The hair on Lera's back was on end, making her look large and pwerful. Deep growls shook from her throat as she came closer and closer to the humans face. She snapped her teeth in his face, comming only centimeters away from Bran's nose. She paused, her muzzle wrinkled before getting off of him. She had proved her dominance over this measly human. She was alpha and he was omega.

Still ittitable and still in anger-mode Lera plopped down at the cave entrance, wtahcing the storm brew outside. It was lessening now (and about damn time). Lera no longer had a sense of time...if it was day or night...Her body was tensed with her shoulders hunched.

Fleance was a little frightened of mommy n-n;; and kept away from both her and the human. He peered about with his silvery eyes, aquired from his daddy, and looked at the other wolves. He moved to the green wolf he had seen before before looking as the meat and sniffing it catiously. Would it leap out and bite him.....?

Instinct told him to eat it but it look so....big? Instead his puppy-instincts kicked in. His tail curled under his body and he scootched over to kamali, ears back. He whinned and lick at the almost-adolescent's jaws and chin hoping for a regurgitated meal.

((uh oh xD)

(poor kam. having to deal with pups XD) Kamali stared down at the pup, looking frightened. He glanced to Carmen, wondering what he was suposed to do. Did he want his chewed up food? It WAS better then himself eating it, considering he did not much have the stomach for eating too much.

He winced a little, the whole idea was a little icky though.. But he started to spit a little out, he wasnt sure where, so he just spat it onto the floor, swallowing the rest. "Is that what you want?" He stared at the quite handsom, dark puppy.

((hehe X3))

Fleance looked at the partially chewed meat but was hoping for partially digested meat. But anyhoo, he laid down by it and took it under his paws. Fleance had never tasted meat before and he licked it experimentally. It was...pretty good. He tried to chew it a bit, taking a very small bit off and swallowing it. And then a little bit more....

He perfered his mommy's milk :<

And thus Fleance looked at Kamali and trotted back over to his mother, hoping for some dinner. He was affuly hungry.

The cuteness of he little puppy could not keep her from starving her child and thus her body eased and she rolled over onto her side, letting her child nurse. One ear was kep on the human, and one outside.

Ah, too bad for kamali. He staired at the meat and then off toward Fleance. "Guess not.." he coughed and sniffed at the meat, wincing. It couldn't be wasted... He gingerly took it in his jaws, swallowing before letting himself taste it.

He sighed and shifted, tail curling about him as he sat.

Bran rubs his temples trying to steady his nerves. Maybe he should never have come back here, as much as he hates the suits and ties of his mothers world, most things don't try and PHYSICLY take a peice out of you. He can't remember the last time something actually made his hands shake like that. He even physicly outmassess the wolf, and, given the right circumstances, could probably pin her. It's the snapping teeth so close to his face...he suspects, an old night terror he thought had gone away years ago. He didn't scare so easily as an adult, but memories from childhood haunt for a long time, and he has scars he'll likely cary to the end of his days.
"If thats how you feel about jerky... He grumbles inwardly, forgetting even to think in the native language, he's so rattled. Maybe I should send some caviar for your highness. The scarcasm, especially since there's no way he knows of for a wolf to understand him...makes him feel a little better. At least the snow is clearing...but that damned Shewolf is sitting between him and the exit.

Everythought of this human's was understandable to Lera. Not, it was not in wolf tongue or in human tongue but in mindspeak. At first she could sense his fear and for the most part enjoyed it but upon hearing his remarks Lera went into a frenzy.

She suddenly stood, Fleance letting go of the etat he desired, dissapointed that his 'dinner' was interrupted. The she-wolf stalked once again over to the human her face even fiercer than before.

I do not take kindly to your sneer remarks! she roared into his mind as she once again towered over him. She did not want to harm him, for apparently Gaara brought him here, but this skinless creature better damn well know his place!

"Well I don't take ki... YI!" It actually takes an outraged moment to realize he's arguing with a wolf. The fact that it's an irate wolf only just outshone by the fact that it's one he just heard an coherent sentence out of, like someone yelling in his ear...but without his ears having the dubious if reasuring benefit of being involved. "HOLYHELL!"
There's a very patient reasuring voice in the back of his mind insisting that wolves, CLEARLY cannot speak, being a lesser sort of beast and the ansestor of the dog...(the voice of tedious years in a classroom) but it's being wholey ignored for half remembered stories about animals that weren't really animals at all. He almost stands bolt upright *which doesn't do much more for the situation than give him a nice rap on the head from the earthen ceiling, although he stays plastered against the back wall, trying to think of what side his knife sheath is on and if the situation calls for ruining his bow by using it to fend off wolf teeth. He hasn't thought as far as actually possibly attacking the snarling wolf, at the moment not being BITTEN sounds like an exelent plan that will take up a fair amount of energy. Sanity checks and prevention of further attacks can come later...

Lexi straightens bolt upright as Leera charges back for the human. She has absoloutely no idea what just happened between them, but something sure must have. Maybe she should make a mental note not to EVER touch her face while Lera's in this kind of mood...

Lera snarled verbally as the human suddenly jumped up, banging his head on the cave ceiling. Watching grop his sides made lera weary and she narrowed her eyes furthur and stiffened her body, readying for an attack. Lera listened as this creature wailed and shouted, going into a cold sweat. Her tail was pointed her ears foward.

She wanted this creature back on the ground - where he belonged, it was only logical thinking, right? But wolves have a very different way of thinks as opposed to humans. If he were a wolf she would have grabbed his muzzle and forced him down, but in this case there was no muzzle to grab.

Lera snarled and growled, I am the alpha here, get back down on the ground where you belong!!! Her mental tone was forceful and loud, she spoke with every ounce of anger she could muster. Lera's voice would shake his mind and quicken his beat and hopefully put him back on the ground where this omega should be.

He's both frightened and angry, the mix of emotions shaking him badly, as well as the conflict of cultures in his past. He has no idea at all how to respond in this situation, since this has gone well beyond just 'dealing with wolves'. Animals he knows how to deal with, Animals he's comfortable around, you mind their territory, you try and comunicate the right signals to the ones you don't want a fight with, because they're not going to learn your language you have to learn theirs...but this one...this one has...sort of...
So he fires back the first response he can think of that has any relevance on the situation. "I'M NOT A WOLF!" The wolf's roariing voice in his head is rattling in it's self, and combined with raping himself on the head, he sits back down sharply.
I'm not a wolf! Humans don't HAVE alphas!I can beat you if I have to don't make me I don't want to hurt Hakan's packHe doesn't realize it's his thoughts the shewolf can understand, and not his words. This can't even be happening I'm losing my MIND. Hakan, in his mind, equates to an image of, of all people Gaara, particularly Gaara as a puppy...once upon the day. I'm absoloutely losing my mind and I don't have TIME to be doing that because I refuse to get devoured alive by WOLVES

Lera now looked down upon the cowering creature below her. His mind flexed wildly as a mix of emotions stirred togather and then came to a boil. Satisfied with his display of inferiority Lera's voice calmed, but stayed stern. If you are not a wolf then get out of this den, but as long as you are here you must obey the rules, lera thought yet still a snarl was present on her face. It eventually faded as she turned from the obviusly distraught and broken human back to her dark pup who greeted her with a lick to her chin.

She kept a watchful eye on this human as she laid down to let her pup begin to suckle once more, easing her stress level and then looking to the rest of her pack.

*Ripping out a chunk of meat deep in the flesh of the Deer, Carmen listened to Kamali's words with a curiousity in her look. Chewing up the chunk of meat and eventually swallowing it Carmen then proceaded to lick her lips from the semi old blood that the deer has within. Its best when having confined courters and having a limited food supply to only eat enough to sustain yourself. Looking down to the minty green pup she nodded to him.* "Ive never trusted anything other than our kind.... and yet again i only trust a few of our kind. "*Giving him one last nod she decided that she was a little thursty... Leaving the deep corses behind Carmen walked around the rest of the pack and around the human. Giving him a small glare and a snarl as she did. Goinging towards the enterance of the cave Carmen took a quick bite from the snow, it was cold... a shivver went down her spine as she ate a few bites of the snow. She only did this though to make sure she stayed Hydrated. After she wasnt thirsty anymore Carmen looked over towards the grey alpha she-wolf and the dark pup.* "Young ones hungry i see."

Lera washed her young pup over thuroughly while he fed before looking to Carmen. "When isn-OW" she flinched looking to the dark pup who continued to suckle from his mother. "And apprently he's getting his teeth :<" Lera said, ending with an amused chuckle. She curled her body tight, leaving the human to his own devices while she fed her pup and looked around the den to find out where the other two had run off. She gave a soft sigh before resting her head on the grown, a tired expression on her face.

Fleance didn't seem to notice, he just drank and kneeded away while his poor mother laid tired on the ground. Food was good and so was her warmth. The pup would occasionally look to the large black female. She smelled....oddly familiar.

*Carmen couldnt help but give a small cring as Lera gave a slightscream of pain*".... that looks ever so painful...." *Carmen couldnt help but start to think about how hard it must have been for the birth of those pups, She had indded one time saw her mothering giving birth to her younger siblings.... but then again Carmen was very young at that time herself, so her memory was hazy. Sitting down near where the grey she-wolf was Carmen looked over the pack and coundlt help but think about a few of the pasts she has heard from others. She knew about gizmo's, part of Kamali's, part of Haku's... and heard a few others talking once. Everyone here seemed to have dark pasts.... interesting. Very interesting.*

Fear is simmering slowly to an dark, self defensive anger mixes with the emotionless cold, self distancing of the mind attempting to protect it's self from and evaluate this nearly unthinkable situation.
I should have kicked you when you were cocky enough to stand over my legs... His thoughts are roiling with deep rage, which is easier to cope with than fear, if just as focused. He's not a small man, and an full grown human male outweighs a grown wolf by no trifling amount. He broke a mans ribs once, with a kick...a bar fight in the towns...he can't even remember how it got started...but he still remembers the unerving 'crunch' that he felt even through the thick, stiff leather of his boots. He rests a hand on the handle of his skinning knife, rubbing a thumb over the faded leather where it's become worn by his grip. If you're these great, wise spirit beasts my father used to talk about, I could talk to any brawl happy, power hungry human for the same 'wisdom'. He fumes angrily, his good eye directed at the floor, his jaw working. He's spent every moment since entering this den trying to act non confrontational, and it boiled down to being roared at by an wolf that speaks in thoughts...he can now understand his fathers beleif in such animals, but he's also starting to understand why so many cultures would choose to forget about them and simply trod over them. The hospitality of such creatures seems to be of the most miserly sort.
