Shaking his head as he noticed many people walking past him, Mark realized that he may have been walking the short trail for an hour or so in a daydream. He couldn't even remember what it was he was thinking about, but only because it wasn't important. Hurrying into the cafeteria, Mark looked around at the number of people who were already here, and some who had gone outside to eat.

Not really the social type, he decided just to sit at the first table he got to. Rushing to the line, he quickly got himself a plate filled over with eggs, bacon, sausage, and heavily buttered toast, with a glass of Sunny-D on the side. Sitting down, he immediately started drowning himself in his breakfast [not literally, of course!] in an attempt to quell his unusually large hunger.

(( Mal, Marie and Tess haven't even reached the cafeteria yet ^_^;; ))

Sergey smiled and gave a short bend at the waist towards Alwynn as a greeting. "Ah, vell, my own classes are Study Hall, Chemistry, Japanese History, P.E. 2, Comedy & Satire, another Study Hall, Algebra 2, and English as a Second Langauge." He finished with a smile. He nodded when Alwynn mentioned that waffles were good and chuckled. He offere his arms to both girls with a friendly smile on his face. "Shall ve head to breakfast?"

(( Sergey is a pimp XD ))

Sam's eyes slowly blinked open. He turned his head toward the bed, noting the absence of a sleeping girl. Oh, good, he thought. Aya must have left already. As he stood up and began stretching, he saw Mrs. Ishida enter the room. The boy blushed a little and stopped mid-stretch. "Good morning, Mrs. Ishida," he said.

"Good morning, Sam," came the head nurse's warm reply. "Aya left to prepare for her classes. I do hope she won't skip breakfast... If you see that young lady in the cafeteria, make sure she eats something, even if it's just a piece of toast."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Thank you, dear. Now, then, I've taken the liberty of retrieving some of your clothing from your dormitory, as well as the things you will need to freshen up this morning. You may use the staff showers; I'll make sure no-one disturbs you."

"Thank you, Mrs. Ishida."

"No problem." Mrs. Ishida handed Sam a plastic bag containing the aforementioned items and left to continue her rounds.

The young empath made his way quickly toward the staff showers, closing the door tightly behind him. He disrobed and ran a quick shower. Wrapping his towel around his waist, Sam commenced the process of brushing his teeth and combing his hair. Now sufficiently dry, he put the towel and yesterday's clothes in the bag Mrs. Ishida had supplied. He donned a pair of polyester pants identical to the ones he wore the day prior, a dark blue belt shirt, a pair of black crossed belts, and the same moccasins. He tied a purple bow into his two-toned locks to complete the look, and exited the shower room.

Sam's next stop was the cafeteria. As he approached the double-doors to said building, he noticed a particularly avian fellow walking between two pretty girls. "Hello there, you three!" he said in his usual jovial mood. "Mind if I tag along?" The question was mainly directed toward the young man in the middle, who Sam thought the most likely to object.

"Thanks," was his reply as he smiled and sat at the space she made for him. She commented about their grade difference, to which he nodded to agree. "I guess they want us to be around a lot of people: different roommates, different teammates, different classmates," Matt added just before Candice spoke again. Candice's question wasn't too unusual, though she did say it suddenly. He looked to her as he lifted his glass of OJ, "Of course." He meant to say it in a sincere way (because he truly did mean it), but he felt as though it sounded cheesy coming out. He put his cup down without drinking from it and reached into the pocket of his black jeans for his schedule.

“Hey,” Marie spoke while taking Sergey right arm, “We have Japanese History together!” She was happy to know that she knew someone in at least one of her classes.

Marie walked light footed until they reached the cafeteria. Unlinking her arm, Marie swept her way to the line getting some waffles with strawberries and whipped cream and a skim milk. She turned and spotted Logan sitting by himself. Marie though about joining him, but his face looked a little pained, so perhaps quiet would do him better.

Marie then spotted Mal sitting alone and went to join him. “Good morning, Mal,” Marie said politely. “I hope you night was restful. “May I, my roommate Alwyn, and Sergey, join you?”

((Ooc: I couldn’t resist, Alwyn. I want some right now SO badly!))

Tess nodded a little when Arkell commented on the weather, and then his hair was scruffed at. He had to tense to keep himself from showing that he enjoyed it. "Yeah. Nice weather. A bit hot for my tastes, though." he mumbled with a heavy sigh. As her hip bumped into him, he looked up at her again and watched her walk ahead, before trotting to catch up. He was curious about her change in smiles and grins, but looked away as some people walked past.

Tess blinked and looked back at Arkell as she asked him if he wanted to sit with her for breakfast. He suddenly felt a bit ashamed, recalling the feeling of people staring at him as he ate the day before. He didn't know if Arkell had seen him eating, but he didn't think it would look pleasant to her. "Erm.. Sorry. I, uh... was planning on skipping breakfast and going upstairs to see what else was up there." he lied softly, head hanging low as his gaze was directed elsewhere. "Besides, I'm not good eating company, anyways."

((I know that, but Sam was attempting to strike up a conversation with her, Sergey, and Alwyn. Worry not, however. I can adjust.))

"Pardon me, milady," Sam said with a smile as he took a seat directly in front of Marie, "but that wasn't a very nice thing you did back there. You forgot the number one rule of being a good conversationalist: never ignore a friendly greeting. Not a very good first impression~! You're lucky I wait until the second impression. Otherwise..." He winked. "You'd've lost a potential friend."

Sergey beemed when Marie took his arm, not even really noticing if Alwynn did the same or not, though the offer was still open to her. He escorted the young ladies towards the cafeteria, not noticing Tess and Arkell a short distance away. When Marie said they would have Japanese History together, butterflies began to flutter around in his stomach. Finally, a class he could look forward to for two reasons. He hopped into line behind them and instead of waffles got pancakes with raspberries and honey, along with a large glass of Chocolate milk. He followed Marie and to go and sit with Mal giving the boy a friendly smile. When Sam sat down however, he frowned, listening to the boy. To him it sounded like he was insulting Marie, and Sergey would not stand for that. His gaze hardened settling on Sam his once happy expression creasing into a deep frown.

Arkell looked down at him with a pout noticing how he was avoiding looking at her. She bumped into him again and sighed. "Alright..." she said, sounding a little downtrodden.

“I’m sooo sorry,” Marie blushed deeply with regret, faintly remembering the interaction by the young man. She was busy thinking about Logan and totally ignored him. “I am very pleased to know I can have a second chance. I guess I'm a bit air headed. I really excited for the first day of classes.” Her face continued to redden a bit more. “I’m Marie Jakemen, it’s nice to not ignore you,” she attempted to joke lightly.

"Well," Sam responded, his smile brightening at the joke, "it's nice to not be ignored by you, Marie! And I must say, Marie is a delightful name! It happens to be my middle name. One of them, anyway~" His smile broadened. "The name's Sarah Amethyst Marie O'Reilly, but, please, call me Sam~! How about introducing me to your friends here? Especially this guy with the cold glare." He indicated Sergey, still smiling.

Tess frowned at Arkell's downtrodden tone. "I... I guess... I could sit with you. Exploring can wait until after classes." he mumbled, feeling a little stupid. "But I'm not going to eat anything..." he added. He still wasn't looking at her, but he trotted ahead a little, leading the way. "So get some food for yourself, and I'll find a place to sit." he murmured as they entered the cafeteria. His eyes found Sergey and narrowed a little, before he stood up on his hind legs and looked around for a place for he and Arkell to sit.

"Listen, I think maybe we ought to try a training session together before we choose a team name. That way we know what we can all do." Huiliiam said organising a breakfast. Bacon, scrambled eggs, maple syrup and pancakes heaped high. "Maybe I should explain so I dont look like a pig. I have an abnormally high metabolism. If I dont eat huge amounts I'll fall asleep. At home it dont matter but here, well I dont wanna fall asleep in the middle of class." He said with unusually good humour for a morning. He helped himself to a glass of iced coffee for a short sharp shock.

Arkell visibly brightened her hair giving a pleasent crackle in response to his being willing to eat with her. "I don't see why you won't eat....are you afraid of people looking at you funny?" She wasn't sure if he heard her. She shrugged and hopped into the line while he went and looked for a table for them to sit at. She got bacon, eggs, and toast (with extra bacon just incase Bane might want any) and then stepped out of the line grabbing a milk on her way out. She walked over to where Bane was standing up and she looked up at him in awe. "Your so tall!!"

Sergey's scowl did not leave his face and he harumphed ignoring Sam altogether in favor of his breakfast of pancakes. He quite calmly cut them up and began to eat, his eyes on his food.
