It took only a few hours, when it should have taken at least two days to reach the realm of the Faerie. It was a thick forest that was heavily guarded by magic, but at the King's arrival, all were let in, Tuin leading them to a section of the forest that was built especially for elven visitors. Once Eve had been placed in the bed, the faerie pushed everyone out the room and shut the door, beginning their healing that would take several hours still.

Vadász glanced up when she came back in, his hand taking hers once she sat down. He tilted his head just a little in thought, about to answer when he sighed. "Not very... Dammit Sarah..." He muttered under his breath, starting to walk out the door when he was promptly glomped by a girl whom seemed somehow related, her wings folding into her back and vanishing. "Oof!" He hit the ground, seeming a bit dizzy while the girl climbed off."Hiyah Vadász! Been a while brother." She said with a grin, helping him get up. Turning her attention then to Cori, she waved, almost skipping in her walk as she approached her, holding out a hand. "You must be his new interest! I'm Priya his sister. It's a pleasure, I never thought he'd move on." She said with a smile, having to dance away to dodge a slap from her brother."Dammit Priya..." He muttered, suddenly catching a kick aimed at his head, twisting the leg around as he countered. He pulled his cousin in, dropping her to the floor with a huff. "What the hell do you two want? Am I allowed no peace?" He seemed exasperated, brushing his burgundy hair back.Sarah growled as she hit the ground, pushing herself up grudgingly. She was definitely more sour noted than Priya, folding her arms over her chest. "Sorry about before." She muttered to Cori, leaning against a wall, her wings also vanishing from sight. Leena remained off to the side, praying for Eve's quick recovery. She just let the blood on her robes gather above her palm, watching it vanish from sight. Oh Roran will throw a fit.... Dammit... she knew this, sighing heavily as she glanced off towards where they had taken her. She didn't quite feel right in this spot reserved for elven visitors, she was only a half-elf after all... Oh well, that could be ignored, as always, duty was first. Her feelings didn't count for anything in her opinion. She knew that they should mean more to her, but they never would.

"But it's impossible to flank them from that position!" Lyn scowled at Roran. "I don't see how anyo-" Looking to her princess, she nodded. "Of course, milady." Lyn bowed, turning back to Roran to find him gone.
The moment Eve approached, Roran stepped away. He didn't have the patience for that at the moment. He did hear the screech of the hawks though, walking over to where they landed, seeing Kantern on his rock. Never get involved unless invited. He smirked a bit, watching as the events unfolded. Once he got to Kantern's side, he spoke softly. "So what happened?"
Kantern let out a deep sigh. "The quick sum up is that the hawk got attacked, that lady we were with in Aduial healed him but then left to help the elf princess, and now the two lovebirds are walking off."
Roran frowned. "What happened to Eve?"
Kantern looked to Roran now. "the elf princess? She's bleeding somewhere. But that wizard-elf went to help her."
Roran sighed. Shaking his head, he motioned it after Cori. "We need o follow them. That hawk is becoming trouble." He smirked at the werewolf. "We're not harming him though."
It didn't take long to get there. He heard the commotion as the two other hawks entered. Hearing Leena's pet's question, he walked in. "Of course you're not allowed peace." Watching Kantern walk up to the hawk and take a seat next to him, Roran stayed standing.
Kantern walked to the male hawk, circling in place before sitting and looking him in the eyes. Without looking away, his hand rose with a vial. "Potion. It'll help you heal quicker, and it isn't painful. You know, that was the most difficult part about this potion. Getting it to taste like grapes and to make it not hurt. All it toook was some daisey petals." Kantern was disregarding everyone else in the room. "Now, about you staying hidden. I don't know what's worse. When you're a hawk, werepeople see you from miles away. Your scent doesn't help you much either. Then, of course, your human form makes the people who are up close recognize you on the spot. You need help." He pulled out a small box now. Opening it, more potions were inside, all different colors. "Okay, so here's what we've got, free of charge. The potions taste good, but also change your scent. For instance, this one is red and tastes like strawberries. At the same time, you get the scent of a fox." He gripped a brown one, handing it to him as well. "This one is chocolate. You'll smell like a real hawk rather than a wereperson. It'll help a lot." As abruptly as he walked in and sat, Kantern rose, his potions gone again. Walking out, he knew Roran would soon follow.
Roran stood and twiddled his thumbs until Kantern walked out. "Just to let you know," he eyed Cori, "No fires tonight. We don't want to alert people. Especially with Eve having been attacked already." He turned away then, too, walking out once more.
Catching up to the werewolf, he chuckled. "How blunt were you?"
Kantern looked at ROran from the corner of his eye. "Blunt doesn't even describe that. I gave him the potion, explained, and left." Kantern's smirk wasn't fading. Finally it did as he took a whiff of the air. "The elf princess and the wizard-elf are headed to fairy land with the elf king and that foul beast."
Roran nodded. He felt like he should've gone with them, but at the same time he knew it would be best for Eve and himself if he wasn't there. "All we can do is wait for them then. Hey, did your sense of smell get better?"
Kantern nodded and grinned. "Hell yes it did." He whipped out a vial with a few purple drops left in it. "This stuff is the strongest one I've made. I can smell every scent gland on your skin when you're so close." He looked away from Roran. "By the way, you need a shower." He heard Roran growl, growling back. "Don't show your teeth if you can't tackle the alpha," he teased. He heard Roran stop, but knew he was pushing it, chuckling again. It was good for things to be normal again. Roran was always too a**l about getting things done quickly and correctly. Kantern was able to get him to lighten up, even if just for a couple moments.

Vadász looked up when he sensed the two emotions, grimacing a little, oh this day couldn't get any worse. Family reunion, and then more people who thought him trouble. Or at least seemed to dislike his presence. He just sighed heavily, noticing Priya just move back a little, and of course Sarah would be enjoying this. She hated him now. Who didn't at this point? He just watched the werewolf calmly, taking the potion, examining it a little before nodding to him. He just grimaced a little, sighing as he knew it was impossible for him to hide in his home since he had stayed so long in Mereth. Then he just seemed to look at the werewolf blankly, his eyes moving to the potions in his box. "Thank you..." he said quietly, watching them leave. He sighed lightly, he would take them up on the offer a little later, for now he had to deal with his family. Joy upon Joy. He did drink the potion though, and it did taste like grapes, making him smirk a bit, but that soon faded.
Priya blinked a little, tilting her head as she watched the men leave. "Why don't you do that now?" She came up behind him and pushed him towards the door, making him follow after despite his growing frown. She knew he hated it when she did this to him. "Um, excuse me! He'll take that chocolate one please!" She said with a small smile, standing in front of her brother whom just sighed. She nudged him hard in the side, a brighter sort of feeling radiating off of her, almost bubbly. "Sorry if I'm interrupting." She bowed a little, brushig her black hair back.

Roran looked back at the voices, rolled his eyes, and glared at Kantern. "You didn't give him the potion? Kantern he needs to stay hidden better or else a wereperson could come who is a spy for Altarion! If he can't hide, we're screwed!"
Kantern's eyes lowered at the scolding. It was a natural reaction for dogs. Taking a dep breath, he spoke. "I know, Roran, and I gave it to him. I just left it on a pillow on my way out. I assumed he sleeps on a pillow, so when he'd go to get it, he'd find the potion." He paused. "I'm sorry."
Roran's eyes narrowed at him. "Yeah, yeah." He brought up a hand and slapped the back of his friend's head. "Be less descreet next time." He turned to the two werehawks. "I'm sorry. If you didn't hear that, it's on a pillow in the house." He turned half way around before turning back. "Please remember to drink it, and also remember that there are no fires tonight." He turned away again and walked back to camp, Kantern at his heels.

Priya just blinked a little, tilting her head at their arguement, waiting patiently, knowing how her brother felt uncomfortable. Real subtle guys, nice job. She was tired of people beating down on her brother, he had made his mistakes, but he was doing so much better now. She glanced back to Vadász, patting his shoulder in a reassuring manner, shooing him back into the house since she knew someone could be watching. She had to hold back a chuckle from the cuffing the werewolf received, keeping her calm composure. "It's completely fine. Thank you so much. Oh don't worry, I'll remind him." She waved to them, running after her brother, peeking in the doorway to notice that Sarah was standing at a window, watching the others warily.
Vadász walked back into the house, moving past Cori to the bedroom to pick up the potion on the pillow, drinking it quickly. He then sighed and sat down on the bed, praying none of his family followed him. He knew his sister meant well, but she should have known that he hated how she always ended up in his business. And then Sarah will start on me... Oh I don't want Cori seeing this, but maybe it's better that she know... He pushed himself up, walking back into the room, seeming very weary though he tried to appear calm.
"That's better." Sarah muttered under her breath as her cousin walked back into the room, turning to face him. "What the hell do you think you're doing back? You know whats going to happen if the Kings men find you. We're not even going to go into any other bounty hunters. With the crimes you've committed and the enemies you've made, it's a miracle that your protection from the Queen has counted for anything." She snapped at him, narrowing her eyes, walking up to him so that she was in his face.
He lowered his eyes as his cousin walked up, staring at her calmly, knowing that none of his empathy would work on her. "You've already been told. I'm here to help Eve and Leena fight Altarion. Thats the only reason I've come back at all. Otherwise you wouldn't find me here. I never would have come back, I'm not a fool. I knew that death and whatever is worse awaited me if I came back here. Don't start with this again Sarah." He muttered, for once a hint of menace creeping into his voice.
She scoffed, her wings appearing and flapping in her annoyance. "Oh really? Never would have come back? I bet you wouldn't have. Then why weren't you more careful? You've always been a fool Vadász. It's what got Maria killed. It's what got your father tortured and murdered. Then your mother committed suicide by swallowing a coal from the fire that burned your fathers carcass. You have brought down your family with shame. Don't even think that such "noble" actions will ever change that. It won't matter if you try to correct those mistakes, they will remain. They have remained. People here haven't forgotten what happened forty years ago." She backed away from him, feeling Priya's hand on her shoulder. She just shook her head and shrugged off the hand, walking out the door with a huff.
Priya watched her leave, looking up while biting her lower lip to her brother, seeing how his head remained bowed. "Vadász-"
He held up a hand, walking over to the window so that none of them could see his face, unable to even look at Cori. What must she think? "She's right to be angry with me Priya. I made things hard for you and her. And countless others. Please don't try to soften that fact. I know you mean well, but just... don't. Can you leave me alone for a while, please?" He asked quietly, he needed time to think of what he should do. He then turned into a hawk and flew into one of the upstairs rooms, the sound of a door closing gently being heard.
The gothic girl watched her brother leave, sighing heavily as she looked then to Cori. "Don't bother him when he's like this. One time I tried to and I almost lost my head." She said quietly, giving her a small smile. "I'm sorry to have bothered you both like this. I wanted to see him since it's been so long. I shouldn't have let Sarah follow me." She glanced to the doorway again after her cousin, holding herself then, leaning against a wall.

((are you gonna go see them? Apocalyptica?))
Cori had stayed back, unable to not hear and staying silent. Though, if they hadn't been there she'd have been after Roran in a heartbeat... She wasn't a complete idiot, as he seemed to think. Or at least he acted that way.
She nodded faintly as Priya spoke, shrugging at the apology. "It's fine, I understand..." she murmured, returning the smile, though it faded fairly quickly.

(( Yesh. ^^ I CAN'T WAIT DAMMIT!! whee I has my tickets. ^^))
Priya was suddenly at her side, giving her a hug from behind, the bubbly feeling flowing off of her. It was a light hearted sort of feeling that was content with itself. Meaning Priya was content with herself. "Sure it is. What exactly has he told you about his past?" She asked quietly, moving back with a small tilt of her head. "I'm assuming he's mentioned Maria and the baby." She added in a softer voice, seeming quite gentle now.

Cori nodded. "That's all he told me, I didn't push for anything else." she replied, turning around to look at the girl.

(( Thanks! I probably will. ^^ Awww.... that sucks. Alright, thanks for the forewarning. ))
Priya simply nodded, glancing to the stairwell where her brother had gone. "He seems distant a lot because he doesn't want anything happening to any of us. Me, you, even Sarah despite her loathing for him now." She paused, looking up to the floor boards, chuckling a little. "I will warn you of this. He was an assassin of sorts for Talagand while he was working as a messenger and knight. A two-life sort of thing. Normal during the day, dark and foreboding at night. In this way he made many enemies. I hope he doesn't like me any less for telling you some of this." She brushed her dark hair back, stretching.
"He was indirectly involved in this incident that cost the kingdom much when he thought he was helping. Then he found out what actually happened, at least this is what I've been told. And it cost him his life. So, I'm thankful that you didn't push him. It brought him so much pain." She then touched her cheek gently, a small smile on her lips. "Please take care of him for me. I know he hates it when we come around to see him. Thank you for helping him heal already." Then she let her hand fall away, her wings extending from her back to stretch.
(( It's fine. ^_^ Hah! Some of his life is revealed! Rawr, brain stopped rolling over. xDD ))

"Stop whining and come on." Roran was still a bit angry with Kantern, though he was finding it hard not to laugh. The werewolf had taken his wolf form and was whining nonstop. He walk in front of Roran, lay down and look at him as he walked up. Then he'd get up and repeat. "Dumb dog," he muttered.
"Hey!" he said as he came out of his wolf form. "Just because I look like a dog doesn't mean I am one!" Caling Kantern a dog was what set him off. It was only because Roran was a close friend that Kantern didn't attack. "An don't give me the crap about how you know and were joking!" He was more angry barking at this point. He did that often when he'd get angry. Continuing to grol under his breath, he didn't say anything till he calmed down, sitting on the rock he had been on when they reached it.

(( aww, ok. Night! ))
Priya nodded once, getting up and heading towards the door to hear outside. "No problem. Well, I'll be around. I'll let you two talk." She waved, skipping out of the house and into the snow. She was happy for her brother, just hoping he wasn't thinking anything foolish at that moment. They'll be fine i think. She noticed Roran and his friend in the camp, just smiling a bit before changing into a nightingale, singing sweetly from the branch of a tree.
Vadász came down the stairs, seeming better than he had been after Sarah shouted at him, walking up to Cori and placing his arms around her. he didn't even say anything yet. What could he say? "Sorry about that... I wish you hadn't seen or heard."

Roran heard the song and grit his teeth. Saty calm. Just stay calm. She hit a high note. "Damn ******** bird!" His bow was out, an arrow nocked, and he shot it into the branch below her, missing deliberatly. "Shut the ******** up!"
Kantern watched his friend's violent rage. He waited a moment before putting in his two cents. "You really should control your anger more. You're like a firecracker with a fuse whose length varies. You'll go off and then stay angry all day." He had calmed down enough to talk with Roran now.
"You shut it too." Roran glared at Kantern before closing his eyes, sitting next to him.

Priya stopped the minute she felt the anger rise, which was rather fast, lowering her eyes. Never. She was never allowed to sing anymore. It made her think of a tale about a nightingale she once heard, unable to really think about it since she flew up at the shot of the arrow. She then shot out of the way, getting chased by Sarah down to the ground, changing as they landed on the ground, getting promptly slapped hard across the face.
"You stupid ********! You're as bad as he is." She snapped, slapping her hard once more. "You can't sing now, do you want to make things worse?"
Priya took the hits, it was in a manner as if she were used to this happening. "I thought one, small song would be alright. You never let me sing anymore." She said softly, a hand resting on her cheek. She didn't fight back, even if she could or should. "You never let anyone do anything Sarah... You need to relax. Please?"
Slap Again she hit her cousin.
"The only reason I'm not a sorry excuse like you and one of the higher ranked knights is because I don't let anything slide like this. You will never amount to anything. You never have. What happened to your ambition?" Sarah demanded, a softer side showing a little.
Priya just straightened from the slap, chuckling a little as she managed a small smile. "I'm doing what makes me happy cousin. Not everything is about rank, power, or duty. It's about what can make us happy and earn us a living. If my singing, healing, and nature can help people, why not? I knew I wouldn't be as strong as you or brother so I turned to what I knew I could do in the world to help it." She explained quietly, ignoring any others that were around them.
Sarah just growled and kneed her cousin in the stomach, kicking her legs out from under her so she landed hard in the snow. "Don't sing again. Ok? You are an embarrassment just like he is." She muttered, walking away a bit before she carefully flew back to the castle, and was gone.
She didn't look up as her cousin left, looking at the ground as she slowly pushed herself up, coughing a little. She let her wings envelope her body to hide herself from view a little as she made her way to her feet in a careful manner, knowing if she got up too fast it would hurt more. She leaned against the tree she had perched in, sighing as she brushed the snow from her arms. She hummed softly under her breath, the smile remaining upon her lips. Never did she lose that smile. Never ever. Her wings flapped a little, protecting her from the cold wind even in her warm clothes.
(( I really need to start being nicer to my characters. >< ))
