Suddenly, Sam had her arms wrapped around him. To say the least, Atem was happy. It was like Sam snapped when she say Tea. Well, Tea antagonized her enough for Sam's actions to be understandable. "I'm sorry too," Atem said rather easily then he thought it was going to be. That wasn't so hard. "I just didn't want you to get in trouble, more importantly I didn't want you to get hurt," he said using his one arm to hug her back. He moved his head away to look at her, "Tea didn't think twice to use Yugi to try and get to me, she would probably do anything to break us apart now that she knows we're together. And that means attacking you, mentally and possibly physically. I'm not sure if she would, but I wouldn't put it past her." He brushed her hair away from her face and then caressed her face. He must have been a fool to yell at her. He had completely forgotten why he was mad in the first place.

Joey could simply fall asleep in Kaiba's arms- he was so comfortable. However, it seemed that it had ended- he had to leave. What now? They made up, right? "Can.... can I see you again, maybe later?" he said in the most timid voice he had ever used. He looked down, a bit scared to look up at Kaiba. He wanted to probably see him eventually again, right?

Akiko's heart fluttered when Yugi raised her chin and kissed her. She loved how he would randomly come over to kiss her. It really made her feel loved, wanted, and cared for. She laughed a bit when she heard she would be practicing everyday. She put her hands on her hips, closed her eyes, and smiled greatly, "I'm up for the challenge! Bring on the hard work!" She reopened her eyes and snuggled back up against him. "I'm going to try my hardest, so you can be proud okay?" she said rather cutely. "I love you," she said as she kissed him on the cheek.

[[I was thinking, when they get to the tournament, the fight between Sam and Atem with the fan girls should be much worse/longer then this. Like, they are mad at each other for a while (not the whole tournament- that's too much). I think, after the tournament when we do the ancient egypt past thing- before they go back in time Akiko and Yugi can have a fight. Possibly thinking, because he tries to tell her about the Millennium items and him and Atem sharing a body and she thinks this is an attempt to make her think he was crazy and make her break up with him. I dunno. Also, at the tournament, should there end up being some type of bad guy thing happen? Like, some type of problem that always happens with there tournaments?]]

[[Oooo, yes, a small break up would make for an interesting plot for Atem and Sam. They probably miss each other badly during so. That should be during the tournament, the fan girls right? Perhaps Akiko should get aggitated too? But definately no where as mad as Sam gets XD.

Ooo, the America thing sounds good. Perhaps, there is a job offer for her dad in America and that stresses Akiko out dramatically. But they end up relocating her dad in an office near where they live already. Then Yugi can try to explain to her about the Millennium stuff- being she was already stressed about the moving, it sets her off. She might also think he is trying to break up with her because her family was going to move. Haha, she'll definately think he is going nuts. I'm not sure if they are going to take a break- because I was thinking that during the arguement, the flash back happens (they pass out or what ever)> Also I think before the past thing happens, Atem should mention to Sam how he felt like he's known her for a long time. Thus knowing her in Egypt. Whatcha think?]]

Atem pressed the side of his head against her head as she nuzzled him. "I'm just upset that she intended to get to you like that. I just want you to know that what she said was a lie. Your the most beautiful woman I know Sam- body and soul," he said to her in the soft (yet sexy) voice he mainly used around her. She may have overreacted, but she did have a right to be angry at Tea. As he rubbed her back and nuzzled his head against her, the pup became bored and started barking to get somebodies attention. Atem popped his head up, realizing he hadn't showed Sam yet. He pulled away from her and brought the carrying case to the front of him. "Um," he said unsure how to present his gift to her.

Joey couldn't hold back the smile. Ok, so he forgave Seto. He was just happy he really didn't take advantage of him. Though he still didn't understand Seto's fear with commitment, he figured something was better then nothing. And, he had to somewhat like Joey. He could have anybody right? But he came to him. "Ok, I'll be over later," he said as he watched Seto leave the dressing room he was in. That's right, dressing room! He was supposed to be trying stuff on! Poor Mai was probably waiting for him out there all this time. Well, he had to try something on. He took off his shirt and started taking his pants off. He didn't get very far as somebody busted through his dressing room. He swung around and saw Mai at the door. "MAI!" he said using one arm to cover his torso and the other to keep his pants up- only part of his boxers were showing. He had no idea why he was embarrassed to have Mai look at him half naked- it was probably the initial shock of somebody storming into the little room.

"Good! I wouldn't have it anyother way!" she said happy that he was going to take her seriously. She couldn't help but blush a bit at the compliments. He really believed in her and that aspired her to learn and do well. And hearing he was proud of her, that was something nobody outside of her family has told her. Obviously your family is proud of you, but hearing it come from somebody who isn't related by blood, and somebody who you love, really means something. She smiled widely as she giggled a bit- his pout was so cute. "Well how about this kiss?" she said as she placed her lips to his and gave him a long and romantic kiss. She pulled away slowly to see his reaction- positive it would be a good reaction.

Atem couldn't help but smile at Sam's enthusiasm. The pup really made her happy- like there was any doubt. "What are you going to name your new pup?" he asked curious to know. He pulled out a leash that was given to him for the dog. He clipped it onto his collar so he wouldn't run off any where.

"I... er... well," Joey said unsure how to tell her what just happened. She was about to run after him but Joey pulled up his pants and grabbed her arm. "No Mai! It's ok!" he said showing her that he was smiling. "Things are better now. I know this is going to sound crazy, but he came and told me what really happened. He didn't do what he said he did- he told Akiko the same thing," he said trying to convince her. Joey didn't quite get the whole picture- all he knew was that Seto didn't hate him and actually wanted him.

Akiko giggled a bit, seeing that he was obviously happy with the kiss. But she didn't get anything out because Yugi came back to kiss her. She still blushed a bit when they kissed, not from embarassment or anything like that. Just simply the blood rushed to her head. She sat comfortably in his lap and held the kiss for as long as she could. She wrapped her arms around him in a loose yet comfortable way.

"But..." Atem said when he heard Sam couldn't keep the puppy. Deep down, he knew she would say that. But he already bought the dog, and Sam love the pup so much. They couldn't go back and return him. He was about to oppose Kaiba saying no to keeping the dog, but didn't want to get into another fight- that was for sure. "I'll...... keep him," Atem said, the words basically spilled out of his mouth. He didn't care at the moment if Grandpa would say no, if even if he knew how to care for a dog, but he had to find a way to keep the pup for Sam. He cleared his throught and resaid it, "I'll keep the dog at my house. At least then you can come over and see him. Maybe when he is older and trained more- he can live with you and you can keep him hidden. But as a puppy, he might be too hyper to keep hidden." Atem had to suggest something, they had to keep him somehow. And he couldn't help but hope this may lead to Sam sleeping over more often. He still felt bad though, hiding the dog from Kaiba meant Sam not seeing him as much.

Joey bit his lower lip. He didn't want to believe that, he wanted to stay as optimistic as possible. It was rather innocent, and naive. "But, it has to be true. I mean, why would he go through the trouble of helping me when I was on the street last night?" he said using the only bit of evidence he could possibly use. It was rather sad, it was obvious Joey was still head over heels for Seto. And now that he really didn't do anything to him, he wanted to be with him again. His head was clouded. He looked back at Mai then looked back down. What was he supposed to do?

Akiko blinked after they kissed and put her finger on her chin to think. "Well, there's a lot to the states. First off, the school system is WAY different. I mean, you go into a public school and the kids don't wear uniforms- you wear what you want. As long as it follows the dress code. School is shorter too, a bit laid back compared to here," she started saying. She remembered when she first started going to school in Japan. She wanted to cry seeing how long kids stayed in school compared to back home. "I think everything is a bit laid back in the states. Europe is even more laid back. It depends where you are- like the South is way different then the north, and east and west are different as well. California is a lot different then where I lived- on the east side of the US. Let's see, what else," Akiko said thinking of more things to mention. "Personally, I think people are much more behaved here though- especially teenagers. And I like that games generally come out faster here. But it takes a long time for Japan to get music from the US over here- that's a bit of a bummer. What else do you want to know? Like, what stuff they have over there to do?" she said and finished with a question. She then smiled and put her hands together, "That would be so cool! A vacation sounds awsome!" [[hee hee, explaining the US to a japanese person XD]]

[[That's a good idea, yea because I really want to see Sam have the puppy. They can bring the pup to her house- thinking Kaiba isn't there. But he is, and JOey may have just arrived there and he helps persuade him to keep it. As for the pup's name, how about Pharoah? It's cute! What type of dog was it again?]]

Atem smiled and wrapped one arm around her shoulder. He looked at the puppy and said, "Well now that he is yours, you can name him." He pet the puppy lightly on the head- he was growing quite attached to him too. "Sure, we can get some toys for him," Atem said though a bit unsure what type of toys dogs had. He tried to remember what Akiko's dog had: a ball, a bone, stuff like that he assumed. "And perhaps a new collar, they just gave us a temporary one," he added. He left Sam to decide what her pet needed. Neither him or Yugi had ever had a pet before so this was new to him. However, he enjoyed sharing the experience with Sam.

Joey smiled, glad that Mai at least kind of understood. Even though it seemed she didn't trust Kaiba, she at least trusted Joey's judgement. Joey looked a the clothes, he would like to dress to impress. There was one clothing combo he favorited, it was a black button down shirt with a collar- a bit loose. The material was light, quiet comfortable too. The pants that went with it were very dark (almost black) navy jeans that were somewhat tight (not so much tight but not baggy). They were very clean cut. Joey lifted the pair up and said, "This is my favorite," he smiled.

"Well, there are amusement parks, a lot of beaches, and the dinning.... California food is delicous," she said mentally drooling in her mind. "A lot of the entertainment revolves around beach-like things. Oh they have tons of borderwalks on the shore! I think you would like that! That's something the west coast and east coast share- boardwalks with lots of rides and arcades!" she said enthusiastically. She had almost forgotten about those- that was her favorite past time with her friends back in the states. "They probably have tourist attractions too, I've only been to California like, twice. But it was fun," she added. [[lol, I've never been to California XD]]

Atem looked unsure at first about going to her house. And it was because of her brother. But she said he wouldn't be home until late so that made him feel better. "Ok, just dirrect me to one and we'll go," he said happily as he got into the car. After buckling up his seat belt, he heard the name Sam chose. He automatically smiled at her. "That's a great name," he said realizing he was the inspiration for the name. Atem tilted his head as he watched Phaorah look around curiously. Phaorah barked at a car that parked next to them. Atem sweetdropped and said, "Looks like he's curious about everything." Atem started up the car but left it in park. He leaned over to Sam and kissed her on the cheek, "I love you sweety." Phaorah wagged his tail and looked up at both of them.

"Yup, that's all this time. Thanks for getting this for me Mai," he said as he took the other clothes to put them on the return rack. He took the clothing he choose and walked with her to the check-out line. "Ya getting anything for yourself?" he asked curiously. He had no idea what happened to her while he was in the dressing room with Seto. Well, she was found innocent- so it wasn't too bad.

"Ooo, that's a good question," she said looking up at the ceiling with her eyes while in thought. "Ummm.... that I haven't been. Well, I've been to Italy, that was a fun little trip. Oh so many choices...... I would love to go to Hawaii- I heard they have something there called a 'pucca dog' it's a scrumptous looking hot dog. Or perhaps Greece, that's the other place I would really like to go at one point or another. The UK sounds fun too, some yummy fish and chips," she said as if thinking out loud. "But Hawaii looks interesting...... and It's the closets so that one wins!" she added with a big cute smile. "What about you? Where would you want to go? Have you traveled anywhere outside of Japan? I know you wen to America for tournaments, so besides that," she said interested.

Atem drove as he followed her directions. It didn't take too long to get to the pet shop. As he pulled into the parking lot he asked, "I know it's a pet store, but can pets actually go in?" He only asked because most stores disallowed animals to enter. He saw a man walk his golden retriever into the store. "I guess so," he said as he parked the car.

"Why would anybody accuse you of shoplifting? I mean, you have no where to hide it. Your purse is small and your clothes can't hide it," Joey said shocked. He was also basically saying Mai's clothing didn't cover a lot. He didn't mean to put it that way- hell that's how he first developed his crush on her! He took the bag from the shopkeeper who seemed disgruntled from the comment of both Mai and Joey. They began walking out of the store. "Thanks again Mai," he said feeling greatful.

"Yea, but I still think I wanna go to Hawaii first. I mean if I ever get a chance to travel somewhere. Would you come with me if I went or if my family went on vacation somewhere?" she said not realizing that Yugi had the idea of taking her. "Egypt? Oh wow that must have been really cool! You went there to...? visit?" she said completing his sentence. "Egypt looks really interesting, I would like to visit there as well. But not too long, there government is really stern and crazy! If you steal something from ancient grounds- they'll kill you. Or even if it is found in your possession. They don't mess around. But none-the-less, I'd like to go there too at one point," she said. She looked at him and smiled, she couldn't resist kissing him, so she didn't hold back. She gave him a gentle and sweet kiss on the lips.

Atem got out and closed his door. He followed Sam into the store. He glanced around the store with his eyes. It smelt kinda funny. He looked back at Sam and smiled, "That's not a problem at all." He put his arm around her shoulder and looked down at Pharoah, he seemed rather enthused about the store. Atem looked over at the cats that were kept in another room but could be seen through the window. Though Pharoah had grown on him quite a lot, he still prefered cats. He slid his arm down to hold Sam's free hand. "Can we, take a look at the cats really quick?" he asked.

Joey started to walk out of the store with Mai and through the mall. Though it seemed rather unlike Joey, he blushed and stuttered a bit when Mai asked him about what he and Seto were doing in the room. "I er.... we..... um ah..... just talking....." he said toungue tied and as if guilty. Joey thought it was dumb, he had never been this shy or embarrassed about anything sexual. In high school all he would do is lift up girls skirts, sneak into locker rooms, and brag about how he would bang certain girls- typical guy stuff. He did that back then to try and feel something, he thought back then it was because he didn't have enough exposure to women, he was wrong. But now, he found himself stumbling over his own feat- metaphorically. He turned his head away but looked back at Mai with his eyes. This wasn't like him, he was proud Joey- he was the one who probably wouldn't think twice about bragging about some score in public. But really, this was something new to him. He was caught a little off guard.

Akiko pulled away slightly to ask, "Oh, the upside down triangle thing your brother wears?" As soon as she finished her sentence she gave him a kiss back. It was as if one would say something then kiss the other when they were done. Rather amused, Akiko giggled to herself. She cuddled next to him, but then heard something at the door. It was scratching noise that spooked her that second. She didn't expect it, so she clung onto Yugi and yipped cutely. Realizing it was just a sound she looked at the door and looked puzzled. "That was weird," she said as she didn't hear it again. There was another scratch at the door. It then clicked in her mind and she got up, "Hold on a second." She walked over to the door and opened it- in came Spirit and onto the bed she jumped. Spirit curled up and laid on her bed. Akiko gritted her teeth playfully and said, "She has her own bed, and yet she wants to lay in MY bed."
