He grinned and gave her a thumbs up before unwrapping the bandages on his arm and looking it over. "You bet! It's healing nicely. It looks to be done bleeding, but I'm not pushing it." He re-wrapped it and made a fist.

He let out a relieved breath. He'd been doing research on sharing bloodline abilities, and his best theory was partial blood transfusion. That worked well, if the bloodtypes were the same, and since he was O-, giving wasn't a problem.
But the idea of a blood transfusion did not appeal to him.
"So you like it?!"

He grinned, "I thought you might. I was lucky to get to use it at all. You're a lot quicker than I remember." He smiled, then uncrossed his legs. "You said it was used on you before." It was almost as if he were humoring himself with this question, "Who used it?"

And how, exactly, does one get 'faster' at standing still?
