Daisuke watched in fascination, totally enthralled. The light, from his angle, caught on Reznik's collar, and as Daisuke watched, he noticed that the number was lighter than before. He stared until Reznik began to fall. Crying out slightly, Daisuke flitted up and caught him, landing lightly on the ground.
Touching Reznik's collar lightly, Daisuke pulled it back gently. He had thought right: the number that was there was gone. Cocking an eyebrow, Daisuke set Reznik down gently.
He looked down on the sleeping Arrancar and smiled slightly. Reznik was totally different now, back to his old self. This seemed to remind Daisuke of something...
"Baka," he said, laughing softly. He reached up to his mask and pulled. It faded in black and white smoke. When it faded, Daisuke felt his injuries more.
He blacked out, falling sideways, near Reznik.

((Sorry to hear that, Reiki, good luck with everything.
And it’s fine by me if you do that

Now, for the WALL O' TEXT!))

Reznik lay limp on the ground, his mouth was slightly open and a slick trail of drool made it's way down the side of his mouth. He was snoring rather loudly as he slumbered his dreamless slumber.
However, the dreams soon came, and with those dreams came memories, memories of when Reznik was still alive...

I'm ((Reznik)) walking down dirt road, alone and smiling brightly, glad just to be alive.
The sky is clear, the air is crisp, and the birds are singing, it's a great day.

I soon came across a small playground surrounded by a short, wooden fence with crooked boards. Several children populated the playground, jumping, climbing, and playing around.
One of the children, a small girl with strait blonde hair, saw me and a huge smile lit her face up, "Reznik!" she yelled, running towards me and jumping into my arms as I hopped the fence and knelt down to be on her level.

I couldn't remember her name, or her relation to me, was she my little sister, or just an adoring child? I couldn't remember, but I do remember, I was loved by her and the other children, and I loved them.

“Rez!” one of the children squealed, it was a young boy, his messy brown hair covering his face, he was smiling and tugging at Reznik’s shirt.

“Hey there!” I said, smiling just as brightly, “Have you seen…” the name I mentioned seemed to fade into nothingness, though the boy seemed to hear perfectly.

“No,” he said, “I think he’s on his way though.”

“Excellent! I haven’t seen him in a while.” I said, my smile widening. The children dragged me away to play with them, I went without complaint and entertained the children with tricks, jokes, and games. I was having a great time.

After about half an hour, I turned and saw a man approaching. A smile broke out on my face, “…” I exclaimed, the name once again fleeing from my memory. I couldn’t see any details of the man, only a faint silhouette. I could, however, discern a few things, for one, he was a few years older than me, and another, he seemed familiar, like I had seen him recently, not in this dream, but somewhere else, somewhere more recent…

I embraced the man and the children seemed hesitant at first but quickly welcomed him to play with and he did so a little reluctantly.

The day was great and dusk was quickly approaching. One of the younger boys had wandered from the rest, and a group of two or three teenage punks approached him and began to harass the poor child.

I saw this and was immediately by the boy, the man from earlier at my side, “You better knock that off!” I ordered.
One of the punks laughed at me and got in my face, “Who’s gonna make us? You?” he said, mockingly.

I felt anger flush to my cheeks and the man’s hand found its way to my shoulder. I looked to him and made eye-contact before nodding a knowing nod, one that he promptly returned,
I can’t get angry… I remember myself thinking, Not now, not here in front of these kids, they look up to me…I have to keep my cool I took a deep breath in an attempt to remain calm.

The man spoke for me, “Please, we can settle this peacefully.” He said, pulling out several bills, “Just take the money and leave, there’s no need to fight.

I grinned at his proposal, I was never one to pick fights, but I’ve always had a short fuse when it came to protecting my friends. I’m not sure, but I think this man helped me control my anger so I wouldn’t get in trouble.

The punk scoffed at the money, “How ‘bout we just kick your asses and take the money?” he said, quickly followed by a straight, right punch for the man. The man grabbed his thrusting arm and threw him over his shoulder. I took action and lunged at the other thug, swinging a left fist for his stomach. It connected and the man doubled over.

The third punk turned his attention away from the boy and to the man and me. He reached into his jacket and pulled out a small knife and took a stepped towards us. Before the punk could do anything, the boy kicked him in the crotch from behind. The man fell to the ground, clutching his pelvis.

The other two found their way to their feet and helped the last punk up. They shot a hateful glare at me and the man before slowly retreating, “We’ll make you pay…” swore on of them, though I quickly let this leave my mind.

I knelt down to the boy and ruffled his black hair, “Are you alright?” I asked and he nodded, “Good, now go play, me and … have to go now.” I said, standing.

There were cries of protest from the children as they all surrounded me with a large group up, the dragged the man in and included him as well, “Sorry,” I said, smiling consolingly, “I’ll be back tomorrow, I promise.”

With that, I returned home, the man and me going our separate ways for now. The rest of that night was a blur; all I remember is blinding pain in my head.

My memory skipped, the next thing I saw after the night was blurs was the playground again, only this time, many of the kids were hurt, sprawled across the playground, some bleeding and others not moving, it was almost dawn. I looked down and realized that I was on top of a child, the boy the man and me had helped earlier. And then, only then, did I realize my fist was raised, ready to strike the boy, his eyes were looking up at me, full of tears and pleading for mercy.

My eyes, wide with amazement, suddenly burst into tear as I dropped my upraised hand to my side. I got off the boy and began to sob. After a moment, I wiped the tears from my eyes, though it was only temporary. I looked to the boy as he glared at me with a mix of emotions, shock, terror, love, hate, confusion. His eyes were watery and the left was bruised and swollen, “D…did I…do this? Was this…was this me?!” I asked, my voice cracking.

The boy’s lower lip began to quiver as he slowly nodded. I suddenly burst out in tear again and rolled to my knees, looking into the boy’s teary eyes with my own, “Please…please! Forgive me…it wasn’t me! I would never do this!” I pleaded, I clasped the boy’s shoulders gently, “I’m so sorry…”

A sharp pain suddenly stabbed between my shoulder blades and both my eyes and the boy’s eyes widened with shock. I slowly turned, feeling a warmth trickle down my back. I saw the punks from earlier, they looked like they were laughing, but I couldn’t hear anything, my vision blurred and lost all color as I fell to my back. As I lay there, I saw the boy looking down at me with those eyes, those confused, terrified eyes.

He was saying something, I heard it, he said it over and over again but I couldn’t understand. The last thing I saw was a boot coming down on the boy’s head as it begins to rain, and then darkness…

((Very nice! I'll attempt it as well. Here we go...))

Daisuke lay still, completely blacked out from the extent of his injuries. His hand lay only a few inches from Reznik's foot. Unconsciously, one of Daisuke's fingers twitched towards him before falling still.

I'm reading a book. The words were nothing more than blurs to me, but somehow I knew it was a good one.
I glanced at the clock. I had somewhere to be, although I didn't remember where. Standing, I let my feet guide me. Clearly, I knew where I was going.
I found myself walking through a quiet part of town. The streets were either gravel or dirt. On my left was a broken wooden fence, protecting a small playground. I looked over the fence to see several children playing with a man. I made my way to the gate and called out to him. I couldn't hear what I said.
He turned, smiled, and invited me to play with the children. I decided it couldn't hurt and came along. We had a great time for the rest of the day.
Then these punks came along. I saw them walking and figured I'd ignore them, but they came in and started picking on one of the children. My friend (for that's who he had to be) instantly was at the boy's side. I followed a little slower.
They refused to leave the child alone. Knowing my friend's temper somehow, I reached out to calm him down. I pulled a small roll of bills from my pocket and offered it to them if they would just leave. Of course, they figured they would beat us up and take the money.
I had to show them that that was a bad idea. I flipped the first one and the second was decked soon after. I watched in amusement as the little boy took down the last thug.
After a bit, I walked with my friend part of the way home. We split ways eventually, and I headed to my place.
The next day, I found myself walking again. I was passing by the playground as it began to rain. Sighing, I sped up, thinking I would just head home and stay dry. I had my head down to keep my vision clear, and that was how I saw it.
Blood. Running with the rain, right into the gutter.
Looking around, I could barely make out three forms in the falling rain. They were the thugs from the previous day! I took a step towards them, then saw the rest of the bodies. The children! And...was that...?
My friend!
Flying into a rage, I attacked the thugs, punching and kicking and delivering justice. Unfortunately, they were better prepared this time.
After knocking one unconscious and breaking the arm of the other, I heard a loud bang. I was half-turning when I felt a sharp pain just above my waist. The last thug held a smoking gun and had a look of smug satisfaction. I looked down. Blood was pouring out of my side.
I tried to reach out and stop the blood, but for some reason I couldn't. In a moment of clarity, I realized: the bullet had punctured my spine. I fell to the ground and felt my life drain away.
Flash.
I was standing in a dark doorway, looking out. On the streets, a huge brawl was underway; Shinigami, Arrancars, Hollows, even a few Vizards. I myself was a Vizard, but I wanted no part in the fighting. It was pointless!
He watched as the Espada and the Squad Captains faced off. The Espada were being pushed back, but one in particular was holding his own.
Thrashing wildly and attacking any who were within range, that lone Espada held off 3 of the Gotei Thirteen's Captains. I caught a glimpse of the number on his neck as he spun: 1.
My Sensei, an old Vizard who was as peaceful as me, went down. He felt it was his duty to stop the fighting that was happening just outside his door. I pleaded with him to stay, to keep out of the fighting, but he told me that that was the way of the coward, and would accomplish nothing. He went down.
He made it into the clearing that the battling forces had made. He deftly fended off both an Espada and a Captain before raising a hand to stop the fighting. Everyone but the wild Espada stopped to look. He opened his mouth to speak.
The wild Espada fired a cero at the Hollows behind him. The Squad Lieutenants and other seats leaped into action, cutting down Arrancars. Even as the battle picked up in more frenzy, I noticed something: no one approached the Espada 1. He was an outcast.
My master was lost in the fighting. I don't know if it was a Shinigami or an Arrancar that killed him. And it doesn't matter. I'm going to find all of them and bring them to justice.
Even now, though...I see him. The lone Espada, a castaway even as he stood among his own people. He was alone.
Just like me.

Blackness.

((Thanks,
It's great! I like it!))

Reznik awoke with a start. His eyes were wide as he stared at the sky. He slowly sat up and wiped the drool from his cheek. As he sat up, the pain in his body reawakened and he winced. A hand found it's way to his head. It was throbbing, but the pain was leaving, either that, or it was being overwhelmed by other pains, particularly the scorch marks on his body and a dull ache in his chest.
He looked down to his sternum, where the number "3" resided. Reznik look beside him to find Daisuke, laying still. A sudden flash of horror filled his heart as he remember his dream, Oh, God! Did I do this? he wondered, now kneeling over Daisuke's unconscious body. His eyes became moist, "Wake up Daisuke!" he pleaded, "I didn't do this! I would never do this, I couldn't do this." he said quietly, hoping Daisuke would awaken.

Reznik forced a smile, "Hey, Daisuke, what're doing sleeping?" he asked, he seemed to be in denial about anything happening.

Myia fell backwords on to the ground. "Ow.." She gritted her teeth. Syama helped Myia get out. "Thank Syama." She said using Syamasuni to keep her on her feet. "Heal as much as you can Syama."

Syama nodded her head and did as told. She started to heal the wound.

Reznik flushed for a moment but quickly fought it and raised an eyebrow, "No, not really, why?" he paused for a moment before speaking again, "Daisuke...did I...did I hurt anyone?" he asked, a dreadful look on his face.

Daisuke flapped a hand. "Chill out, you're fine. No one got hurt." He pushed himself up with a grimace. "Well, not seriously, anyways."
