Vix rolled her eyes, but couldn't quite conceal the smile. "Come on," she repeated. "Let's go check on Alex."
She opened the door of the house. "Alex? Naomi? We're back," she called. "Where are you?"

Kray hadn't fallen asleep yet. he still looked up at the stars thinking about what was to come. if this empire was going to come together, they would still need manythings that they did not have. he got up and dusted himself off and walked to where his old house use to be. there wasn't much left but still, he wanted to see what it looked like now. it wasn't much different form when he left. he began walking through the village just looking around. after a bit, he found himself in the middle, where the town squair use to be. then a thought struck him. he walked up to the ruins of a building. after pushing aside some rubble, he found a door made of metal. it was still in good shape. he took out his sword and by using a bit of dark magic, cut through the door. the room was dark but Kray was use to the darkness by now. he didn't need his eyes to see and as he went down into the room, he was glade to sense most of the shelves were left untuched. all the life savings of everyone form the village was here. he had began to solve his money problem. he walked back out into the night air. he wouldn't be able to move the gold now so he put a dark barrier around the room. with this done, he went back to the camp site and layed down again. he tired one last time to read the stars but could not. "what a bunch of bs" he said to himself before turning over. the thought still stuck in his head but it did not bother him too much and he was soon asleep.

Alex called out and said "in the kitchen mom"

"We all get hurt," Naomi replied gently. "We can't be perfect and invincible." She looked up when she heard Vix call out to them. There was no use in repeating Alex when she probably already knew where they were, so she remained silent.

Alex kisses Naomi quickly but affectionatly and smiled at her and said "thanks for bandiging me up"

Naomi immediately turned bright red, but regained her composure almost just as fast. "No problem," she replied softly, cracking a soft smile.

Vix groaned. "Leon, really, must you?" she asked, looking pained. She entered the house and raised a brow at Naomi and Alex. "Appears all is well." Glancing at the bandages on Alex, she sighed and said, "Well. Welcome to war, children."

Leon chuckled "i'm sorry sweetie" he knew if it was Alexa they were talking about he'd be the one cringing
Alex chuckled at him mom "thanks momma maybe if i'm lucky i won't get any more wounds eh?"

GUrrin and Mellit had not done much after Kray left, they fed his troops, did some farming, and went through their daily routines. Eventually, that became bored and decided to look for Kray and Balon. Gurrin was the first out he door, he ran out about twenty yards from the village and punched the ground. As he did this, a huge crater appeared, and he began to walk foreward, a tunnel opening in front of him as he walked, eventualy, the only light was a faint red glow from his sword as he wandered for days at a time. Mellit had chosen to jump in the air and make a set of clouds to ride on. He rode on these, following the faint trail that Gurrin left from underground. After about two days of wandering, Gurrin bumped into something. A wall of dark energy had stopped him from going any further, so he surfaced. Mellit noticed the stop in movement and landed. They look in awe at the detroyed village. Out of instict, Gurrin began to rebuild the village, as Mellit began to grow some tree's to make it a little oasis. After a little while, they both fell asleep, wondereing what had happened to this village.
((Sorry i havent posted in a while, kinda busy, im in Kray's village, but on the egde. Gurrin's surfacing made a lot of noise, and about five houses are built)) smile

"You should be," replied Vix demurely. Then she turned to look at Alex. "Doesn't matter how lucky you are. If that's the only wound you get in a war that's threatening to turn this bad, you're obviously either dead or locked in a basement somewhere," she replied. "Your father and I were lucky, and you remember our wounding stories. The unlucky ones are the ones that end up dead."

SilentShadowDreamer Aura smiled slowly. Her eyes went dark. "Well, I warned you," she all but purred. Her smile took on a sharp edge. Suddenly, she didn't look like herself anymore. "It's not my fault--" A strip of blazing white light slashed between them. It didn't touch Einon, but it came much, much too close for comfort. "That you didn't listen."
Her hands slid free of the ribbon - the end of that strip of light had cut the shadow bonds as if with a knife. Then she stepped towards her brother, still smiling that sharp, oddly frightening smile.

Engela appeared at Mathias's side. Although at first looking amused, her smile quickly faded. "They were sparring," she said quietly. "I don't know what's going on in there now, but that doesn't feel like playfighting to me anymore." She went to the door and put her hand on the knob, intending to open it, then cried out in surprise and jerked her hand back as a shock raced through her body.

Aura stiffened at the sound of her mother's voice. That dark look faded from her eyes and the smile vanished. Her gaze lifted to Einon with a sort of shocked stupor in it. "What was that?" she whispered. "I...I could have..." Whatever she'd meant to say was lost as Engela swept into the room. The woman took one look at her daughter's face and said quietly, "Aura. I think it's time we talked."~ Alexa chuckled. "No one has ever accused me of being a prude," she told Kirra with a lazy smile. "If I minded, I'd have set up a space for myself outside." ((Sorry I took so long. Been working to fix my car.)) Einon gasped at his sister's use of WHITE magic. She had never used that before. He still stood his ground, for all he knew, she had some new tricks. Well, he had been practicing a few new things on his own, including a shadow-cloning spell. Just as he was about to go on the offensive though, his mother burst into the house. "MOM!?"
Mathias stared at his daughter when the door had flown open. He sensed the power welling up inside her. It was that lightning girl's. The same signature and feel of chaos. He followed Engela in and nodded. "Yes Aura, we are talking about this, right now. Einon, take Artemis and give your mother and I some alone time with Aura, please?"
Einon nodded. "Sure dad." He walked over to Artemis and pointed to the woods. "Race ya!" In a flash, Einon had shadow ran out the front door.Artemis nodded to Mathias wanting to be left alone. It was like Leon and Vix and Alexa. When Einon challenged him, his smiled, summoned his staff and created an ice board, racing after Einon.

Alex looked at his mom gravely and said "i guess your right but...yea your right" he sighed and said "so how did the battle turn out?"

Vix smiled faintly. "Once Engela and Mathias came, it turned right around. The invader is gone, and all that's left is the exciting part - cleanup," she teased.

Aura watched her parents warily, unsure of what she was supposed to say. It hadn't been so bad before; they had never noticed. But now the power was spilling out all over the place, and the voice was taking control of her mind more and more often.
She didn't like it, but she didn't know how to make it stop, either.
"Yes," she said softly, looking up at her mother. "Mom, I need help." That simple admission took almost all the strength she had.
Engela's eyes darkened a little. The last time Aura had asked for help had been...she searched her memory. Oh, yes. The time when she'd been five and had nearly blown up the back of the house. Aura was a self-sufficient girl, and if she was asking for help now, something was even more wrong than she'd thought.
Still, she stayed calm. "I know," she said quietly. "Why don't you come sit with us, and tell us what's wrong?"

Mathias felt rather than saw the change in Engela's emotions when their daughter said she needed help. Mathias smiles reassuringly and looks at his daughter as he sends a message to his wife. Do you want me to sit with the two of you, or you wanna have mother/daughter time? I can always finish up the locator spell to find Alexa if you think you two should be alone for this. Or I'll stay and give my strength. You know me, beloved.
