Tsubasa's ear twitched as he heard a light sniffling toward his left and up, he glanced up and saw Pale, as he gently glided toward her, he whispered "What's wrong?"

"I told you once Pale, and I'll tell you again, as long as I live, and this Clan is here, I swear you will never be alone again" Tsubasa said as he landed on the branch next to her.

Tsubasa looked crestfallen, was this who he thought it was, saying these things to Pale? "Pale... I... I don't know what I would do if you left... I only want you to be happy, if you left, I would die, just so you could go on, I would die if you left, you're one of the only things keeping me going right now..." Tsubasa said, biting back tears, he hadn't cried in 6 years, and he wasn't about to break his personal vow now.

Tsubasa glanced up at her, happy that she was beggining to believe him, yet when she said so bluntly "I don't want you to mark me" His face fell, he thought that this meant forever, that she was uninterested. A few tears broke past his barrier, the first tears he had shed in 6 years, as he felt his heart start to slip lower and lower, he choked out "I know, Pale.... I know..." and with that, he gently flew to the ground once again and walked slowly, wanting to comfort Pale so badly, yet needing reassurement himself.

Tsubasa stopped interfering as she desisted, and he turned in place, looking up at her with a cold and hollow stare "What?" He asked, slightly cold "I poured my heart out for you to see, what more would you like?"

Tsubasa planted his feet, looking up to her "Anything you want, Pale, you will have" He said in a monotone voice, trying to win the battle in his mind, trying to quell his doubts by telling himself that Pale didn't mean it that way, but his mind kept coming back to those words "I don't want you to mark me."

Tsubasa looked up at Pale, saying that she wanted him to stay with her, to be with her, and this helped sooth him, although not all the way, he attempted to smile, but it was empty, he still felt quashed, he found happiness in Pale, and she held his heart, she had managed to crush him with those words, and now she was trying to fix it? He searched her eyes, looking for the truth, his mouth slightly open, hurt filling his normally cheerful mask.
