Kat walked down alone, and turned the corner into an empty area. She slowly began to walk around.

xhel stumbled through the docks , tears still in her eyes from before, her anger flaring as she crushed a nearby dumpster with her bare hands and tossing it into the ocean.

Kat heard a loud noise, and something splashing. She began to get a bit frightened, and looked around.

xhel tensed up when she sensed fear in the general area.
"oh....great" she thought.
she lept onto a warehouse using different footholds throughout. she dropped down onto a lightpost above kat, silently watching the frightened girl.
"don't be fearful child." she said soothingly to get kat's attention.

"Wh--who are you?" Kat asked. She wanted to be a vampire, but she thought that this wasn't one. She thought it was someone who would end up killing her.

"that is a tough question. i'm beginning to wonder that myself." she commented as she hopped down in front of kat.
"as for what i am...as i assume you wonder. i am what you might call....one of the dead amongst the living. in laymans((sp??)) terms..." she bared her fangs.

xhel moved swiftly to kat and tilted her head to meet eyes.
"look up my child...that future is no longer yours." she said before sinking her teeth into kat's neck.
their minds connected. "this will be painful at first...don't struggle and don't resist the next stage in your turning." she said telepathically. she knew these words from her own turning....a day that would never escape her memories.
