Firestar shrugged, "Well, that's as good a place as any. Let's go."
Firestar began to lift off with both men and the crimson android, when something caught her eye: Angelica saw a small flame in the dark waters of the river, "What's that?"

Hex looked over and saw the flame. "Fire on water? T'ain't never saw nothin' like that before." he growled.

"Let's check it out," with that Firestar lifted all those with her and flew to where the flames just above the waters. Drifting on his back, was a man in a lab coat badly burned from the explosion. The man's face was unrecognizable, flames still adhering to his clothes.
"Holy Mary," was the phrase that escaped Angelica's lips.

"Jumpin' Jehosephat!" Arell and Hex yelped in unison. The poor fool was scarred worse than anything they ever saw in their lives . . . and with Hex in the group that was saying something!

Angelica looked like she was going to be sick, "For the love of God, douse the flames and get him out of the water. I'll support you."
Though she fear they were fishing out a corpse, Firestar couldn't leave him there.

Arell got a bucketful of water and poured it over the poor fellow, dowsing the flames, Hex got the body and drug him onto shore.
"Po' fella's hoit bad. We gotta get 'im t' some'un who kin patch 'im up!" Arell said.

As they looked over the man, Angelica could see that he was still alive! The tall man's face burnt to the point where at some spots bone could be seen and his lips were gone. His eyes were intact, though mercifully closed. His breathing was a bit haggered but steady. His lab coat more or less protected the rest of his body. Still affixed to the coat was metallic name tag that said "Dr. Westlake."
Firestar took a moment to recover from her shock, "My God. Let's get him and Vision over to the hospital you saw in Gotham."

Arell was already ahead of the game. "Hex, gimme a hand, wouldja, che'? He heaviah'n Hell!" the Cajun yelped as Hex came over and slung the doctor over his shoulder with ease.
"Ya done got soft, Cajun. Who's the femme fatal?" Hex asked with a smirk. He knew all this time he was thinking of someone. Why else was he so quick to leave the asylum? They fought their way out of a mine that was about to collapse and almost killed Deathstroke, what was up?
"I ain't 'bout t' tell you, Hex." Arell replied.

Once Hex and Arell had Dr. Westlake and Vision secured, Firestar flew the lot over to the hospital that Arell saw.

Jason had sat and waited, or it seemed like he had. The chair he was previously waiting in swiveled around to reveal a patient, dressed up the crazed clown. He mumbled something, trying to speak with the heavy duct tape over his mouth, a small beep came out and Arkham went up in flames as another huge explosion sky rocketed.

Spidey, who had been trying to get inmates and doctors out for the majority of the fight, jumped out of the way at the last second, barely missing the huge fireball that demolished the Asylum completely. Landing in a nearby tree, he whistled softly. "Da-amn," he mumbled. Then feeling a slight twinge in his spider sense, he started back towards Gotham; not exactly like there was much to do, anymore.

[Three Comrads from ?????? enter Arkham Asylum]
A trio of Comrads arrive on the island and begin to shift through the rubble. After a few minutes, the robots found what they were looking for -- the android remains of Vision.
One of the Comrads sent a message, "Unit 74 to Crimson Dynamo, objective retrieved."
"Confirmed Unit 74. Proceed back to base."
"Acknowledged."
With that, the three Comrads lift off with their prize and leave Arkham Asylum back into the shadows.....
