Iori nodded sharply. Then he noticed that Kitty was working. He looked to Corrigan and asked him, "So how long ago did Kitty show up?"

Placing a gentle hand on the younger man's shoulder and smiling, Iori answered, "No, you didn't do anything wrong, Corey. In fact, it was a good thing you had her working. She can help pay off some debt that her older sister owes me for the earlier theft of my bear Pookie. There is a reason why Pookie has to stay in top condition. My life depends on that bear. If it gets stolen or torn up, well, lets just say bad things happen to me. I put part of my spirit in that bear. If it's destroyed, I die. Viper has to pay for surgery done to me because of what she did, so with Kitty working, as a volunteer, then she gets half of what the bill is for the customers and half goes towards the hospital bill. You see, unlike in most areas of this planet, my section has areas with high costs involved. I do not like charging my customers for the food they eat, but this is why I put on the menus that it is temporary and it is going towards a good cause because it is."

For a moment Iori was stunned at Corrigan's reaction, but then he realized just how much the kid meant to him. Stepping out of the hug after Corrigan released the grip, Iori then sighed and said, "Corey, I understand how you feel about your parents and your fear to move all the time, but please understand this, while I am indeed immortal, there will be a time when you are going to have to try and summon the courage to face up to Dee and to Terry. You cannot always be hiding here. Look, I do appreciate the help. You are one of my best employees, but please, keep what I said in mind, okay?"

This made Iori want to start pacing, but he knew the question would pop up eventually. He answered honestly, "There are some people in Dee's world who think that Trunks is a bit too popular if you know what I mean. They think he takes advantage of others because of the fact that he is a talented young man. Sometimes even I get envious of that kid. But, there is one thing that I would never do, unlike what that group you mentioned did, is I would never take vengence on someone just because I am jealous of someone's popularity. I just wish that my son Blaze and the Akatsuki could realize that there is no reason to be upset at the fact that Trunks is popular. Trunks never really wanted the fame in the way that he got it either. Oh sure, he duels in championship matches daily and gets hounded by the press by it, but when you see him on television, I am sure you keep in mind what he always says. He tells everyone that being popular and talented isn't always a good thing."

Professor Yagami was beginning to find this quite amusing and was starting to laugh at Corrigan's curiosity. He then replied, "No, what Monopoly is doing is not the same thing as what happened to Trunks. I, in fact, agree with the akatsuki on this one. Monpoly exploited what he heard from his parents as a baby that the Truesdales are known for their genius and their so-called curse. He let himself be a target just for the fun of it. That boy has darkness in him. Just like his uncle Z Truesdale. The akatsuki unfortunately does not see the uncanny similarities, but heck, I am not one to talk on that subject. Now, Corrigan, are we done this conversation? As amusing as I find your questions today, I must speak with Kitty."

Iori smiled as he watched Corrigan get back to serving customers. He had to admit that he loved seeing Corrigan so happy. There were times when Iori wondered whether or not taking in the young Bogard boy if that was such a bright idea. It turned out for the best, which was something that Iori could not feel pleased about.

Now heading in the direction Kitty was in, Iori then spoke to her, "Hey, Kitty. What brings you here? I heard that Corrigan hired you as a waitress to help with Viper's debt."

"All right, well, let's hope for everyone's sake that Blaze wins. I know for a fact that he will see to it that Monopoly is out of the akatsuki's way and everyone else's in a fair manner, but whomever his opponent is... I doubt they have the same intentions as everyone else. From what Bardock told me, since I went to go pick him up from Dee's lounge, Sama is whom Blaze is facing up against. Sama is a saiyan don't forget and is still a part of Bardock's saiyan army. So, since Raditz is Monopoly's grandfather, and Bardock is Monopoly's great grandfather, what do you think is going to happen? Remember, the saiyans can be sneakier than the Orochi especially when it comes to challenges. Saiyans are known to fight dirty and unfairly. Sama might just be thinking of only temporarily getting rid of Monopoly just to win the contest. And as soon as the contest is over... back comes Monopoly. I might not be in the Akatsuki myself, for... understandable reasons, but that doesn't mean I can't think that the leader was stupid to let Sama in the running. I guess he'll learn the hard way if Sama should win."

That very last thought made Iori smirk, and then he said, "Mind you, if the Akatsuki leader needs a Yagami style lesson, I am not going to stop him from making a complete fool of himself."

Corrigan managed to find some time to answer Kitty's question. He said, "No, not doom, saving more like. That bear in that cupboard... think of that bear as half of what Iori is. The gentler, softer side of the Professor is in that bear. Plus, lets face it, that bear is cute! As far as plushies go... top notch choice. If Iori is away from this castle for a good duration of time, the lands that he owns, they all fall to ruin. They die. They are destroyed for a time. That's why the stone pathway is there. The stone pathway is part of what Iori is. Its part of how Iori is immortal. That forest he has... its his more... darker side. The deeper you go into it, the more dangerous it is. The Addams Family lives somewhere within those trees. So, you could say they are Iori's neighbors. Everything in these eastern lands, is his and is very much a part of Iori. If Iori loses his immortality or that bear is destroyed, this section will be no more and there will be more trouble than anyone can ever handle. We had seen the start of it once when Iori needed Fasha as his wife, just as much as he needs Bardock as his husband. The balanced Marriage triangle. Because for the majority of his life Iori has failed at that or keeping one half alive, his time for that curse expired too quickly. Luckily for him, Mom was there to help. Mom has always had a connection to Iori that's more like racial deep. Like a saiyan bond. Or a ninja clan. Its tight. When Pookie's arms were torn... well, just be thankful that there wasn't any bloody mess from that. Mom was really swift in the repairs. Imagine having both of your shoulders dislocated."

Then Blaze showed up and added, "More like Pookie is a voodoo plushie. There, is that simple enough for you Kitty? Whatever damage that bear takes is immediately inflicted on Iori."
