Hido breathed a deep sigh of relief as he kissed Kanshin, opening his eyes to stare into hers as he brought his hands up placing, gently gripping her wrists and then sliding his hands back and over her arms, letting his hands roll over her shoulders. He let them slide back, rubbing down her back before stopping them lightly against her sides. He slowly slid his hands down, tracing small circles along her sides as they went stopping, brushing against her like the touch of a velvet hand to lightly press against her waist. He broke their kiss, staring into her deep beautiful eyes, their red matching his own. "Kanshin..." He said tenderly closing his eyes for a moment before opening them again, making she she was still there, it was almost too good to be real and Hido almost questioned the reality that something so good had happened to him.

Kanshin savored every second of their time together. The tase of his lips, the feel of his velvet skin against her's, the rhythmic beating of her heart in her chest, the warmth building up in her the the seconds lingered. It was just all so wonderful to be with him like this. To get to be this close and connected with another who loved her as much as she loved him. It made her so glad that she had chosen this life-style when she had, had chosen to become a ninja at the date she had rather than sooner like her father had wanted or later like her mother had asked her to do. She was thankful for having met Hido in the academy where they had met. Thankful for all the times they had run into each other when traveling their own ways. This moment, this feeling, was as much a dreamy feel to the still young and puppy-like Enkou as it was for Hido. She looked deeply into his own eyes when he broke their kiss, smiling lightly with pure delight. "Yes, Hido Dear?"

Kia stares up at Kikyo with wide, black eyes. 'Her name has a meaning too!' she comments in her head, thinking of her own name's meaning before returning her attention back to the woman. "So this is Waterfall tribe? That make more sense than Heaven." she obviously states, smiling just like the easily amused and perplexed child she is. "So Heaven tribe is in the sky?" Kia continues, confused. 'I didn't know tribes can fly. Maybe I understood her wrong.' "And Gear tribe is under it, and both of them are away from here." the child speaks wonderingly, mostly explaining it to herself so she could paint a picture of how the two tribes might look, and then just confusing herself even more. "This is confusing!" Kia pouts and crosses her arms in a childish way. 'This is hurting my head. Why does this place have to be so wierd?' Then, a sudden thought came to her, and she gets filled with excitement. "If your from Heaven tribe, and it's in the sky, does that mean you can fly?" she asks hopefully, looking at Kikyo earnestly, hands clasped in front of her.

Kikyo laughed lightly. She was trying to understand, at least that was clear. Kikyo bent down and drew a quick picture with two villages, one above the other, and the one on bottom having a line right under it. "See this line under the bottom village? That would be the ground. Hidden Heaven is a floating Village because my clan, the Soshis, can control the elements, including wind." She stood up as her skin turned that pale collored and she took a step up like there was an invisiblae step in front of her. "This is one of my clan's techniques. It's called 'Air Walk.' It does as the name sounds, lets us walk on air. It's the same thing we use to keep our village floating in the sky. I can also run like the wind, literally." To prove this, she used Wind Dash to run 100 yards away with in a matter of seconds and then ran back just as fast. "That was Wind Dash. It's not as fast as Leaf's Body Flicker, but it's a lot more fun to do since you get to feel the wind in your face." She stayed hovering above the ground, waiting to see if the girl was understanding any of this.

Kia watches the woman's picture with deep interest, understanding a little of how they looked, and why. She cocked her head to the side in a feline fashion and watches and listens to Kikyo as she explains herself. "COOL!!!" was the only thing the child could say at the moment as she watched Kikyo levitate right before her eyes, then dash away and back in a matter of seconds. 'She is even faster than me!' the girl thinks in wonder. She always prided herself over her speed, and even her own people recognized her skill. She was small, even to her tribe's standards, only reaching a very stagering 4'3'' tall. Her small stature turned out to be an asset in the end, and gave her the edge she needed to reach suprising speeds. With that in mind, she couldn't understand HOW this woman could run so fast, or levitate for that matter, under her own power. It never occured to her that, in this strange land, the strange people in it may have skills of their own, skills that surpass even her own. Kia smiled to herself, now suddenly excited as she runs up to the woman, eyes staring at her like she was a goddess. "Teach me! Please!" she begged, hands clasped in front of her agian. "That is why my parents sent me away, so I can learn from you and get stronger, strong enough to take my papa's place when I'm old enough. Please!? Please!? Please!?" Kia stares up at Kikyo hopefully, knowing full well that, if she agreed, this woman could teach her many things, things that will eventually help her protect and lead her tiny tribe when she became of age.

Kikyo gave a nervous look before dropping down and kneeling so that they were both eye-to-eye. "Look, Kia, as nice as it would be to have a student or apprentice, I can't do it for several reasons. One is that you aren't from my clan. Sure, you'd be able to learn some of my clan's moves, but not those two or some of the other, more powerful stuff. The person who founded my clan made sure that non-Soshis wouldn't have the oppurtinity to use our strngest moves against us. Two is that we'd have to go to my village in order to do so, but Hidden Gear is in control and they probably know by now that I'm planning on betraying the truce me made in order to regain control of my home. Lastly, you really don't want to be seen with me, especailly since Drago wants me dead. I did something that most aren't too happy about, so now I've got a bullseye on my back. It's alright with my two friends in the mansion for me to be there since Kanshin has Hido to protect her and Hido's very powerful... But to risk a young girl's life because I did something stupid is not on my list of things to do."

-=Ooc=- Sorry for the late and short reply. Been busy. sweatdrop
Kia gazes at Kikyo misty eyed, her hope crashing down. "But...!" she argues, heartbroken. "You dont have to teach me then! Just let me come with you!" she pleades, clinging to the womans arm. 'I dont want to be alone agian!' she screams in her mind, fear flowing throughout her tiny body. She knew very well that the lady will more than likely reject her agian, but she had to try. She was doing this for her people, her parents, as well as herself, and nothing is more important to her than fulfilling her duty and making her papa and ma proud of her. "I can take care of myself. I can hide really well! And I wont bother you! You wont even know I'm there!" she continues, unrelenting, voice shaking with want.

((It's alright. I had writer's block all day, so I wouldn't have replied right away. xd )) Kikyo looked down at the child, her face remaining as emotionless as it had been earlier, showing no sign for sympathy for the child what-so-ever. Even so, that didn't mean it wasn't there. After all, her heart wasn't made of ice. She could relate a bit to just wanting some one to be with, to have at least one person to be there for her. She had found sucha a person and fallen in love with him, but now she had no clue where he was. If it weren't for Kanshin and some people she had actually grown some what attached to, Kikyo would be in the exact boat as her (minus the part about parents since she'd lost her mother, along with her twin, at age six and her father four years after). She'd had no family for eight years now, not even fitting in in her clan. Kia didn't need to say it for Kikyo to hear that inner plea not to be left alone again. That said, Kikyo swiftly reached her hands out and swept the small girl off the ground as she stood, holding her above herself as she inspected Kia. Well, she was tiny so she would probably come to use if they needed to get in a small spot. Plus a quick trip to Konaha would get her to know Body Flicker so that way she could keep up with out having to be carried. She continued looking her over as though she were making a decision about keeping a puppy, before shrugging and placing the girl on her shoulders. "Well, if you're going to stick with us, then expect to hear words kids shouldn't hear, see things that may screw you up in the long run, and be forced to deal with the biggest jerk ever to exsist, a girl who looks and acts like a puppy but could set you on fire if she had the heart to (which she won't since she's the biggest goody two shoes you'll ever come across), and some one that's been called a demon by the people in her own village.... But I don't really know if you'll be able to really stick around. After all, I'm of a group of three. Kanshin usually agrees to anything, but she'll side with Hido on a subject as important as this. Start thinking about what you can do so you can better explain yourself and get a better chance at getting to stay with us."

-=Ooc=- Ugg...writers block kills. If I get it, I'm pretty much screwed for days. Oh, and I dont really know why, but your reply made me laugh so hard it's not even funny. I started crying. O_o Maybe I'm just high...I dunno.
Kia gasps in surprise as Kikyo picks her up, holding her in the air and looking over her as if she was something she was buying in a market. The girl didn't take offense though, her want for companionship was way to strong for such a trivial look to bother her. She blinks, holding her breath, waiting, when finally, after what felt like moons, the woman placed the girl on her shoulders, making Kia's joy and excitement immediatly spiral upward with a quickness only childeren possessed, and that joy showed in her features. A huge smile nearly broke her face in half and her eyes practically sparkled when she let out a happy giggle laugh, hugging Kikyo's head. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" she repeated, her voice almost purring as she nuzzled the woman's head affectionatly like a kitten. "You wont regret this! I promise!" 'She likes me! She likes me! No more running or scavanging or cold.' Kia thinks, warming up inside. The child's heart seemed to soar inside of her, and her mind automatically began to come up with reasons and excuses to help convince Kikyo's own companions to let her come along. Of course, if they didn't, she would probably cling to them and follow them anyway. Understandibally giddy and highly elated, she expresses her joy agian in another giggle laugh, ending abruptly with a loud, obnoxious grumble from her still empty stomach. Kia blinks, then smiles sheepishly. "Oops...." she whispers, placing her hands on Kikyo's head, then her own head on top of her hands in a feline fashion.

((Fair warning, Kikyo can be slightly bipolar. No lies. Even I can get confused b her mood swings at times. 3nodding You know, this is almost comparable to Haku and Zabuza. xd )) Kikyo flinched at Kia suddenly latched onto her head, laughing (in her opinion) too loudly over something as insignificant as only the possibility of joining a group of people she new close to nothing about. If Kai payed much attention, she'd see a section of Kikyo's hair suddenly part as though she were scratching the back of her head.... Yeah, she was. But being in a lazy mood, Kikyo hadn't even bothered to lift her arms. Instead, she resorted to using one of her currently invisible vectors to solve the problem. Her hair soon was moved back into place as the vector was no longer of use to her. "Calm down. You're gonna make yourself fall if you aren't careful, and since you don't have my air walk technique you won't be able to catch yourself. Don't need you bloodying yourself up before you go talk with the leader of both Nara clan and Akatsuki. Man, Hido's so gonna make a big deal over this. I'll never hear the end of it..." Se sighed when she suddenly heard the grumble and felt a little quiver from the growling stomach. Even though she could hear and feel it was Kia, she still took a moment to make sure that hadn't been her stomach making such a monsterous sound. With no farther warning, Kikyo turned and went towards the mansion that had been made by Hido in a matter of minutes. Again, being too lazy to use her arms, the doors flung open themselves due to her hidden vectors slamming the doors open, rather than just being a normal person for a change. There could be a reason she didn't get along with the people back home.... Not going to go and state the obvious, though. She looked around before walking down a random hall she had chosen. What luck! She came to a kitchen and walked into it, lifting Kia up with eas and setting her down on the counter. She went over to the fridge, inspecting what they had available. "What do you want? Keep in mind, it may have more sugar than needed in it. I've always had issues with cooking. That's why Kekkaishi never let me do it when he was around. First time he ate some of my cooking her went into a sugar comma.... But it serves him right for having made salty cookies and then giving them to me." She paused and sighed. She really did miss him. Kikyo then shook her head slowly, trying to push that out of mind.

-=Ooc=- Ooo....bipolar....ness. Sweet! It shall be very interesting indeed! And it is like a Zabuza/Haku thing. lol XD
Kia immediatly shuts up at Kikyo's warning and clasps her mouth closed with her hands. She wanted to tell her that falling wasn't a problem for her. She would just turn and land on all fours like she had been doing for years each time she fell out of a tree. But, following her intuition and her common sense, desides to stay mute. She mearly nods to the woman before they trek into the mansion, the biggest dwelling the girl had ever seen, and she was too distracted by the huge hut to be perplexed by Kikyo's odd way of opening doors. Her saucer-wide eyes took in everything they could on their trek to, what she assumed, was the food room in the hut. Curiosity nagged at her as she was set down, and she eagerly sniffed the air, her hunger growing at all the different scents, while the lady went and opened a strange looking box that smelt of chilled eatables. She tilts her head and blinks, staring at Kikyo's back as Kia listens to her question. 'I dont know what to eat....and who is Kakashi? And what are salty cookies?' Millions of similar, pointless questions raged in her mind at child like speed, only thinking of one for a moment before it was gone, replaced by another. "Um....I dont know. Anything I guess....." she answers Kikyo cautiously, doing her best not to make her mad, for she caught a slight twinge in the woman's chi, which Kia just barely felt, but understood. "Wheat loafs would be good...." she ponders, an image of bread comming to mind before disappearing, an image of a bowl of frothy dark greenish liquid taking it's place. "...or maybe some Guan? Guan is good. So is Bheaq." Kia sighs mentally in content, her mind's eye seeing a huge plate piled with meat drenched in a thick, dark syrup. She always loved her people's cuisine, and she couldn't help but wonder if the people here loved it too. "Do you know any of those? They're really good!" she mentions, lightly swinging her legs, debating weither to jump down and look inside the strange box Kikyo had her head inside.

Kikyo looked over her shoulder at the girl, a look in her golden eyes that clearly read "What the hell are those." Of course, she didn't say it. Instead, she looked through what was there and started setting down stuff to make teriyaki chicken, fried rice, and dumplings down on the counter. All four of her vectors made themselves seen as she closed the fridge, having gathered the last of what was needed and grabbed any utensils that she would need to help prepare the meal. Once she had that together, she started making the meal, doing each part of it at the same time using her vectors and her normal hands.Between the crashing of the door opening and the commotion coming from the kitchen, Kanshin became too curious. She stopped the kiss between her and Hido and smiled apologetically. "Be right back." She gave a quick kiss before following the clangs and clatter of knives and pans before finally winding up in the door way of the kitchen. She poked her head in curiously to see Kikyo molding a dumpling in her hand. "Kikyo-sempai, you're cooking? Since when have you been able to cook?..... Oh gosh, please tell me you don't still add a pound of sugar to everything you cook, still!" She quickly ran into the kitchen, passing Kia with out noticing there was a child sitting on the counter. She went over to everything, inspecting it quickly before sighing with a thankful smile, the tufts of hair that stuck up at the top like puppy ears seeming to droop down in thankfulness too.Kikyo huffed and continued what she was doing, ignoring Kanshin's comment. "No. I stopped doing that..... 5 days ago. You know, I never knew there were instructions on how to cook."Kanshin continued smiling, a blank look on her face, though, as she blinked a few times. "You've never once read a recipe in your life? Well, I guess it all makes sense now. Are you making red bean soup? I love~ red bean soup~!""I wasn't planning on doing so....""Well.... Can we make some? .... Pretty please~?""Yeah, I guess."Kanshin squealed in delight and spun around to face the fridge when she saw Kia there for the first time. She kept that perky smile on her face, but once more she blinked blankly before jumping back in surprise and pointing a finger at her. "Oh my gosh! Some one broke into the mansion! We have to tell Hido-kun!" She went to go run out of the kitchen, but half a step later she was jerked back and fell on her butt, whimpering slightly. The vector that had grabbed Kanshin stayed on the back of her collar as Kikyo glanced over her shoulder. "Would you relax? I let her in here. She's our new member. Say hi to the girl."

-=Ooc=- By the way, just as a heads up, I will be gone tomorrow through Wensday on a mini vacation type of thing. I'll reply as soon as I get back, so if you can wait on me, that would be wonderful. Thankies! ^_^
Kia blinks, then smiles apologectly at Kikyo, catching her expression, and cocks her head agian, gazing at the woman as she continued to pull strange foods out of the box without using her hands, and action that puzzled the girl to no end. Easily, she quietly slides off the counter, curiosity getting the better of her, and stands a little ways off, studying the woman work with interest. The child's ears almost seem to perk as she hears footsteps comming, and she turns to see a strange woman poking her head through the door. Kia blinks in surprise, then lets out a little yelp as the woman dashes past her, causing the girl to instincively leap back onto the counter, eyes and ears alert. 'I'm just over reacting...' her common sense scolded her, but past experience had proved before that you couldn't be too sure, or safe for that matter, and reacting the way she did was mostly out of instinct anyway, an instinct that had kept her alive so far. Kia sniffs the air and takes in this newcommer's scent and looks quickly, though she assumed that this person was one of Kikyo's companions. When observing that Kikyo was not bothered by this new presence, Kia calmed, accepting the stranger and plops back down onto the counter, her hands clinging onto the counter's edge between her knees. She didn't understand most of the terms the two women were saying, but she payed close attention, trying to decifer their meanings. Then, Kia's calmness disipated agian as the strange woman turned to her and let out a surprised screech, instantly making the girl tense on the countertop agian. ~Would you relax? I let her in here. She's our new member. Say hi to the girl.~ Kia caught Kikyo say and, forcing her natural skidishness down, turns to gaze at the woman one more time, warry. 'This person is really wierd...wierder than those other people....' she comments in her head, not wanting to be the first to introduce herself. 'She's.......what is it? Crazy? Annoying? Obnoxious? Yes! That's it! Obnoxious Lady.'

((It's ok. I think Mythic forgot about us. sweatdrop )) Kanshin blinked her brilliant red eyes several times in confusion, pouting slightly, before looking up to Kia. It was pretty odd, the situation. Why would Kikyo have any interest in this young girl? With Kanshin, it was (at the beginning) because Kanshin's parents made quite a lot of money. This girl, on the other hand, didn't look as though she came from a rich family. It was quite the mystery, but she figured either the girl had persuaded her much the same way Kanshin had into letting her stick with the temperamental Soshi or she had some rare clan ability. She wasn't sure which ws which, but either way Kikyo couldn't resist letting the child join. Well, even though she seemed uncertain, Kanshin gently put her hands onto the vector gripping her top and made it release her before standing up and bowing to Kia. "Hello~! My name's Kanshin Enkou~! I'm from Hidden Cloud and I like red bean soup~!" She stood up and tilted her head to the side, grinning widely as her ponytail almost seemed to wag like a happy puppy's tail. Kikyo rolled her golden eyes at her companion, going back to focusing on what she was doing. "Kanshin, you have issues. Why can't you greet people like a normal person?" Kanshin turned to Kikyo, an innocent look on her face, as she blinked a few times. Clearly, Kanshin never saw the wrong in how she introduced herself. Oh well! "But, Kikyo-sempai, you're idea of a normal greeting is whispering into someone's ear something that makes them look like they're going to wet themselves. That doesn't seem any more normal than what I say or do..." Kikyo huffed slightly glancing over her shoulder as she began cooking the rice and chicken. "Just a little reminder to them what'll happen if they mess with me. Serves 'em right." Kanshin smiled nervously and gave a laugh just as such, the tufts of hair flattening against her head slightly. She then turned her attention back to Kia, smiling cheerfully once more and tilting her head curiously. "What's your name and where do you come from?" Despite the fact that she was wearing an engagement ring (if Kia took any note to the Akatsuki ring on her left hand's ring finger and wondered it's meaning), Kanshin herself was very much like child. Very different from Kikyo who had no shame. Kanshin had to learn stuff like that about Kikyo the hard (and often most embarrassing) way(s). If anything, the two could be seen as polar opposites, despite the fact that they both had snow white hair.
