Adan grinned and let go of Ryu's hand just long enough to wave goodbye to Lore and Elnara. "See you later!" he called brightly; then he took Ryu's hand again and tugged on both his and Feng's hands.
"Come on, let's go!" he grinned, starting forwards again.

"We're coming," Ryu assured Adan, "Don't worry we'll have time once we get there."
If not... Ryu was sure Aliya wouldn't mind if they had lunch at the Ranch. At least he was sure she wouldn't mind.

Lore nodded, waving at the little boy as he passed. He remembered this house, it was in ruins the last time, but it was good to see it all fixed up. Of course now there were people living in the said house.

Once they reached the house, Elnara knocked on the door and waited for an answer.
"This is kind of exciting," she commented to Lore. "I mean she was a baby the last time we were here, now she has four of her own. Still kind of strange, but exciting at the same time."

From within the house came the call, "Come in!"
Aliya of course was still cleaning up after Alyse, but the twins were helping along.
Meanwhile, over at the ranch, Sir Leith was just finishing up with the first horse, walking it in circles around the pen to cool it down after a good hard workout.
"Wouldst care to join me once more?" he asked Lin.

"Or I can take you to see Sir Boudwin!" Arwen piped up, popping up suddenly from behind the wall. She grinned up at Lin. "I know you said at breakfast that you wanted to, I know where he is, he's not far out, we can go see him no problem if you want!"

Lin nearly fell over in surprise at the sudden appearance of Arwen. It was not the first nor last time she wished she could tell when someone was coming from behind her, they were just as bad as Mia! Granted, it was Mia and no one knew how she did it, but figured it was one of those non-alive qualities about her.
She wanted to say something about having people sneak up on her, but really it wasn't Arwen's fault, she was just naturally like that.
"Ah..." Lin looked up at Arwen, "Yes I did... I'd like that actually."

Lore was the one who opened the door, letting Elnara through first.
Well that and he would let Elnara talk first, since he was even less sure of how to start talking at this moment. It was hard to believe after all, that the young baby they had seen was now a grown woman with her own children.

Elnara smiled at Lore, then stepped inside. She had thought that she would be prepared, but when she saw Aliya and the two small children picking up wooden blocks off the floor, she was still surprised by how much had changed since their last visit.
"Hello, Aliya," she said warmly, stepping further inside so that Lore could follow her in. "You probably don't remember me ... my name is Elnara, and this is my fiance, Lore. We were here when you were a baby."

"Oh, hello," Aliya smiled warmly, rising to her feet and tiptoeing carefully over to her guests, careful not to step on any of the game pieces that the twins were almost finished picking up.
She shook Elnara's hand warmly, then held her hands out to Lore. "Welcome back," she grinned. "You're right, I don't remember you, but I have been told about you. Come in, careful of where you step."
Alyse poked her head out from under the couch and looked at the two, then ducked back under, but Adwin, always the adventurer, scrambled to his feet and ran over to stand next to his mother.
"Hi!" he said brightly, looking up at their guests. "I'm Adwin! Did you come with Feng an' Ryu?"
Sir Leith chuckled softly. "I believe thou hast startled our young guest, Princess," he laughed at Arwen. "Perhaps some warning on the next occasion would be preferred."

Arwen giggled and held up one hand to help Lin down from her perch. "He calls me Princess," she laughed. "Come on, Sir Boudwin should be coming off his shift now! We can meet him before he disappears again!"
She glanced off towards the forest as if to make sure that he wasn't already back.

Lin did have to admit though, Arwen was a princess... technically speaking and it seemed natural for Sir Leith to refer to her as such, but her mind was occupied with other matters. Like the fact that Arwen wanted to go see Sir Boudwin too.
"Oh! Okay," Lin smiled turning back to Sir Leith, "I'll go with Arwen now then, thank you for letting me stay."

Lore nodded, "Yes we did, we're staying at the Ranch."
He carefully looked around, it kind of reminded him of the children's playroom back in the library only you had to be careful of books and not blocks.

Elnara giggled at Adwin, amused by his forwardness and his twin's apparent shyness. Such opposites.
"It looks like you were playing a game in here," she mused, stepping around the pieces and making her way gingerly towards the couch. "I hope we didn't interrupt."

"No, we finished a while ago," Aliya assured them. "Ah, I have to introduce the children ... well, you've met Adwin now, and this ..."
She reached under the couch and pulled out her shy and blushing daughter.
"... is Alyse. Say hello, Alyse."
The litte girl blushed even deeper and wiggled her fingers in a sort of half-wave.
