charamath About how long were the books? I'm thinking that may have something to do with it. I haven't touched a book with less then 350 pages since the fourth grade. Around 350, some more,some less.

(which could be bad, because I already have massive collections from everything involving Drizzt in the Dark Elf series, to the Dragonlance and the Dragon Riders of Pern series to the loveable Redwall books- I collect hardcovers!)

Considering that the Discworld series is very large, you are right. They don't center around anyone as a whole .... well, aside from the world itself that is. Although, there is at least one recurring character, Death! As in the person. He is a very likable character, actually.

charamath I have 1GB of ram, and 2 GHz. My processor is...a AMD Athlon....(I'm just listing what I'm finding under 'my computer' here)...and my graphics card is a Radeon X1600. Does that help?
graphics card is definitly ok (comparable with a Ge-Force 7 series)!!
so...if all this isn't enough, then what's you problem? maybe you've got too much background programs excecuting...or else your procesor isn't enough(but i doubt that)...what about motherboard?
ummm...i think jeff did a good job with your pc, so if pc is ok, then connection isn't enough...
hey, i don't think you seriously lag when playing a MMO, right? i mean, just a few ticks once in a while and maybe slowing down in battle, but even i manage with all that!

oh, so you want to enter arena?...hmmmi think yours is nice, though yellowish tone isn't favorable...but it's well distributed, so i guess it's fine...
leave prisim...it's ok... ^^

It drastically helped, but there's still lag. I can't get any faster internet then this where I am, so improvements to the computer are about all I can do.
