((I did not even notice a delay!
...
I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. ._. ))

"Hitomi?" Hotstreak felt like he was forcing himself to sit up, as he looked down the hall he had come from. "I can do it," he insisted, stubborn as usual. He got to his feet, and began leaning against the wall for support, more out of want than need. He was even moving at a casual pace. "Babe, what you doin'? You know I'm alright, why didn't you just take care of yourself first?" Like she could really hear him that far down.

...Was she agreeing with his advice, or that he would have just been in the way and gotten hurt? No, Faya didn't make sneaky insults like that. Then again, there was that witch ghost's influence... Best just to assume she was agreeing with his advice, especially since she complimented him right after. "Well, in my line of work, you either learn fast... or die fast."

During the time of the battle, Hitomi had been making her way, shuffling against the wall, towards the kitchen. Although she was still a ways away, she could still hear her boyfriend's bellowing. "Because I was worred about you!" She exclaimed before she lowered her voice once more, since it took such a strain on her. "And I love you okay?! I wasn't just gonna leave you alone like that, not now, and not ever!" She exclaimed, actually proving her commitment only to him, and not just their business.

"Yes, yes. That's still very true Master." Faya replied with a nod and a giggle, like before.

Hotstreak could only smile. "Love you, too! That's why I had to go run off and kick that thing's a** so quick." If it even had an a**. Whatever, he still wooped it.

"All zhis shouting is getting irritating," Spy decided. "Shall we assist zhem?" He paused a moment, looking one way down the hall at Hotstreak, then the other at Hitomi. "Or shall we make bets on 'oo passes us first?"

"And that is why I didn't keep any of the Spies to stay here in the building! They're all such jackasses..."

He'd heard about the BLU Spy they had captured up on the floating city... Were there more? Or was he using plural just because?

Hitomi just smiled sweetly as she heard his quick response. She would be lying if she denied blushing at his statement. Her eyes then shifted from Hotstreak to Spy and Faya. "I can just teleport there. I think I have enough juice to do it..." She muttered before she touched a hand to her pendant, which glowed violet, before she disappeared in a flash of light. Almost immediately after, she appeared beside Hotstreak, holding onto the wall for support. Yeah, that last effort took all she had. It was just shee will-power that was keeping her up now.

"Then help her Master, since you're such a charmer and you have a semi-soft spot for a woman in distress." Faya replied with a playful wink, giggling uncontrollably. She then looked over to Hitomi and Hotstreak and sighed. "Do you need any help, Hotstreak-kun?"

((Watching a very sleepy hamster try to get rid of an annoying itch so he can go back to sleep is far more adorable than it has any right to be.))

"You know me well," Spy replied, with a grin. Not really, though. Just this one side of him; this one mask. Once in a while he would wonder if there was anything left to him that wasn't a mask, but that wasn't the sort of thought to dwell on at the moment.

"No, no help, we're good," Hotstreak said, hugging onto Hitomi and dragging the both of them to the ground, to sit against the wall. "I'm fine with us just resting here a moment. Y'know, 'til we get our strength back."

"...Here? Really?" Spy asked, amused. "In the 'allway were you've just sent zhis whole group to find a bedroom? Soaking wet, battered and bruised, looking very unprofessional?"

"Um... s**t, you do have a point there." Damn it. He was really starting to hate Spies.

With a laugh, Spy made his way over, offering his hand to, of course, the lovely lady. "Allow me." If they've dealt with Spies before, he wouldn't actually be able to woo her, but it was still fun to charm with no intent for more, now and again.

((Dragon. What the hell are we still doing up?))
PostPosted: Sun May 02, 2010 6:58 am

((IDK, but I got my strength from this the entire time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzw6GiqZyD0 ))

Feeling exasperated at the moment, Hitomi didn't find any voice to rebut Hotstreak's actions of pulling her down to sit next to him. By him tugging on her arm, he actually strained the muscle that was already wounded, which hurt like hell. But over the years, she had developed something of a poker face around clients, so she just used that, covering it with a smile. At Spy's suggestion, she nodded. She'd rather not be discovered in this situation by the group, since she was wearing wet jeans now. And she hated wearing wet jeans. They were uncomfortable as all hell. "Oh, thank you!" Hitomi said suddenly, finally realizing Spy's offer to help her up. With a second-glance to her boyfriend, coupled with a reassuring smile, she took his hand and allowed him to help her up. But once she was on her feet, she was relieved to see that Faya was there to help support her, since she was so weak and in such pain at the moment.

"Where does it hurt Hitomi-chan?" Faya asked the elder woman, clearly concerned.

"Just my neck and the right side of my body. But I'll live, I've endured a lot worse."

"You sure?"

"Yes, I'll be fine Faya. Don't worry 'bout it."

((I laughed at the fact that it's 7:11 long. 7/11 man! That should not be as funny as it is.))

"My dear, do not be so quick to turn down help!" Spy chastised, taking her by the arm so Hitomi could lean on him as much or as little as she liked. Now, wasn't this funny? Just the night before, he had led Arthur back to his room, by the arm, just like this. It would be foolish to think the night would end up the same way, unfortunately. "After all, that's what this little group is all about, is it not? Rescuing small children from evil men who would bring them harm, giving them food and shelter, preventing the stupid from murdering one another..." He was certainly making more of an effort to pronounce things correctly, with less of his accent.

"Hey! Hey!" Hotstreak shouted, seeing Spy walk down the hall with Hitomi, without so much as a second glance to him. Yep, he was really starting to hate Spies. Good for that idiot he trusted Hitmomi so much. With a sigh, he used the wall behind him to get back up to his feet, trailing after Hitomi, Faya, and that a*****e Spy. He wold have complained more, but he didn't want to sound like some snotty little kid.
PostPosted: Sun May 02, 2010 7:36 am

((Oh yeah, don't worry. I was amazed too, but it kept my attention! lol.))

"W-Well..." Hitomi began before she was forcefully grabbed by Spy before he led her down the hall. If that wasn't bad enough, him making her leave her boyfriend, he also grabbed her right arm, which was on the side of the body that she just said hurt the most. At Hotstreak's protest, she glanced back at him, a pained expression on her features before her attention was direct back to Spy. "Well, the CQC and the floating city does all that. We just provide resources and such." She told him, for verification. "Besides, I thought you knew all this because of your invisibilty during the original meeting..." She told him with a devious smirk.

Nope, Faya was having none of this crap. Nuh uh, not her.

"CQC? I do not believe I've that particular acronym yet," Spy replied, keeping his pleasant, polite attitude despite the fact it irritated him not knowing what it was. "Would you care to tell me?"

It no longer mattered to Hotstreak that they were supposed to be playing nice with the group (his idea to, even). If he got one more indication from Hitomi that she did not want Spy near her, that French jerk was getting a knuckle sandwich.

((Look ma, no swears! lol))

((Good job! You get a gold star! *hands you one* ^_^))

"It means the Colation of Quasar's Chosen, or something like that. But it's basically the group that you and the rest of your group has been supporting through your base in the floating city." Hitomi explained simply. She saw their room coming into sight and with this, she breathed a sigh of releif. She just wanted to get out of thie awkward situation and move on. "So yeah, now you know."

Faya landed beside Hotstreak, leaning in slightly. "You should really calm down Hotstreak-kun." She whispered to him softly.

((Sorry about the delay. Laptop decided to be retarded for a few minutes.))

"Quasar's Chosen... Sounds like something they should be calling my group, doesn't it?" Spy replied, as a joke. "Which begs the question why we don't have a name... But, one can't have everything." Once they arrived at the door, he declared, "And now our tiny expedition has come to a close. I hope I am leaving you in capable hands..."

"What? It's not like I'm gonna actually kill him," Hotstreak replied, defensively. It didn't take too long, maybe half a minute, for him to catch up with the other two. He held out an arm to Hitomi, and weather she just take that or sling an arm over his shoulder, or whatever she wanted, was up to her.
PostPosted: Sun May 02, 2010 8:52 am

((Haha, no problem. Happens to me all the time.))

"To be honest, you probably would have. What happened to you anyways, Hotstreak-kun? Too many nights sleeping on the couch finally calm your hot temper?" Faya mocked sheepishly. He should know that she was only kidding and not to be offended by her statments. But knowing him, he was unpredictable.

"Well, I don't know. I'm not a part of that group anymore. Take it up with Emmett if it's really a problem to you." Hitomi told him before she looked up at the door, sighing in relief as she did so. She then tugged her arm, once, twice, three times to break the grip Spy had upon it. Damn, was she sort. Touching the darkening bruises on her neck, she sighed, looking over to Hotstreak, who had just arrived to her side not a moment after. Glancing down at his offered arm, she bypassed it completely to wrap her arms around his midsection, hugging him tightly, as if he were the only way that she would be able to stand. And at that moment, yes, he basically was.

((It's noon. Why do I do this to myself? lol))

"I said I wouldn'ta killed him, not hurt him," Hotstreak corrected with a smirk. "And who knows? Maybe I just finally grew up a bit." He knew he'd be getting lines like that, which was pretty much the only reason he didn't blow up about it. When Hitomi hugged him, he smiled, then carefully picked her up (being mindful of her side), before opening the door and walking in, making sure to close and lock it behind them. "Y'know, now it's almost a good thing that energy guy attacked in the kitchen... It's gonna take a while to clean that mess up and get the food cooking again. More time for us to relax."

"Adieu!" Spy called. Once the door close, he turned and began walking back down the hall, demeanor instantly changing from pleasant to annoyed. "Well, this trip 'as certainly turned out to be enlightening... How come no one tells us these things!?" All this lack of information the gods were sharing was getting old. Hell, why hadn't any of the residents so much as mention this CQC group? Wait, Faya was a resident. "Do you know anyzhing about zhis CQC?"
PostPosted: Sun May 02, 2010 9:23 am

((Cause you love this roleplay too much? lol XD))

"Yes, I do actually! I'm a member~!" Faya exclaimed to him after the couple had entered their chambers. "My sister and I are both members, mother instituted it so that if anything happened to them, then we'd be safe! Luckily that's not going to happen for a long, long time..." Oh, that's right, Xuxa wiped her memory so she has no recollection of her parents' deaths. How tragically sad.

"Oh yeah, that is very beneficial to us then." Hitomi replied with a light smirk. After giving a quick kiss to his cheek, the young psychic wrestled her way out of his arms, so that she could walk herself to her closet. She was filthy in her mind. While walking, she slowly took off the tank top she was wearing, revealing her bra. But she didn't think much of it because hell, they've been together how long now? Exactly. So right there, she began to change into more suitable clothes, like a more proper dress that a lady of the house would wear. A red, floor-length one for that matter, which was also strapless might I add.

((lol))

What!? She... What!? HOW IN THE HELL WAS THIS THE FIRST TIME HE'S HEARD ABOUT THIS!? Damn it, was he starting to slip...? It didn't help she talked as if her parents were still alive, when he'd been the one to try and comfort her when she first learned what happened. God damn this entire, screwed up world. "What, exactly, do they do?" Spy asked, voice even and expression blank.

Hotstreak didn't feel much like changing, at the moment. He didn't much feel like standing around in wet clothes, either. So, he simply stripped, before lying down in the bed, wanting to relax a bit before dinner. "By the way, in case you were more focused on me than the monster, it's not dead. Just locked up. It can't get through glass." She should know, especially if she decides to check on the progress in the kitchen. It was still in there, after all.
