The brothers started arguing over their beliefs. The oldest sought truth and the younger sought ideals. Their arguments split their dragon and a great battle unraveled over the land. The war finally ended when it came to a standstill. The halves of the dragon that the brothers had had sided with could not defeat the other. The brothers declared that there was no right side. The battle was continued on by their decendants, causing the battle to begin again, destroying the land with fire and lightning before they disappeared.

One of Caleb's most well remembered bedtime stories. Mainly because it was one of the stories he had asked his grandpa to tell often. Caleb struggled in and out of consciousness, hearing the fragment of the story being recited in his head. Getting some feeling back, he sat up and sighed. That fight could've gone a lot better.

He had heard Maddy loud and clear when she told them to pack their bags and announced that they would be following that ship. It wasn't the paralysis that made him feel numb. It was her words. They'd be heading to another region. They were leaving Kalos. Caleb wasn't quite sure if he wanted to leave Kalos as well. Once the paralysis had worn off, Caleb had left and went back to Ambrette Town.

He returned the next day, still a bit unsure of making the trip. He hadn't even began packing yet, wondering if he should even bother.

"(I think you made the right call.)" Misery smiles and places a hand on Maddy's. "(You're our leader and I trust your judgement the most.)"

"It's a shame that Xerneas wasn't with us anymore" Rose sighed as she joined the others "As a fairy type, Xerneas would have been at an advantage versus a dragon. I wonder where Xerneas is. Though we probably don't have time to look."

Maddy smoked her cigarette quietly, listening to them all talk.
"It is possible Xerneas went back to sleep. Or at least Yveltal did."
She let out a sigh.
"I don't really have a way of getting back in contact with him, unless we try going back to his tree again."
She finished up her smoke, deciding it was her last for now. She got to her feet.
"Any word on how Coumarine is doing, today?"

Michael looked at Maddy and then decided to say. "Maddy what's the plan to deal with this Team Plasma? In my own opinion we need to stop them, and i say they have gone to far. Attackin' my teammates is way over the line." While he waited he finished his smoke andplaced his cigarette into the ashtray that Maddy had been using.

"(I say don't bother with it. Xerneas is back to sleep and resides in this region.)" She shrugs. "(When we have to chase them back to their region Xerneas would have to stay behind anyway.)"
She looks at the rest of the group.
"(Maybe we could win without help this time.)" She then hears Caleb.
"(Yeah I think scoping out Coumarine is a good idea. We can see what they're capable of and help out anyone currently in trouble. It's unlikely the boss and that hostage kid are still around.)"

"If he's still around...I'll rip him a new one..." Caleb said quietly. He stood up and stretched. He was still wondering if he should leave the team or not. It'd probably be best to wait and see Coumarine before making his decision.

Michael followed after Misery and as they walked he thought about what was gonna happen next.
