Again, Shadow was absolutely silent.
Fisk paused a moment and thought. ”Come back when you’re feeling up to working, and I’ll have a list for you.” he replied.

”Very well.” Gossamer replied, then turned as if she were about to leave. ”I’ll stop by again when I have the time.” she said, then turned and glanced back at Shadow with a dark grin. ”Nice talking to you again. I do hope we run into each other again.”

Shadow stared at her angrily and quietly for a moment, then a small grin slowly curled up the corner of her mouth. ”So do I.” she replied quietly. ”Say hello to Rosie for me, will you?”
A second later, she had wrapped herself up into her own shadow. Once it dissolved, she was gone.

Gossamer's grin quickly vanished after the Spider spoke and left. Well...she'd get into that later. Right now, perhaps she should go pick up a few other things before heading back. She should still have a few minutes anyway. Without saying anything to Fisk, she vanished herself. EXIT to New York City

Fisk paused a moment with a bit of mild interest after the two women had left. He soon turned his attention back to Typhoid. "Well then, where were we?"

Kane carefully made his way into the building and up to the front desk. He was a bit surprised…looked like there had been something going on here again. Things were pretty crazy lately…suppose the boss could be getting more “guests” than usual.
”Hiya Kane.” the woman at the front desk said, not looking up from her computer screen.
”Hey Olivia. Mr. Fisk still here?”
”Yeah, he’s up in his office. I’d grab a seat for a bit though, he’s having a ’meeting’ with someone. Quite a few people actually. All day. Man’s been busy today.” she replied, her fingers now clacking against her keyboard.
”Alright. Any idea how long he’ll be?”
Olivia shrugged. ”They’ve been coming in on their own invitation I guess. None of them have had appointments. At least not actual appointments. Security’s been mostly positioned down here and up around his office. Ya know, just in case we get anything like we did couple days ago.”
”I haven’t been around here for a while. What happened?” Kane asked.
”Oh, lots.” she replied, still focused on typing. ”It’s been a circus. Caped crusaders and villains alike. Had a clown in here that killed one of attendants. What was his name…Dennis something? Oh, well. Guy was a jerk. Anyway, building’s been taking hits quite a bit. Had the Hulk, Wolverine, Spider-Man, that Strange guy, and a bunch of other heroes. Couple guys packing a lot of guns. One of them was the Punisher. Other guy I’d never seen before. Think he left out the window because he didn’t come back down this way. Had Doc Ock, Scorpion, Mysterio, and a LOT of those symbiote things running around here. Building was really trashed, then the next day it was just good as new. Better even. I mean look at this desk, look how nice this is. Like I said…nuts. Completely nuts. Be glad you haven’t had to come around here. Go ahead and sit, I’ll let the man know you’re here.” she said as she grabbed the phone with one hand and continued finger pecking with the other.
”….um…thanks Olivia.” Kane replied as he turned and headed for a nearby chair. Going to take a while for that all to sink in anyway. Sure, this place was far from normal on a daily basis…but it was never that…um…active. The super hero and villains thing wasn’t that surprising. That was a normal thing actually. But…all of that. Wow.
He paused a moment and glanced around the room. Now that he was actually looking at everything…the place was a bit different. It had a definite upgrade. Not sure how it was possible, but there were more cameras. And…were those columns around the doorway? And an arch?

Kain sat in in the lobby chair, waiting, and dozing off every now an then. Maybe he did hit his head a bit...might have been a better idea to skip out on this stuff.
He started to doze off again, but sobered rather quickly when someone's conversation suddenly caught his ear.
"Some red head wearing black leather pants and one of those red corset things. Wore enough white face make up that she could have passed off as a clown though."
Kain recognized the description. He turned his attention towards two other men that had just walked into the building. More of Kingpin's men, apparently having just returned from a walk around the city.
"Yeah, she was helping out Webb Head and a couple of the other costumes. Wolverine, Captain America....all fighting this monster thing in the middle of the street."
"So what happened?"
"I dunno. They were all fighting, I think she was tossing some spells around, and it got so bad that everyone had to pretty much evacuate the area. Monster was fiery and angry. REALLY angry."
"When was this?" Kain asked, standing from his seat and heading over towards the two men. They couldn't be talking about who he thought they were talking about.
"Oh, it was still going on when we left to come here. It'll probably be on the news within an hour or so." the man replied.
Kain relaxed a bit. Couldn't have been Skuld then. She was at her place when he left. True, he had to meet with someone else, but that wasn't really for that long.
......still.
"What did you say the woman looked like again?"
"Long read hair, white face make up, a red corset looking top, pair of black leather pants....and, I think she had a sword or something at her side." the man replied. "You know who she is?"
Kain paused a moment. "....No." he finally replied. "Doesn't really sound familiar to me. Must be new."
It almost had to be Skuld then. The description fit her at least.
She was helping out the heros...not good. Especially not if Fisk realized that. He'd either suspect her of being an undercover of some sort, or use her right off the bat for more 'super' involved jobs.
"Yo, Kain." Olivia called out from behind her desk. "Boss says he wants to see you now."
Kain looked over at Olivia, took a moment to clear his thoughts, then made his way towards the top floor to see Fisk.

About that time, the power began flickering on and off for a few minutes, then would go out completely and come back on again.

//??? Didn't Kaine go to New York?// [Enter Chris Brooks from Iceberg Lounge]  The smooth black gunman entered Fisk Towers, and he was immediately stopped by security. Mr. Brooks wasn't dismayed, "In my left breast pocket is my conceal carry permit." One of the four security guards reached in Chris's jacket pocket and retreived the permit. The armed officer carefully looked it over and nodded, "This is good; however, I do need to confiscate your weapon." Chris shrugged and kept his tone nice and even, "As long as I get it back when I leave, that's fine. I will need a receipt that you have my weapon." Another officer gave Chris a receipt, then Mr. Brooks handed over his Ruger. After that, went to the receptionist and got directions... When the elevator opened on the top floor, Chris Brooks exited and approached the secretary, "I'm here to see Mr. Fisk about a business matter." Chris flashed the business card for the secretary to see.

The secretary looked at the card, then flipped through a black schedual on her desk. "Mmm...he's not schedualed to see anyone for today. You have a name, hon?" she asked.
