Paradox didn't sit down. He stood there menacingly. "It's not a smart decision. It will be seen as an arrogant move against the whole country of Llyr. You should change your mind." He replied just as calmly, thought the general didn't smile back. This had deeply upsent Katherine, and what made Katherine unhappy, made Paradox unhappy.
(sorry about not replying earlier. Was fixing up computer.

"And you should just accept that I'm right, but of course you're just as bad as she" he smiled Sekain and Decimation kept Aldon in on everything he knew all about the immortals Llyr inhabited, which was more than the other houses. "But there is more of a darkness within you"

"This isn't about me. It's about the lives of the people you govern. This move will be seen as aggression towards the kingdom no matter how you potray it. The capital will be forced to take action." He replied calmly, ignoring Aldon's jibes against him. Instead, he said something else. "I'm a killer by trade. Of course there is a darkness." Paradox still stood up studying the other man, or the blessed man. Paradox could feel the blessing of some god like a wreath around aldon. He didn't like it.

"Of course it is. You and the rest of you immortals that run this city. It was never like this when Katherines Father was on the throne, your powers are threatening your own lives as well as the lives of my people and those of the other houses." he said as he took his gauntlets off and lay them on the table. They were like tiger's claws. "The captial taking action only enforces my reasoning for this division. The supplies will continue to the capital and the houses, and I have no intention of attack on the houses or the capital, so how will it look when you come to attack us?...I'm guessing not too good. Seeing as we havent provoked it" he said calmly and kind of smug. Deicmation blessed him with knowledge and training. He had no superpowers, he was confident with this decision as his skills as a tactician exceed many others, he's looked at it from every angle and knows that someone will attack and his people will trust him more and more as he'd be right about them being threats to them.

Paradox sighed. "Logic can win any argument, anywhere. I know how dangerous I am, and how many people I have killed. Yet, how many people know of me? Very few, eispeically not the gods, your god, every god." Paradox replied back to him, as still as stone. He leaned forward, his hand resting on the table. The general was still standing as the giant he was. "I could use the same logic on you. When will it end. Sure, you might send supplies at first, but only until your people get used to the idea of being independent. Then you will close trade off completely, cutting off Llyr best source of water. It would cause mass chaos, and the capital would fall to ruin as the rest of the houses followed your example, turning Llyr into nothing more than a land of feuding warlords. Even if you don't take that path, what about your successor, or their successor. What you are doing will split the Kingdom no matter what your intentions were." He talked back. While Aldon had been blessed with Decimation's knowledge and training, Paradox had lived more than a few lives of experience on his own. He had seen this happen on a smaller scale, and knew that if none of the houses took offense, He, as general of Llyr would have to, or he would just have to cut off the head of the snake. Aldon wouldn't be hard to assasinate. Not at all.

"That may be so, but if the houses and people knew the truth, then it'd be split months ago. All of you are putting everyone in danger by living here, and it's never going to stop, Katherine and now her sons, and surely their heirs will have some forms of power that'll bring trouble to these lands. The water to the capital is sent from a seperate spring directly there, which I am in the process of seperating from this house so it won't run dry, not that anyone would know any different in the chaos caused by lack of supplies seeing as the capital wreaks of it" he said calmly and coldly averting his gaze momentarily, "My successor Sekain, the one who is now being hunted because of Katherine, and his siccessor Aiden, she who abandoned the house and left it to fall apart before Sekian and myself came to make it as secure as it is now. Successors mean nothing in this situation, the people dont know them, they know and trust me and should you and the houses attack un provoked, then that will reinforce that trust. THe supplies will continue. We have no other relationship as of next week. Our sole aim will still be fullfilled hence you have no reason for attack." he said remaining calm as he stood to his feet, his large frame slightly shorter than paradox.

Paradox sighed. "Danger? The truth is dangerous, but half of the truth is nothing more than a lie. You only have half the truth, so you know only lies. Everything dies. It is inevitable. You have chosen death. For you and the people who put their loyalty in you." Paradox replied sadly. He was not as immortal as Aldon thought he was, or anybody else thought he was, but he did have an instinct for surivival. "The attack will happen no matter what you reason of it. I may be against it, but the people who matter, those who have corrupted the system you know. They will be ready to throw the kingdom into chaos, and they will."
(sorry had to get a bite to eat.)

"And you're king and queen will over see it or guide it to their will. Either way, it will prove the monsters that lead the capital are dangerous to us, and show them for whom they really are. If they're as you say they are, then they will continue along side us without conflict, but they cant, they won't. Proving me right. Our sole funciton was to provide the kingdom with water, which we will continue to do, making the attack uneccesary as we will still be serving our sole function. So please hurry and make the decision. Cause either way, it will prove my point" he smiled "I'm sure you can show yourself out" he said as he picked up his guantlets and fastened them once more and turned to wlak away..

Paradox watched him get up and begin to walk away. There was a smile on Paradox's smile, beneath the cloak that concealed more than just his face. "You forget why flowing rivers became part of Llyr. It wasn't for water, and it wasn't for the people's will. It was for peace, and you have broken that one thing." Paradox moved away from the table. He had his hand on his weapons. "You already made my decision for me. You will die, and so will Flowing Rivers." Paradox finished calmly. He would keep it simple. The capital never needed to attack. Paradox would do it for them.

Paradox shook his head. "It is too late for the gods to intervene. I hope your death is peaceful, and not by me. Not even the gods could save you if you choose to fall to my blade." Paradox turned around and walked his own way. He dragged his hand along the wall, leaving a long rut in the once perfect smooth surface. He had failed Katherine in changing the man's mind, and soon he would have to deliver.

Aldon had stayed within house for the last day or so, the townsfolk didnt think much of this as they thought he was planning their defence, and boy was he. He had written many a letter describing his situation to some friends of his who he knew were more than happy to help him in his time. His friends Uldur, Xante, Farin and Miandra are all from places beyond Rhina and Tesla, true outsides to this realm, making it easier for them to help Aldon protect his part. "They don't know what they've gotten themselves into" Aldon smiled as he watched his four riders ride thought the cities with letters to his allies. These four are more than assassins, which are common within these parts of the world. No no they are much much more... war lords.
The five of them together have caused more than chaos. They have thrown cities into complete destruction, as if Decimation had done it himself. Enihallated many sectors of the world and claimed them as their own. Some say these five were brought together by Deicmation hand picked by himself others say that decimations predeccessor was split up and a part of him is within each of them. But theres one thing that is for sure. The five of them together are known to be unbeatable.

Aldon woke up this morning, to a very dark over cast day. He smiled "It's going to be a great day" he chuckled as a servant brought him his breakfast. "Please prepare the city to greet our guests" he smiled as the servant nodded and left the room.

 Lisette slowly walked out of the carriage. The big house infronot of her looked welcoming. She quickly walked to the door, not wanting to stay in the cold weather. Her little hand came out of her big green coat, and carefully knocked on the door.

Aldon ate and got out of bed and got dressed and fastened his armour and gauntlets ready to welcome whom ever arrived first. The weather looked like rain, which didnt happen very often here, "this must be decimations way of informing me of their arrival" he smiled as he crossed to the window.
One of the handmaidens of the house answered the door and upon seeing the girl she opened it wider "oh come on in out of this weather young lady" she said inviting her in." The house wasn't like the castle at the capital, it was under guard, but it was open to those who sought shelter or help, which reinforced Aldons paternal reltaionship with his people. "Are you here alone?" she asked the girl
