Some might say... Walter's eyes widened as the frog split in two and Sasha whimpered. "s**t!"he shouted, and leaped down from the tree at the girl , pushing her to the ground as the goo began to exude a purple haze all over the place. They were just barely below the deadly gas, on the ground. "You shouln'a done that." Sasha stayed and the tree and watched, more susceptible to the haze than the resilient half-faun. ...The saddest of pandas

Akane became surprised as the guy as he pushed her down to the ground. She was about to fuss when after a while she saw some goo beginning to look like crap she couldn't understand. "What the hell is that?" she asked the guy, with more of a whisper. "Oh, and sorry for disturbing your slumber back there." she added, looking at the tree where the dragon was.

Some might say... "That be the poisonous gas of a Toxis frog." Walter answered. By this time the gas had all but dispersed and he slowly stood up. "You mad, woman?" He asked her, giving her an incredulous look. She was obviously new here, else she wouldn't have done something so stupid. That gas was the reason the toxis frog had no predators. Sasha hopped down from the tree to Walter and, upon seeing the girl, promptly began to growl.

"Oh..." Akane said, slowly standing up and dusting off the dirt. "No, I'm fine. Thanks for uh, telling me that." she said. Then, as the dragon jumped from the tree towards her master, she gave it a confused and astonished look.

Some might say... "Shush up, Sasha." Walter hissed at her. The raptor hound whimpered and sat, silencing. But she continued to glare at the girl. "The girl's... protective." The half-faun explained. "Where yah from that's left y' so unprepared?" His voice was light and youthful, but had an undertone of one who has lived in the wilderness all his life.

"I'm just new here, and is currently on somewhat 'mission' that I would not like to do." Akane said, rolling her eyes, remembering the king who wanted to help remove the curse on her. She then looked at the dragon. "The dragon looks marvelous, where did you get him, or her?" she asked, "If I may ask." she added.

Some might say... Walter was confused when she said she was doing something she did not want to do. A foreign concept to him. He looked down at his partner. "What, Sasha?" HE asked, "It were in some far off wilderness that I met 'er. Couldn' tell yah where. And she is a hound, not a dragon." The raptor hound looked up at her name, smiling at her master before going back to glaring at the girl. "What's you called?" He asked, "M'name's Walter." ...The saddest of pandas

"Akane." she said, then looked at the hound that she thought was a dragon. "Loyal, eh?" she said, looking at her. She growled a bit, or maybe that's what she heard. "So Walter..." she said, "could you teach me a little bit or two about this place? I feel like a foreigner, which I know I am." she added.

Akane didn't look at the raptor again, who Walter is calling Sasha. She didn't want to look because she knew the raptor didn't want to meet her or something. "So, is that a yes or...?" she asked.

"Not anywhere near here, I don't think." Walter replied. "The closest source of food would be in my backpack." He gestured at the pack, which was full of some jerky and a small amount of fresh meat which he hoped to cook soon before it began to get.... less fresh.

"Oh okay." Akane said. Well, at least it's better than weird food in an anonymous town. she thought. "Do we need to start a fire?" she asked, she looked at the fresh meat and thought it needed to be cooked first.

Some might say... "Unless yeh like raw meat." Walter replied with a chuckle. He put the pack down and opened up a pocket which was stocked with fire wood. H was almost out.
