Lady Blodwynn Ooh, well done! Did it give you a lot of trouble? not really its the exact same size track it just has different track guides. So I pushed the Leman Russ track all the way again the road wheels on the inside and it lined up just fine. I think it looks a little better than the regular track because I was able to form it around the drive sprockets better

so yeah that Skyclaw pack was definitely a good choice. I was feeling some nasty luck from a Whirlwind tucked back into the far corner. They came in popped it with a meltagun then proceeded to wipe out the guys command squad and devastator squad. But the real luck came when he parked a squadron of Land speeders right next to two packs of Grey Hunters and then didn't move them. The Grey hunters proceeded to blow up one with a meltagun then assault and get the remaining 2.
Turn One: Opponent going first he proceeded to destroy my razorback and all but 2 of my long fangs, and stunned Bjorn the Fel-Handed. My Turn I opened up with my Predator and Long Fangs but only managed to kill one Devastator. But I had pushed my Gray Hunters in rhinos forward and claimed 2 objectives
Turn Two: His land speeder squadron landed behind my Grey Hunters and Predator but only manage to take the Storm Bolter off the Rhino. His assault squad land behind Bjorn and makes the mistake of thinking he will be a soft target to wipe out. They lose 2 marines to his mighty claw. My turn I bring in my wolf scouts in support of Bjorn (bad rolling on my part but I still made them useful) My Predator begins to actually do something and takes the Multi-melta from his Dred. The Wolf Scouts assault the marines offending the mighty Bjorn and wipe them out.
Turn Three: His Land Speeders manage to wreck one Rhino while he again keep Bjorn stunned. My Grey Hunter angry at the loss of their Rhino get out and make short work of the offending Speeders.
Turn Four: His Terminator squad arrives and mistaken assaults my Grey Hunter pack the are cut down two 1 man before most can even hit. The Surviving one manages to kill 2 but he breaks at the end of combat and his gunned down later with a melta gun. My Skyclaws with a Wolf Guard Battle Leader arrive and proceed to Destroy his whirlwind and then assault his command squad killing all but the chapter master. My Wolf Scout then assault his regular scouts and kill all but 3.
Turn Five: His sniper take down a number of Grey Hunters but the later get back in their rhino and just park on the Objective. His squad his his librarian assault my Wolf Scout and bring their number down to 5. Bjorn can finally do something now and he is angry from being unable to help his brethren his assault cannon reaps 3 of the snipers. The Skyclaws remove the Devastator squad and set the eyes on rescuing the Wolf Scouts. game ended after turn 5. Due to the sudden loss of his command squad he no longer held any objectives while my Grey Hunter Packs each held one. My total losses were 11 Grey Hunters 2 Sky Claws 4 Long fangs 1 Razorback 1 Rhino and 2 Land Speeder.
While all he had left was 2 Tactical Marines 1 Librarian 4 Scouts and one weaponless immobilized Dreadnought.

The vehicles certainly have gotten a bit darker, they've also been very liberal in the use of Forge World etched brass to make the vehicles look more personalized and savage. Those runic plates are tempting additions to a vehicle or Dreadnought. Not that fond of the bits that say "Space Wolves" though. On the bright side I've heard that the FW brass is one of the few things they do a 100% right! sweatdrop

Another Victory for the Space Wolves this time against the foul Xeno Eldar
Turn One: Deploying my Grey Hunters in there Rhino I pushed them to the far left and far right objectives taking them both. My Predator begun firing on the frail guardians killing one. His guardians remained stationary holding his left objective.
Turn Two: Moving my Blood Claw pack into cover they secured the center objective. The Skyclaws and wolf scouts remained in reserve. Two Falcons arrived one with Dire Avengers the other with Banshees. The Banshees moved and disembarked within firing range of my Long Fangs. A unit of Striking Scorpions arrive near my left Grey Hunter Pack.
Turn Three: The Sky Claws arrive and move to assault the Scorpions but not before the Grey Hunter disembark their rhino and rapid fire into them. While the long fang and their razor decimate the Banshees. The Skyclaws assault the weakened scorpion and slay them. Losing only 1 of their number. His Dire Avengers despite their best efforts at shooting only kill 2 Skyclaws. Enemy war walkers arrive but can accomplish nothing against the might of the Imperium.
Turn Four: The Wolf Scout sensing a greater purpose remain in reserve. While the Sky Claws squad moves forward to assault the dire Avengers. The Dismounted Grey Hunter pack return to their vehicle. The Predator moves forward and engages the nearest War Walker squadron and destroys both. The second War Walker group fires on the left Grey Hunter pack in the rhino and wrecks their transport. A guardian squad join their Dire Avengers in close combat with the Skyclaws who against the odds hold their own still winning combat. A falcon rams the predator but only manages to immobilize itself.
Turn Fire: The Wolf Scout arrive to begin the attack against his Fire Dragons. Bjorn fire his assault cannon against the second group of War Walker the foul Xenos machine explodes killing 4 Skyclaws but 6 of Xenos. The Wolf Scouts assault the fire dragon and the Grey Hunters assault the nearby falcon. Having denied the enemy all shooting by putting all nearby units into close combat the Xenos continued to lose ground to the savagely fighting Skyclaws whilst the Wolf Scout pack destroyed the Fire Dragons and prepare to assault the read of the Dire Avengers should the game continue.
Game ended not going to turn 6 with the Eldar holding 1 Objective and the Wolves holding 2
I held ground with the majority of my unit for the majority of the game forcing the Eldar to advance in the open to get at my unit the were well hidden while Bjorn and another Dred held the middle of the table uncontested. It would have gone even better for me had my Wolf Scout arrived sooner the the timing of the Skyclaws could nt have been better

Apparently a version of the codex was leaked. If the mod's here dislike this, feel free to remove the quote, am just passing on the most extreme 'what the hell' bit. Quote: STORM HARBINGER Type BS-F-S-R Storm Harbinger Fast, Skimmer 4-13-11-10 Transport The Storm Harbinger has a transport capacity of sixten models. Models in Terminator armour, models wearing jump packs and Assault Servitors count as two. It can transport a single Dreadnought. It can carry five Bikes. Attack bikes count as two Bikes. Fire Points: None. Access Points: A Storm Harbinger has one access point at the front. SPECIAL RULES Deep Strike Jump Pack Insertion: Assault Squads don't wait for the Storm Harbinger to land in order to disembark. Instead they use their jumps packs to disembark during low-altitude flight and ride on a stream of fire and smoke to crush the enemy in one fierce sweep from above. Jump infantry disembarking from a Storm Harbinger can launch an assault on the turn they do so, even if the Storm Harbinger has performed a deep strike. WARGEAR Tantalus Assault Cannon System: The Tantalus System consists of no less than four assault cannons. Instead of standard rounds it uses fragmentation rounds that force enemies in cover. Thus they are vulnerable to the assault of the Storm Harbinger's passengers. It counts as a single weapon with the following profile: Range 18" Strength 6 AP 4 Type Heavy 8, Rending, Pinning, Twin-linkedAll for 140 points. What. The. s**t.
