She laughed quietly at his response, which made her really believe that he was telling the truth the best he could, but he was still hiding something. Why he didn't come out and just say it himself...she did not know. She sniffled lightly, holding back tears as he patted her then looked at Naito. She smiled softly at him then backed away more, her ears twitched, picking up hat last word. She looked at Naito, "Another clue?" She frowned, looking at where he had been then shrugged and started back to camp. She had been there long enough, it was time for her to return and get some rest now. She had a lot to talk to Bale about now.

It was almost two hours later when Rose returned to the camp. She'd get maybe two hours of sleep, if she was lucky. Being dead tired, she fell on to her bedrooll, looking at Naito. "Sounds like something from a Mother Goose story," she complained to her friend. Naito just stared at Rose then gave her a gently nudge with her head and growled softly, a slight purr. Rose slowly closed her eyes, purring deeply herself, within minutes she was fast asleep.
-------------------------------------- While Rose was asleep, she was dreaming of the past once again. When she awoke, she wouldn't know if she dreamed it, because of her last statement before bed, or if it did happen to her.
A young girl that was about ten years old, by human standards, in pigtails was laying in her PJ's looking at her Father. Her father was sitting on the edge of her bed, reading a story from a book. Though was tired and just wanted to sleep, he knew her daughter liked the story for some reason. She was afraid of spiders, though, maybe it had to do with that, se thought to himself. The nursery rythme, the Spider and The Fly.
"The old spider kept trying and trying to catch the fly into his net and have him for his dinner, though he was going to share it with his friends, too.", he read from the book sitting infront of him. "Finally, the spider caught the fly, or so he had believed. The fly had actually came up with a great idea on a way to trick the spider into believing he had caught him. Then once the spiders turned there back on the little fly, the fly got loose of the net and killed all of the spiders himself.", he paused, looking at his daughter, "What's the morale of this story, Rosie, dear?"
The young girl, stared at her Father, thinking then smiled, "It means that just because you get caught in a trap, it doesn't mean that you're gonna get hurt. You can always turn it around on them." Her father smirked and nodded, "Very good, what else?" Rose titled her head, putting a finger on her chin, thinking harder before speaking, "Not to let your guard down, when you think you've won?.." The man laughed quietly and ruffled her hair, "Good enough little one."
--------------------------------------
Rose groaned slightly in her sleep, turning towards the direction of the fire, reaching out with her arms. "Daddy?", she asked in her sleep as if she wanted a hug from the man she was dreaming of.

It was a couple hours later, the sun had started to rise when she awoken. She looked over at her sleeping partner then to Naito before grabbing a few things from her bag and heading down to the lake that was nearby. She yawned quietly as she took her shoes and such off then moved into the water. She looked at Naito and nodded. "You know what to do.", she said as Naito growled then turned and ran off up a head further in the water.
Rose was in the lake for a while, washing her long hair in the water. She stood up, shivering badly, her clothes hanging about her, threatening to fall off, it wasn't for her belt. She looked up, and smirked, "Good, lets take them back up to camp.", she said to her friend.
The sun had been up for about an hour by the time they got back. Rose frowned then grabbed her jacket. She placed the jacket on the ground tthen went about, redoing the fire, but keeping it much smaller this time. She thought they'd eat and talk before heading off. Which would give her time to let her hair dry. There was enough wood from the night before, that Rose didn't wonder far to gather a bit more. She looked at her friend, then laughed quietly. Snapping her fingers, a small fire came to life on the wood, and started to burn quietly.

Bale turned over a bit than woke up. He streched to see the new day. He actually welcomed it for a change. He then looked at the fire and saw it dead to the flame. He stood up and stretched a bit more than started to pack his things. He than looked over and saw Rosie and watched her.

She smiled quietly, even though she felt more refreashed and awake, she was still tired and weary. "Mor-morning, Bale.", she greeted him quietly, trying not to meet his eyes. Her own eyes were slightly blood shot and kind of puffy from the crying the night before. Her tail twitched slightly as she watched Naito go to him, staring at him then dropped her head to his bags and started to sniff them. "I thnk she's hungry, poor thing, she must of liked the food you gave her.", she chuckled quietly, reaching behind her to pull the hair that was hanging more then half way down her back to pull it into a bun at the back of her head. "I guess we should get going, you need to turn in your ..head.", she frowned as she slowly stood up.
"I got a riddle for you, I wanna see what you make of it. What would happen if the spider had caught the fly? What if the spiders had friends? What if the spiders friends all met there end by the fly, including the spider itself?", she tilted her head watching him before bending back down, picking up her fully packed backpack and jacket. "Think about it and tell me on the way to town, I know a place that you can sell the head to."

Bale kneeled down to his bag and went through it, he found some meat he was planning on prepareing as a meal for himself for reasons of spices he added but didn't mind sharing some of it. He ripped a piece off and held it out to the panther. The meat was spiced with great peppers, ((aka...habenjuro peppers or however spelled)) but it smelled of rose peddles and salt to add flavor to the spice.
He than stood up and listened to her riddle. It felt like hearing his mother speak to him like always on how to live. But in the long run, have to figure it out to move on.
Spider, fly, prey, death, counter, end. That is what the riddles keys are, but it is odd for such a riddle to be asked out of the blue.

Rose smirked slightly as Naito carefully watched him then grabbed the piece of meat out of his hand, growling softly. Naito sat down beside him, starting to nibble on the meat, only to realize how hot it was. She dropped the meat, shaking her large head and staring at it, huffing slightly on it. She looked at Rose and growled slightly then looked back at bale.
Rose's tail flickered about nervously as she watched him obiviously thinking about the riddle. "If you wanna wait to eat, we can when we get to Honoo's place. He keeps his place full of food, never knowing when I'll drop in.", she said to both Naito and Bale. She wasn't sure what was wrong with the meat, but something was on it, that Naito didn't like. She gently nibbled on her bottom lip as she shifted the weight of her pack on both shoulders.
As she tugged her shirt down more, to keep it from rising up and showing off her midriff, she spoke to him quietly, "I'll explain more about it, as we start to walk, and after you tell me your take on it." She was hoping she didn't give to much away to him already, but she wanted to let him know, she wasn't just saying it for no reason.

Bale noticed the panther unable to fully eat the meat and be in semi pain and than thumbed the direction to a lake for the panther. Figured the panther would attempt to grab the meat and run over there and just eat it while drinking water to try dull the heat. Bale than looked back at Rose and nodded packing his things.
"If you wish. Lets go than."

She smirked slightly and laughed, "Get some water my friend, then catch back up to us." She watched Naito run off before turning back to Bale. "It's about a hour to two hour walk. Could...could you tell me more about the village, please? Had you ever been there before?", she tilted her head slightly then took a few steps closer to him. The sun hit her face, making her blue eyes twinkel. Her black ears turned slightly, picking up noises before looking at the sun then turning to the west and heading in that general direction.

Bale walked listening to her and looked back at her. His red and blue eye dark and dead in a way. He than looked back to the road ahead.
"Village never been to, so i know nothing about. I merely had a job there for a second.'
Bale kept a normal pace of walking towards where Rose was taking them.

Rose hmm'ed to herself then started to walk faster, trying to keep up with his pace. About an hour later, she came to a complete stop. "This is far enough for us to walk. The rest of the way, I'll get us there.", she smirked slightly and held out her hand to him. "Do you trust me?", Rose quietly asked him. By now, Naito would be Rosie's legs once again. "I'll need to teleport us both there now, I know the place well enough to get us there safely." Naito picking up on Rose's legs, started to rub against her, gently enough not to knock her over though. She knew Naito was ready, now she had to wait for Bale to take her hand.
After he took her hand, she smiled at him resuringly. She gently squeezed his large hand, then a dark arua started to come over her as she tapped into her powers. She closed her eyes, then a moment later, they were away from the forest and standing in a lobby, still holding hands. "Now we're here, you can deal with your...head, and we can talk about that riddle.", she said to him as her eyes wondered that room, looking for Honoo, who she didn't see at the moment.

*A siren walks down the forest to a large pond. Her golden glittery fins spread out around her like a glorious evening gown. Her golden hair sparkles in the light reflecting off the water. Her golden lips are moist with dew; her eyes are haunting and blank. She walks to the center of the pond and spreads her lips dipping her head back. Golden light glows between her breasts and releasing between her lips lets out a call. Her call rings out elegantly, pulling on all strong male warriors, bending their will to hers. Begging sweetly in their ears, to come to her.*

Renku heard the call and felt it begin to tug on him. With a dismissive growl he kept walking, he had the woman he needed. He tightened his clawed grip on said woman a she weakly began to struggle.
"No reason for that my love, I am not leaving you." He growled teasingly.
Kuro had regained consciousness awhile ago, being half wolf-demon had it's advantages. Her energy was still shot, which was proven, as she weakly tried to claw at her captor's back. She knew she became an annoyance to him when he dug his claws deeper into her thigh. She winced, closing her eyes tightly, knowing that she needed to focus on something to rid herself of this horrible nightmare.
In a moment, she had it. "Irvine. . ." She said hoarsly.

With a sudden pause in conversation Heswina drew reign and halted, "This is a good a spot as any, my dear." She calmly stated as she let her reigns fall slack against the prommel of her saddle. With the air of practiced ease she slid gracefully from the saddle, her silk dress russling softly. "Let me set up tent and change and I'll see about some dinner." She intoned over the back of her horse to the tall black clad figure who had already dismounted his own stalion and was in the process of removing a large green and brown bundle from his saddle. The figure, a man, looked up at Heswina through the perpetual darkness of it's cloak and cowl and stared at her for a moment, "No I'm quite capable of making camp in a dress!" There was another pause as Heswina removed twin bundles, far smaller than the one her companion had drawn, and set them atop fallen leaves and twigs, "Well excuse me for wanting to look nice once in a while! We can't all wear the same thing days on end. Speaking of which, you need a bath!" Giggling softly, the black clad man shaking it's hidden head, Heswina tied and fed her horse, using a soft brissle brush to wipe it down.
With that simple task complete she set about to take the larger bundle from the man, what appeared to be nothing more than a large tarp of green with splotches of darker green, black, brown and gray thrown in so it would disappear into the forest at a casual glance. The process of setting up the tent was slow and tedious as Heswina worked solo in the process ment for atleast four people. Silk skirts whisking softly as she moved, catching leaves and twigs though seemed perfectly intact despite the rugged treatment. After a moment or two of cursing and grumbling Heswina had the tent up. Barely tall enough for the woman to stand completely upright without the top of her head brushing the tent's top the structure was wide enough to accomidate the two sleeping bundles Heswina had thrown off to the side, with barely enough room for their other posessions, assuming they used their saddles as pillows.
Vanishing into the tent produced a russle and bussle of fabrics for a few moments before Heswina's arm went shooting out of the flap of the tent, the fabric held closed against her nude figure, "Hand me my clothes please, I left them in my second saddle pack, on the right side." Again, with the air of practiced ease the black cloaked man slid from his place beside a slightly cleared area of twigs and dried leaves, grabbed the bag and almost heaved it at her in a toss. Catching the bag and startling backwards Heswina cursed a thousand hells on his head as the tent flap was torn shut.
Minutes passed before Heswina emerged again, totally transformed. Clad in snug fitting breeches, a haze of green and brown, with a shirt and coat, also the same sort of green and brown haze that made her blend in with the shadows of the under-forest, Heswina strode across the camp to where the black drawn man was just finishing up clearing a spot for a fire. "There should be a stream nearby, there use to be one that fed the Garden. See if you can find it? I would like some tea if we're to make a fire." Strolling away, short hunting bow in hand and quiver dangling at her waist, Heswina departed into the forest without waiting for so much as an incline in the man's head, though easily enough it probably didn't need to speak or acknowledge Heswina for her to know his words.

Silently Heswina's soft leather boots slipped her through the forest undergrowth, small leaves smashed under foot and twigs that could not be avoided snapped to blend with the natural sounds of a living forest. An arrow, a thin thing with barely an arrow head on it, was knocked with Heswina's fingers ready to draw back and fire at a moment's notice. All of Heswina's arrows were special, in some way or another, some were designed to fly faster and be less damaging, like these were except these had small holes bored into the shaft to funnel out blood for a more deadly strike, or broad shafted arrows ment to withstand the test of plate or mail armor. Her own bow, a monsterously large seven foot longbow, was fitted with a special crystaline silk deprived from a Noxious Spider Queen, a rather unsavory creature with too many minions to count, that let Heswina actually put magical properties on her arrows without expending any of her own energy.
Pausing beside the trunk of a large tree, it may have been cedar...she was never really all that great at things like that, she pressed her back to it and peeked around it's side. A fine doe, neck bent down to eat, with it's small baby were nibbling peacefully on a turf of grass sticking above the mulch of the forest floor. "Aww." Heswina whispered quietly as she saw the little thing, probably just born by the way it stumbled and fell, worble over to it's mother.
A long minute passed as Heswina eased the tension on her bow string and started off in the other direction. There was a stream not to far from here, actually, she could catch a nice fish to eat...yeah, she wanted fish tonight. It didn't take too long to find the stream, the gentle flow of water could be heard far off. This was very likely the stream she had sent her comrade off to fetch water from, there were so many she hardly thought about it anymore. Regardless she knelt down beside the edge of the stream, really nearly a river actually, rolling her sleeves up and laying on her belly beside the shoal. Slowly easing her hands into the water she waited patiently while the fish decided it was safe to return to their hiding places. The water was cold, making her hands turn first a sharp pain then numb, and Heswina's lips began to turn purple before she tickled the first belly with her finger tips. Another moment passed and in one smooth motion she scooped out a fat freshwater fish and hurled it ashore, to flop out it's last flop. Giggling with glee, she almost never got one that big, she considered a moment to go for a second, which she did and produced another fish, albeit smaller. Two fish were enough, she decided, and started making her way back to camp, hooking an index finger under each of the fish's gills to hold.
