Syx raised an eyebrow and adjusted her weight onto one leg, her hip tilting slightly. "So now you're going to blame me for all this, hmm? If you haven't noticed, I have been applying criminals to help me out, but I'm not going to send them off to die just because it makes things a little easier. If they volunteer for it, it's all good, but I don't use people like tools. You can call that failure if you want, but I don't just wanna live, I wan't to still be able to live with myself as well." Her eyes narrowed. "And if you think I'm going to stand aside, you have another thing coming."

But, we are soldiers, and this a war. Not all of us will have the benefit of leaving here alive."

Your little lectures aren't going to change the way I work though, as laughable as you see them, I stand by my morals and I stand strong. "We should all probably set out to the bridge, to be ready to use the cards when we've gathered them."
She glanced at Xeen. "You two are heading to the med center, I assume. Try not to blow yourselves up."

Xeen opened his mouth to respond, pausing to see the newcomer, and stopped.
"Of course, speaking up is ALWAYS appreciated." The words were accompanied by a fitting, and rather irrate look.
