Rhoslyn Vernal Hate to disappoint y'all, but grades are gonna be late thanks to me. I got home 7 hours ago. My best friend got thrown off a horse and stepped on; he has to get surgery because his intestines are bleeding. Needless to say, I'm going to be even less available than before. *prepares to go back to the second, better equipped hospital* The other judges and I might end up taking your bulk. Likely Ecks.

Two to go. You don't get comments because the fights were too short, aside from a few people who made grammar fails or whatnot. Also I'm in a bloody ******** hurry.
ALSO.
Love Medicine is a <******** up book. For a summary:
Lulu Lamartine runs off to sleep with her cousin who has a cat farm. Like, a cat meat farm. It later implies that at 7, she did something related to a dead dude's dong - specifically, it says "that's why I did the worst" and a few lines later talks about "his pants fell off". Also she's a total ******** whore and has like ten babydaddies and likes married men. And this Nector Kashpaw is a hardcore slacker who apparantly had sex with some dude for the lulz and kept cheating on his wife with Lulu, and even had a kid with her. Oh, and he also raped Lulu after she wanted to marry someone else, and then decided to marry her, and then burned her ******** house down. Oh, and the grandson of Nector named Albertine sleeps with her cousin Henry Junior at 15 after he gets back from Nam, which is the son of the brother of Lulu's third husband. Oh yeah, and June something...
you know what? My essay is done. I don't have to keep track of all this ******** family tree, it's ******** terrible.

Also, Ethnic America?
It's like a combination of high school history, an overview of how minority pretty much equals some sort of inequality, and some books to read and essays to write about it. It's basically English 300 goes PC with a hint of history.
I mean, it's not a bad class, it's just not presenting anything new.
Also, my teacher is a gay Indian. I dunno what tribe, but I'm pretty sure he's a homo. He's nice, anyway.

No, see, she put ******** symbols in there. Lulu is sugar. Marie (Nector's wife) is salt. June has some Jesus references thrown in. A lot of people ******** drown. There's metaphors and s**t like that turn what was otherwise a somewhat squicky but mostly okay novel into this intellectual mass of reflection and symbols and all manner of s[afvasi0hf a-sigh-dfhj[dfgpjdf[g ogjdfpog *head desk deks deks*

Fact: If a novel needs a bunch of symbolism to be good, then it isn't good. Its just an essay that was written improperly.
Sort of like Thomas Friedman's travesty "The World is Flat" in the sense of "WHY DID YOU WRITE THIS?"

It's not a bad read without the smartiepants s**t. Not a great read, not something I would have bought on my own steam, but if I knew it were at the satisfaction level I would get out of a casual read or three, I would have bought it on my own.
The SYMBOLAPHORAGORRIESMS just made me go HERP DE DERP, if you know what I mean.

OH RIGHT.
And my friend, he's probably gonna be okay. Somewhere around 2 AM, he went to UC Davis Medical Center and they're checking his blood levels. All today, he was bitching about how he couldn't eat anything but ice chips, and chew one piece of gum, once. Apparently, he has the equivalent of a blood blister on his intestine, and they've gotta make sure he's not internally bleeding; the doctors are just incompetent and keep going "Oh, you get surgery", and then going "No surgery for you!".
And thanks to me being nice, he got to have a girl visit. Such a romantic third date.

Rhos: Hey, if he feels well enough to complain, thats a good sign! As for Doctors... Unfortunately not even half of those ******** know what their talking about. The other half couldn't find their own a** in the dark with both hands! It's no wonder they are so confused.
