Sweat dripped down my forehead and trickled down my face. "Hello?" I called in a voice I hadn't used since I was at least three. "Please," I cried out, "is anyone there? Please!" I couldn't go through the tunnel any longer, it was dark with confusing turns which lead to more tunnel and more confusing turns, and so on. "Anyone!" This time I yelled, long and loud, harder than I ever had. I didn't care who it was that heard me, I just needed someone to. Miss Alexia had known the way through, she probably had gotten them out with ease. "PLEASE!" I sobbed, leaning my back on the dirt wall. I curled up into a ball, wishing for an autumn breeze or a raindrop or the sound of my sister cooing me to sleep in her voice as sweet as honey. I cried out for day or night or time or life, none of which I was sure existed any longer.

"I am not dead yet!" I shouted at the invisible crowd that surrounded me; a single blindfold keeping me from memorizing each of their features. I pulled at the chains that restrained me to the cold wall and from kinding Dusk and where may have wandered off to.
"Silence!" the old man, who from his tone alone I could tell was the head of the pack. "You are not to speak nor move from this very spot." With that a parade of shoot steps began to grow distant and a slam of a door quickly followed. Anger overcame me as I pulled once more at the only thing that kept me from finding Dusk. "It was my fault, and my fault alone that she had lost all of her memories. Though at the time it seemed like it was a good idea. She was devastated that she had left her sister without more than a single thought. However, I knew it was too soon to return, at least not with all of those men in the house. We were lucky to house as many as we did, there was hardly any more room for them as well. " I hung my head down and awaited for the next morning to come.

Mallory was not certain how long he had slept, but he felt instantly awake when Lance dragged him to his feet. The effect of the blood had kicked in during his short rest and he was ready to keep running. He paused only to glance behind him for his father.

Alphonse had risen to his feet and immediately started toward Mallory. Just as the boy turned, Alphonse reached out and grasped his shoulder. He gave it a small squeeze and suppressed the desire to speak words of reassurance. He was entirely annoyed with being ordered about, but he would still obey for both their safety. He was surprised to see Mallory smile when he glanced at his face.

Mallory smiled at Franky a bit nervously, but did not speak. He could not be certain it was safe to yet. They had not stopped in one of the rooms like before, so he was fairly certain they would not be stopped for very long. Where would they wind up? Mallory had no clue where they were going, but that was probably just as well.

[sorry i haven't posted lately ya'll... real life chewed me up for lunch and spit me back out. i will try to keep up, but if i keep lagging behind i feel it might be best for the group if i dropped out.... please let me know what you guys want and maybe send me an update of what is going on?]

Franky wraps his arm around Mallory's shoulder. "No worries, the Franky is here to save the day." He grinned, kissed Mallory's cheek and went skipping off. Random behavior.

As the young girl took me into her arms the confusion held in my mind only grew. My head tilted slightly to the side. Was Dusk my name? If so how would this lost soul know? As her questions about where I had been flowed out they seemed to jumble together. I placed my hands over my ears and backed away from her once her speaking ceased. A sharp pain ran across from my forehead to just above the back of my neck. A shriek escaped my mouth as I collapsed onto the floor. Images raced through my mind, however I couldn't hold onto one long enough to know what it meant. A small room, possibly 6'x6', surrounded me. It was lit only by a small candle in the far corner. I remembered hearing a series of clicks then suddenly being dragged through narrow halls. I faintly remembered the name, Dusk, being shouted my a male's voice from a small distance away. I flickered back to reality, and opened my eyes slowly. I was still in the tunnel and the girl was still looking at me. I sensed an odd type of feeling that I couldn't explain in words, almost as if I needed to warn someone of something. I glanced up at her and spoke simply as my voice cracked slightly, " I have to warn people of them."

(Sorry for my sudden return as well as the sudden absence.)

Mallory hardly knew how to react to Franky's actions other than to laugh softly and shake his head.

"Such strange friends you have." Alphonse murmurs with amusement tinging his low voice. "Come now, Mallory. We are going again." The two followed Lexi to where she ran into Dawn and Dusk. Had he just heard a shriek? Alphonse thought, but the girls were very much alone; there was no assailant in sight.

"Where is Nathaniel?" Mallory wondered aloud, though under his breath. He had surely thought the man would be with Dusk.
