hard cover+cammocloaks + going to the ground = 2+ cover... unless enemy can negate cover they would be very tough to shift from objective. and if their chimera is destroyed they can se its wreck/crater as cover smile

I've been thinking about whether or not to give them that Chimera. I'm actually very tempted now into getting another Valkyrie. sweatdrop

Their Denison smocks will represent their camo cloak upgrade, maybe a bit cheap, but I don't feel like trying my hand at sculpting cloaks.
You could always get some gauze dressing, and some watered down PVA glue, soak the gauze in the glue and then bung it on the back of the model and muck around with it until you're happy with it, then let it dry. Voila, instant Camo cloak. :3

I'm still thinking of getting a Valkyrie and turning it into a dedicated gunship, with rocket pods, Punisher cannons and whatever else I can tack on. A Daisy Cutter might go well alongside it.

That'd be a fun idea. Being able to harrass very well with a dedicated gunship could prove to be useful.

Especially with them neat Elysian buggies you have there.

It remains to be seen if those buggies will be actually usable or not. crying

Right now my Elysian army is something like this:

1x Command squad + Valkyrie
3x veterans squad + Valkyrie
3x sniper teams
1x melta Drop Sentinel
3x heavy bolter Drop Sentinel
2x Vulture
2x Venator
1x Sky Talon
1x Medical Valkyrie
1x drop zone transponder
3x drop zone beacon

GK are actually very hard to play good with extremely costly models - point-wise - and nearly no good antitank options. Of course all those psycanons are going to ruin the day of any demon player, to be sure... and more than few eldar smile

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BLU-82

In a nutshell is it ordnance designed to defoliate drop zones and create clearings for choppers.

It is the quickest way, though I can imagine Marines going out there and doing it by hand with hedge clippers and machetes.
