Malik watched, and that was all. he offered no support, no help, no remarks. She would have to deal with things on her own, that was the way drow worked.
"On your feet, Llothian. Or I'll just tkae the imps and go back to the fortress and leave you here for whatever comes to finish what the sphinx started."
Yes he knew the look of the animal, and knew what it was. though why she had somehow gotten the attention of one was beyond him. they liked things they could toy with, and drow commonly you couldn't. Pride and arrogance, assertiveness were drow traits, didn't leave much for a sphinx to use.

She chuckled, "No gallant knight? Should have known, there's not a gallant bone in your body." She sighed and used her bloody hands to push herself up, a bit shaky on her feet from loss of blood but she'd be fine in a little while. She shurgged when his eyes moved to the pile of organs, fur, and flesh. "I don't know. She watched me kill a worm and I guess thought I was too cocky. Maybe..." but she didn't finish that sentence. A glance at the imps and a small smile to them. "See I'm okay." Her knees buckled and she slowly made her way over to a tree where she leaned back against it. "How far away from the fortress are we?"

"Far enough that you should have known better than to try a sphinx on your own with just those daggers. And we had our own trouble. a beholder lead an inscetiod troop into the fortress form underground. So I am not in the most pleasent of moods as you might guess."
A smirk at her.
"Gallant bones I may have. but not for other Drow. and you need clerical attention. the bloodloss is going to immobilize you soon enough unless you learned some healing before running away."

"I came out on top didn't I?" She didn't like hearing that, "So I came out here looking for something to massacre and there was plenty to take out back home?!" That wasn't why she'd come out, she'd needed to get away, to contemplate and try to gain some understanding but if Malik believed that she needed to kill or prove herself to him then nothing she said would change his opinion so why try? It would just give her a headache and she didn't want to have to deal with that. She glanced at her wounds and shook her head, "Any healing I did learn would take too much energy to put into play right now. I'd rather walk into the fortress than let you carry me." In reality she'd rather die than show that much weakness. So she shoved off of the tree and began to walk. Did she know where she was? No, she didn't. That's one thing she had never been good at, directions. But she wasn't about to stand around until she fainted so she set off in the direction she thought the fortress was.

I pawed the glob, and watched the event unfold before him. He was not surprised. He never was.
Turning his head to the corner, he chuckled in his vile way. It was down to him, him, and what remainded of the Wrath. Lust would only help them gain so much now, and greed could only get him so far. Gluttony was his biggest aid, but in the end control that hunger was not worth the effort. Hunger always held a high price.
His wrath would come back, it always did.
The sloth of the first battle was gone, but the next shall not be so merciful.

She blinked. Malik? Oh hell, the connection was gone...thus the mental conversation had gotten terminated thanks to her crippled telepathy. Sometimes she wondered what caused it to be that way. With a sigh, she stared at the ceiling again, sifting through thoughts in her head. So many things coming up at once and it seemed she was running to keep up. But then again that was life. With a sigh she rolled over on her side, staring at the far wall that wasn't particularly interesting. Hm...the room was a tad bit brighter than usual? Ah, her eyes...she'd never dispelled them and they only slowy naturally went back to normal. Well that was something to practice now wasn't it? So placing a hand over her eyes she relaxed, whispering the words she hadn't been taught too long ago. Hopefully she wouldn't screw up...Piper liked her sight after all.

((For Miss Stars))
Silently, the shadow stalked across the fields and forests. His purpose was simple, yet he was him and was pron to being distracted by the randomness of the universe. He couldn't let those farmers be ambushed by the goblins, nor could he allow those hunters to bring down the deer.
Then, he spotted something he did not expect, something that was dark skinned and rather haggared looking. He paused, and calculated the prospects. It was a her, so it must be a priestess. All drow women were priestesses.
He simply flanked her by a few hundred feet and then approched her from the front, walking slowly with his cloak pulled relatively tightly about his shoulders, in a very shady drow way. His hood was pulled over enough of his face to keep the impression he was drow, but to leave his gender questionable. He raised his hands when she was in plain view and signaled a greeting in his homelands hand language.

She had no desire to talk to anyone. She was extremely close to passing out, the slash across her side was hurting with every step she took and she looked back to find that neither Malik nor the imps had followed her. Well screw them both. It was Drow...which could be very bad. She had run away from them and now there was a good chance that this one had been sent out to look for her. And her being wounded the way she was, she would be even easier to bring down. Crap. She looked at the other Drow and then started moving very quickly trying to just be a normal Drow. "What?!" she snapped.

"You." Replied the warrior. "How is it a Drow warrior-priestess is in the middle of this forest, wounded, and smelling of foul creature?"
"Do not misunderstand me, Priestess of my Mother, I only wish to know why you are here, answer me that and I will probably leave you be."

She was definitely not in the mood for this. "I'm wounded because I just got out of two battles, not that it's any of your concern." she snapped. She wasn't sure but she had a feeling she was talking to a male. Priestess of his mother...so he thought she was a true Drow. Which she was but he didn't know that she had run away because she was going to be sacrificed. "And who praytell is your Mother?" It would be nice to know, then she could figure out where he was from and what he might know of her.

"Lloth, and Dominia." Replied the drow warrior, who assumed a passive posture for his people, which to any other race might seem to be very threating.
"Why is your voice so empty?"

Lolth? The son of Lolth? She really didn't think so. Why would Lolth allow a male child to live or why would Lolth even have a male child? She wouldn't allow such a disgrace in her hallowed body. At least that's what Zahara had been raised to believe. She narrowed violet eyes at the other Drow and shook her head, "Excuse me?"She had to get out of this conversation fast or she was going to pass out and that wouldn't be a good thing.

Naga laughed her pmpose, boomig laugh, as always. Though this place did not seem like ti would be much fun. The people were starving and week, the king was in a shaky hold. Really, there was not mcuh to do. Kalam and Taltos were left to take care of the ship, the rest left to see what little in the ways off food they cold find. Take take take, that was the way of the pirate. At least these pirates, Naga wasn't sure about others.
The first thing to go where they few lizards left in the stables, the ones that had not ben slaughtered for meat. Next, the meager offereings at the bottoms of grain silo's. Really, this place was pathetic. Of course, it could be half her fault, randomly attacking trade routes and such. Ah hell, it was fun.
Deep Water woukld soon be without any food at all.

"Your voice lacks the luster of our race, you seem disheartened or even dare I say, wayward." What else would she be refering to with her question. Oh, him. "Yes, I am the first born son of Lloth."
"Vel'uss ph' dos lu' vel'bol ph' dos xunin ghil?" The shadow behind Naga asked in a very stiff voice.
