Damien was confused, all he remembered was getting out of the cage and he was here....and why did he feel so drained, like all his energy was gone. Damien stood up trying to act like he knew what was going on but didn't. Damien hung his head slightly. Drag us back...ugh, I'm so confused, Dmaien thought holding his head.

[not sure if ive followed the story properly]
Maeve looked up when she caught a whisp of thought run through her mind. An urge built in her stomach that she could not repress. In a raspy voice Maeve called out pittifully "Is...Is someone there?" She waited to a reply and wined at the pain of speaking. She prayed in her head that someone was out there. Someone who would take her in, It had been so long since she had served someone. A longing grew within her.

Alex had been walking through the shop and heard a voice. He followed the sound of it and saw a girl in a cage. "Hey what's your name?" He asked her giving her eye to eye contact.

In shock she fell into the shadows of the cage. Maeve eyed the man cautiously and only after seeing he wasnt a harm to her she answered in a quite voice. "I...Im Maeve....Who are you?" She let her face show in the darkness. Her pale blue eyes were sunken and sorrowful, her skin pale as a doves feathers.

Schuyler sighed. "Trying to get a comrade in trouble is not productive either. I may just have to return both of you." She looked directly at 'dragon-boy', and said, "You look lost. So I'll explain again, in case I wasn't clear enough. This is a trial. I have purchased both you and Edward, and you are competing to see who can be more useful. The winner will remain with me, which is a much more pleasant fate than the loser. The loser will be returned to the slave dealers."
She pinched the bridge of her nose. "Why do I feel like I'm dealing with two-year-olds?"

When Schuyler said slave Damien felt like he was punched in the stomach, thats the nightmare I woke up to, I'm a slave, Damien yelled in his head but acted like he already knew that. Damien crossed his arms and found himself tembeling the slightest bit.

"You look scared," Schuyler said, watching him carefully. "And you still look a little lost. I have to wonder why."

Damien growled trying to make it seem like he wasn't scared but of corse this was a horrible attempt. Damien almost wanted to run but for some reason it felt like he tried that before...

Ciprianus and Schuyler exchanged silent words. "He says that your personality is completely different. A split-personality, perhaps? Amnesia? Please, explain, before I lose my temper."
She gazed at him icily.
