Kat sat up in her bed and looked at the new guy, "So your the newb huh? Nice to meet you. I'm not usually like this but mum and me got in a fight and well I'm still fuming. Your Cai right? Mum said one of her friends were sending their kid here. You a mutant or a human?" She fiddled with her long hair while looking at him in the dark, she couldn't really see him that well but she didn't mind, she had her room memorized. Even after her old roommate left school.

Ah, so she was going to talk. Alright then, he supposed getting to know his roommate was the thing to do right now then. He was probably going to have to live with her for the duration of his stay here, after all. He had to wonder though...why did his parents plan to send him here, even all those years ago?
"Ah...I wouldn't know much about my parents knowing yours...all I know about this place is what the lawyer told me..."
Of course then there was the other question, and one that would help him seem normal. Even if other people here were a bit strange, well, that was no reason to stop hiding what he could do.
"And mutants? What do you mean by that? I mean I saw a wolf-man downstairs, so obviously there's more to this school than I thought, but..."
Now if only the room were brighter, so he could get a better glimpse at her than what he'd gotten before

♠Dismantle the ground they stand on ♠Give power a name ♠You’ve traveled the path of slander ♠Now bury the shame Conall Conall spun around and caught his key, stuffing it back into his pocket. He then gave a small wave an nod in Cai's direction. It took him a moment to remember what it was he was going to do, but his growling stomach kindly gave him a reminder. Even from where he stood, he could smell the food from the cafeteria, promising to hush his apparently restless stomach.
♠Shed rejection ♠Learn to follow the wolves

Akido pulled the brownie from the machine completely oblivious to the conversation around her as she headed back to her table taking a bit of steak. It was at least 12 oz and it was rare, her favorite type. Yawning again she didn't feel as rested as she had a few minutes ago but she didn't want to sleep as she let her mind wander while picking apart the meal occasionally popping a piece of steak into her mouth. Since no one had seen her except for Marcus she took that opportunity to change her glamour. Akido's new form better matched her natural form that she hid so well. Playing with her hair since it was now the length of her natural hair, she missed the nights back home. Starting to pick at the brownie she knew man made food would make her ill but was too lost in thought to care.

Cole reached up and grabbed Luna's wrist lightly. "I got rest," he said, sitting up again. He bent his knees up and rested one of his arms on his knee. "My body's used to not getting much sleep, so what I got for now is fine. If you want to do something with me, I can get dressed again." He shrugged, glancing over at the wall. "It's more fun than sleeping..." Damian stared down at Evening as she hugged him, a bit surprised still at her reactions. He slowly reached down and patted her on the back. "Yes, it's alright. I'm sure that both of them understood and forgave you," he said. He didn't want her to cry or to be upset. In fact, it was rather upsetting for himself, but he had to remind himself that she was pregnant. Pregnancy did odd things to women.... "And maybe. It would probably be best," he said, glancing over at his bed. Stretching his arms above his head and letting out a big yawn, a young man walked out of his assigned bedroom. As soon as his mouth retracted to his original size, he scratched the back of his head lightly. "Gooood morning," he said, mostly to himself since he wasn't really with anyone. "Or evening. Whichever it happens to be at this moment." He then turned and began walking down the hall towards the lobby. His odd sleeping pattern wasn't unusual for him. He was an unusual person, after all. He stepped down the hall with his untied shoes, his shoe laces flopping on the floor as he walked. He pulled at the sleeve of his shirt as he came to the lobby.

The female wasn't aware she passed her roommate on the way back to the dorms. She was trying to think of an excuse to give her father. She walked up the steps and to her dorm unlocking it and walking in. "Hm..." She turned the television on. "Hi yea I called my teacher a...no that wouldn't work. What about...nah..." She thought while looking at the moving images, not really noticing what they were. Victoria was going to kill herself over this she was sure.

It took her a moment to realize that he had started the tour again. By the time she did, she had to run to catch up with him again. Almost instantly, all traces of embarrassment were replaced with eager excitment.
"Hot springs??" she asked. "I've never seen a real hot springs." she exclaimed, turning to watch where they were going. "Are they natural or heated manually?" she asked they walked.

She gave him a weird look, "Mutants ya know, people who can do things humans can't. I'm a mutant as is my mother and most of the people here. The mutants overrule the humans 2 to 1 around here. I can control the earth, so I'm going to guess that your human because most mutants don't question it." She shrugged and laid back down, "If you can't see the light switch is next to the door. I don't mind, I've had a lot of roommates and their all different types of people."
Luna gave him a soft smile, it was getting to midnight now, "You sure? I'd love that." She turned to face him, not fighting his hand, "I'll be outside your door so you can get dressed." She freed herself at that point and did exactly that, went out the dorm room door and waited till he showed up.
Evening nodded and climbed under her sheets, "My cat would sleep for about 14 hours a day, so I know you need some rest and I do too." It didn't take her long to fall asleep once her head hit the pillow, she was exhausted from all the stuff she'd been doing.

The young man with the untied shoes walked farther into the lobby. He glanced into the cafeteria and spotted a girl he didn't recognize. She was eating by herself, so he thought he'd drop by and say 'hello'. In stead of the normal 'walk over and wave' approach, he decided to teleport. His body disappeared and reappeared in the seat directly across from her in a split second. The red bits of his hair had fallen farther into his face as his body stopped moving and a friendly smile was planted firmly on his face. "Hello," he said, leaning his elbows against the table and staring at her. "How are you this fine evening?" ------------------------------ Damian smiled and nodded. He let out a small yawn before standing back up. He walked to the head of his bed and went to turn the covers back when he had a better idea. He hopped onto the blankets and shifted back into his cat form. He found a nice spot right in the middle of his bed, next to the pillows, and began to circle around a bit, making a little indent for himself. Satisfied, he laid down and closed his eyes, falling asleep quickly. ------------------------------ Cole nodded and stood from his bed. He didn't bother to fix the blankets or covers since he really didn't care if it looked messy. It would look messy again the next time he used it. He went to one of the drawers he kept his things in and pulled it out, grabbing hold of a white tee-shirt. He then grabbed a black jacket with many pockets and threw it onto his bed. He grabbed a plain pair of pants and quickly changed into them. He walked to his door and locked it before opening it. He then shifted into a shadow and walked through the door, right next to Luna. He shifted back to his normal form and smiled at her. "Ready," he said. ------------------------------ Logan nodded his head as he walked, a smile planted on his face. "They're perfectly natural," he said as he walked on. He was glad she seemed to elated by the fact that they had hot springs. He had worked there long enough that it was a perfectly natural thing to have around, so he had forgotten that they weren't all that common. Especially among schools.

"Huh. Well, there's definitely more to this school than I'd thought, then."
With this, Cai would flop down onto his bed, marveling in how big it was. For that matter, the quality too. After years of sleeping on an old used mattress, that had been falling apart, this was luxury. not that his Uncle had been unable to afford a new bed for him...the man had just never cared enough to do so. Even if it was only until he graduated, this was going to be the good life.
"Anyways, you probably want to sleep, so we'll do proper introductions or whatever in the morning."
And with that, Cai rolled towards the wall...and at least tried to go to sleep. As it was, his mind was reeling. People with powers. Like him. Should he really try hiding things? What would happen if he did and they found out later? For that matter, with powers like his, what would they think if he did tell them? Being able to manipulate earth was one thing. So was being a wolf-man. Being able to go invisible, or walk through people and walls...that was another. It was a risk to secrets...and people never liked that.

Akido was picking M&M's off her brownie slipping one into her mouth when a voice sounded from across the table. Looking up slowly with large doe like eyes the color of honey, for a moment she had thought it had been her imagination but proof was sitting across from her that it was a person. Returning the smile while cursing herself inside for not noticing the difference between her thoughts and what was real, mistakes like that could get you killed. "I suppose a little to lost in thought. I didn't even hear you coming." She smiled wryly glad to find that he seemed to have some since of manners as she quoted without thinking, "Where the wave of moonlight glosses The dim gray sands with light, Far off by furthest Rosses We foot it all the night." Shaking her head to clear her mind, "Sorry." she said lightly, "How are you?"

The boy's smile widened at her words, lacing his fingers between each other as he leaned farther forward in his seat. "What a lovely quote," he commented, crossing his feet underneath the seat he was sitting in. "And I am doing quite well. Just woke up, actually." He glanced away behind her for a short moment at where he had been standing before looking back to her. He leaned back just enough to take the weight of his chin off of his hands. He pulled one hand out and held it out across the table for her in greeting. "My name is Dmitri. Dmitri Bershadensky and I'm a teleporter. That's why you didn't hear me coming." As he spoke his name and ability, his accent began to slip through in his voice. He had moved to the school a few years prior from Russia and had learned English quite fluently, but it was difficult for him to hide his accent sometimes. He didn't even bother most of the time anymore.

Her smile broadened as he commented on the quote. Yeat's was one of her favorite authors, the quote was from The Stolen Child, about her people but he would never know that. "I'm Akido Watson. It's a pleasure to meet you." She meant that. So many people in the outside world were rude and obnoxious but this was the third decent person she had met since coming to this school. Hearing the slip of his accent her eyes turned curious as she tried to place it. Akido had traveled a lot and it sounded familiar. Taking his hand, "I've never met a teleporter before, it sounds like an amazing ability." Her race came with a wide range of abilities that could develop but that had never been one and she was curious now.

Dmitri nodded his head lightly before shrugging. "Yeah, I guess," he said, trying to be modest. "I have to admit, it's pretty fun." His mind wandered for a short moment about his time before entering the school. He enjoyed playing tricks on his family and friends, though they quickly learned his methods. It was much more fun going to a school where not many people knew him or his abilities. He quickly brought himself back to reality. He didn't want to be rude to Akido, a girl he had just met. "So are you new here?" he asked her, not sure if he had just not seen her before or if she was new.

Akido nodded, "I just got here earlier today. Decided I should finnally get a bite to eat." Looking down at her plate she sighed with a smile having mostly just managed to eat a bit of steak and just push the rest of it around the plate. So much for eating. She just hadn't felt like it lately. Looking back to him, "So how about you? Have you been here long?" Poking her brownie with the fork the poor thing was being mutilated while she crossed her legs in the chair watching him.
