"It's not really that these kind of gorey games interest me or anything. I mean... I'm no gamer geek. This is more of a... stress-reliever." Khyn said as she furiously hacked at the monster. One final magic bolt and the creature exploded, leaving a gore-filled screen behind. "Ewww, oh my gawd that's gross!" Khyn exclaimed, glad it was only graphics on a screen. As the battle music faded, Khyn turned to look at the boy. "My interests?!" She shrugged. "Same as anyone I guess... school, friends, music," she listed the appropriate answers.

~Great~ said that oh so lovely voice Fiasco was becoming acustomed to. ~Your day gets more complicated as the minutes pass.~ Perfect, thought Fiasco. The voice is sarcastic too. He became aware of the newcomer from a sound that he interpreted as disgust. "In that order?" Fiasco asked of Khyn. "Surely you must have some hobbies. Building bridges maybe?" His tone then changed to a question "Destroying bridges?" He continued on without giving her time to answer "Painting perhaps?" he paused briefly, unable to get the thought of bridges out of his head "On bridges?" He then turned to the girl that was playing the game next to good ole Dungeon Wizards and said jokeingly "There's spots for four you know. I assure you my ego doesn't take up that much room." He motioned to the unoccupied spot on his right.

((OK a few things. I didn't stop posting and sorry to you all who enter act with. I have things going on IRL right now that is making it spastic. Mainy HOLIDAYA! which i strongly dislike and work..... But I do try to post as often as I can. Which should be more after the new year.. Any whoos *claps hands* now to my post... Sory dragon!))
The young waiter raised his eyebrows at the girl flashing her a dazzling smile. "Ok you got it.. Hey MARGE Two Orders of Half the menu.. Sins regular times two." he bellowed to the back.. which ellicited a wonder curse from the female cook. Sin smile and patted Shana on the shoulder. "WOW I hope you can eat it all.... that is half the actual menu..... and I would love to but I just started yesterday dear..... I might have to if those jerks show up again though. And besides I am looking forward to dissing that egotisitcal p***k of a gym/p.e. teacher anyways... No one insults me, or my students." she said with a vicous tone to her voice.
In her mind yesterday as she was walking into the teachers lounge before her meeting with the principal she recalled what Mr. Thompson said. "OH GREAT A child teacher to teach the retarded students here. Just great, I bet the little girlie teacher still plays with dolls and wet nurses off of her mommy. HEHEEH! I can't wait to meet her." he had said just as she quietly opened the door, eye flat and going whiter by the second. She remembered gripping the door knob so tight it was crushed and ripped from the door. And all she said was. "OPPS! I guess I got the wrong room and sorry about the door." AS she had turned and left leaving them all horrified at what she just did.

"Erm.." Tara looked up abruptly, startled. "Uh...sure..." she said, smiling briefly. Come on, stop being so shy, treat them like your friends, she told herself, and moved over to the third controller. Awkwardly she picked a summoner character and entered the game, unable to quench the annoying voice that told her the kid had just been being nice and was really kind of annoyed that she was there.
Without further comment, due to a lack of anything to say, Tara got ready for the next battle. She was really very good with the summoner character, having played enough to know how to employ all her best attacks at the right times.
She knew she should probably say something, but she didn't know these people...well, she knew their names, from seeing them around school: Fiasco and Khyn, they were. It was a bit weird seeing them together, but... Anyway, she said nothing and just stared straight ahead at the screen.

"Example," Fiasco continued without skipping a beat "Reading. I like to read, which often as nothing to do with school. Though I will concede that music has nothing to do with school." He looked to the newcomer and with a certain sembelance of familiarity, asks "How about you? Your interested in things outside of school, right?" ~Introduceing yourself wouldn't hurt.~ "I'm Fiasco, by the way." He lifts his hand off of the attack button to shake Tara's hand and soon realizes that that may not have been the best strategy, as his character died yet again. "Nuts, perhaps shakeing hands should wait until later." he said while pumping another token into the machine.

Shana blinked at the much too friendly smile, feeling her ears p***k up slightly then quickly drop low against her head underneath her floppy hat as she blushed, wondering why he was looking at her like that and why he wouldn't leave her alone. Shana looked at Sin and the friendly doggish grin came across her face, her blush already fading. "Of course I can! My stomach is like a bottomless pit." he said, lightly patting her stomach. Shana pouted a bit, leaning back as she did so. "I still wish you would go.." she mumbled, her hands still resting on her stomach.

Carefully concentrating on the game, Tara almost missed the question. "Oh, erm," she stuttered again, quickly executing a powerful attack that would take a few seconds. Then she smiled and said, "Well, I spend a lot of my time here, and I really like video games...I'm also on the color guard team...and I do a bit of writing and reading, too, and singing's a big thing...basically I'm the typical video game fanatic." She laughed a little as she always did when she felt awkward, complete with the grin that said, "Yeah, I don't know what I'm doing but I'm gonna laugh at myself anyway."

Khyn shrugged at Fiasco's questioning. "I've painted before... old bedrooms and a fence our old house had.... what's your obsession with bridges though?" She looked at him quickly as he invited some strange girl to join them. She peered around him slightly to get a look at the newcomer, but a flashing of her character brought her attention back to the game. Her time was low so she popped another token in. "You know her?" she asked Fiasco.

Fiasco smiled at Khyn's question "Seeing as I just introduced myself to her, I don't find that likely." He did of course ignore the obsession of bridges comment. far more amuseing to let her think what she wants. For now at least. He looked to Tara breifly, and squinted as if lost in deep thought. "I've seen you around though, I'm sure of it." ~Tara~ "Tara, right?" Fiasco was suddenly deeply aware of the contradiction of his previous words and with the knowledge of her name. Curse that infernal voice. Shouldn't have listened to it. He resigned himself to figureing out an explanation that didn't involve him being a stalker later. He then, to change the subject to avoid further scrutiny, said to Tara "Once again though, I'm Fiasco and this charming young lady is my freind Khyn." ~Good save. You realized she didn't introduce herself either? Does no one have manners anymore? Besides yourself of course. Far be it for me to insult you.~ Fiasco, not being a stranger to insunuations, caught the insulting tone on the tale end of the voices comments. Only God himself knows how a voice in one's head carrys tone.

Tara nodded and muttered, as usual, "Yeah. Tara. I've seen you guys around."
Finally she got herself together and forced herself to make eye contact when she spoke. "Nice to meet you both officially," she smiled, and then she gasped, noticing that her character had been taking a few hits. Her hands flew back to the controls.

Khyn paid scant attention to the two's conversation, or at least it appeared as if she barely were. She kept her eyes focused on the game, nodding briefly as Fiasco introduced her to the girl. When her character's life started flashing again, announcing that her time was almost up, she reached down and gathered up her bookbag. "I should probably be heading home," she sad casually.

Khyn looked over her shoulder at the boy and raised a taunting eyebrow. "So then you can know where I live?! That would make stalking me too easy on you!" She laughed slightly. "You can drop me at a bus top though if you want to."
