My apartment is pretty much empty for the long weekend *happy dance*
No more snoring roommate! No more yelling in Hausa, Mandarin or Portuguese at 2 in the morning!
(Yes, seriously, one roommate is Nigerian, one Brazilian, and one is half Chinese, our pantry looks like something the UN would have cooked up)

Going out of town for a whole week. I finally get to visit my dad. I love him so much. Plus... I won't have to be near my mother or her husband for the entire time. It's my dream!

I have the whole weekend off soccer practice!! Everyday school at 6 am, then 2 pm i get off and have practice til 5:30-6. it sucks. Every ******** day i have that entire reutine over and over and over again. I am so happy i have the weekend off!!! 4laugh

More yesterday than today, but at work I had quite a few people tell me I was not only more informative than most people they'd talked to, but that I did a great job explaining things and that I deserve a raise.
I was in high spirits for the rest of the day. biggrin

I started the "official" wedding notebook with the start of the guestlist, playlist (music is freakishly important) and color ideas (plum, green and maybe charcoal). Ceremony ideas fit in there too- someone had the bright idea of suggesting to the minister (also one of his closest friend) he start off with the "Maw-wage" speech from the Princess Bride. sweatdrop

The boat didn't sink! My exstepdad built it and today me, Chris (exstepdad) and Jacob (his nephew) tested out the engine on the lake. I also got to groom Spike. He's a handsome fella now.
