Its putting him in a situation where if the time came, he actually wouldn't know what to do. "...nothing.."
After a moment he stood up "No, there is something..but I just don't know what.." searching his armor and bag he dug out a few items he had brought with him but that could possibly help him. "Great, everything important is on that damn horse and IT decided to abandon me" a big frusterated by the fact that a majority of his weapons were GONE.
(( sorry for 'depressing' post XP but its really not lol >_>;; if you..look at it from..a different perspective..? >_>;;; ))

Alihi descended the stairs once more, re-entering the main room with a small, content smile. That smile fell almost instantly, though, as she remembered what was going on. The situation that was going on was nothing to be happy about. "... As much as I'd like to start getting people back now, we're all tired. Things have been rather hard recently, for all of us. We are all stressed and worried for our comra-- no, our friends." She said softly to the group, being careful to not wake up anyone who had already fallen asleep.
"As much as it pains me to say this, we should really wait for it to get brighter outside before we act. If we try to do anything now, it'd be unsuccessful. It'd be near impossible to tell who was an ally and who was an enemy. And if we had a light, we might as well just holler and shout that we're there and ready to be attacked." The tactician sat down, leaning back against the side of the couch. "Let's all try to get some rest, even if it's just an hour or two..." She stated, her eyes scanning over the whole group. "... I rather not have to wait for time to pass, for things might change, but honestly... I don't know. I'm afraid to send anyone out right now in such risky conditions."
Alihi sighed lightly, hugging her knees to her chest. "... I don't want to lose any of you. And right now, I'm not confident that I'd make the right choices. I mean, I'm tired, I'm scared..." She pressed her cheek to her knee, some of her brown hair draping over her face. "If I screwed up now, I'd never forgive myself. Some of you would probably trust me with your lives... but right now, I don't think I can hold your lives in my hands."

Ninian nodded to herself as Alihi spoke. Right now, sleep was best, although the dancer didn't know if she could go back to sleep or not, knowing what she did.
"Some of you would probably trust me with your lives... but right now, I don't think I can hold your lives in my hands."
Without thinking, Ninian stepped forward and sat beside Alihi. She wrapped her arms around the tactician.
"You're a wonderful tactician, Miss Alihi," she said softly. "Of course we trust you. Please, do not think of failing--think of what we need to do to ensure that no one else gets hurt. And right now, you need to sleep as much as the rest of us do. I trust that when the time comes, you'll know exactly what we need to do." She looked around at everyone else.
True, they didn't all know each other. Some had only recently arrived and others were recognizable by sight. However, they were still all friends.
"Miss Alihi is right," she told them. "Let's at least try to get a few hours more sleep."

Alihi listened to what the dancer had to say, her eyes watering up with tears. They weren't tears of sorrow like before, however; this time, they were tears of happiness. She hugged the dancer in return, her eyes closed, letting the two tears roll down her cheeks and hit the front of her shirt. "... Thank you, Ninian."
She opened her eyes and looked at the others. "Everyone... hear me out now. There isn't much I can do for you guys at this point, commanding-wise." She sighed lightly. "For some of us, myself included, it'll be hard to face certain people. Some of those people... to some of us, they are our loved ones. Which is why... which is why we have no choice but to fight." The tactician let go of Ninian and stood up. "We have to fight for ourselves, each other... and for the ones that are corrupted. It will be difficult, yes... but we have to bear with the pain, for I'm certain they would do the same if in our position." The tactician gave the group a confident smile.
"With that in mind... all of you, go off and get some rest. Now." Her hands rested on her hips as she gave the group a glare and a frown. A moment later, it softened back into a smile. "If you need me, I'll be in my daughter's room, which is up the stairs and the second door on the right. Just... knock quietly, alright?" With that being said, she headed for the stairs. "... Sleep well, guys. Meet again down here around sunrise, and we'll do more planning then."
Then, she was up the stairs and behind the bedroom door, where she laid on the floor and fell asleep, using her arm as a pillow.

Amelia let the conversation wash over her, a warm wave of words that coaxed into her ears, trying to reach her mind and only getting halfway there. "If we try to do anything now, it'd be unsuccessful... ...I'd rather not have to wait for time to pass, for things to change..." Amelia yawned, rubbed a hand against her face. She was still tired, the blood loss hadn't quite been recovered from yet. And even then, she wasn't sure if they'd even send her to take Tibarn down.
Rei... Tibarn, Nils, Abel... we're going to save you. Just wait for us, please. Don't lose any more of yourself.
She didn't quite think about moving until she finally realized that Ninian was speaking. "Miss Alihi is right. Let's at least try to get a few more hour's sleep."
Amelia rose to her feet, swaying a little. "Ninian and Alihi are right. So, um, unless the house is on fire..." Amelia paused, yawning, "or someone's breaking our door in to attack us, I will be in my room. Please, don't try to wake me up." She smiled slightly to the others, waved, and then went back to her room. Rhys had apparently decided her bed was better than his own, and she found him sleeping in it again. But certainly that was no reason to wake him up; she knew as well as he that nothing was going to happen. Amelia walked over quietly, crawled under the covers, and snuggled back up to Rhys, arms moving comfortably around him until she fell asleep.
Blossom, meanwhile, fell back onto the couch with a sigh. She was too tired to find an empty bed, and the couch was right here. Surely it was just easier to sleep right here, it was comfortable enough. Only other way would be if some nice person would carry her to a bed, but Blossom didn't want to ask. They were all tired, too. How selfish would she sound if she went "I want to get to bed, someone carry me!" Blossom liked to think she was more mature than that.
She curled back up, using her scarf as a make-shift people. "'Night," she murmured. "Few more hours of sleep, good... mmm." Blossom closed her eyes, slowly drifting back into an easy half-sleep, breathing slow and steady against her arm.

Quietly, Ninian rose and walked towards the stairs. She paused to stare at the basement stairs for a moment, then headed back to her room. More from exhaustion that anything else, she fell asleep quickly, wondering if Nils was asleep somewhere safe, or if he was still out in the forest, cold and alone.
