You're the antagonist. Probably since your avatar symbolizes beauty in darkness, you'd be the type to trick the protagonist into committing a con then stabbing them in the back with some type of hidden plot. Of course, you have the odds of that or just simply becoming a hero due to hating your life as an antagonist and then become a shifting character, meaning you have a change of heart. It would add depth to your tale.
I'd say antagonist for now so... Villain.

No villain in their right mind would ever have a sword with a golden heart-shaped hilt...unless they took it from a hero to taunt them. Nor would a victim wield a wicked-looking sword.
I would assume a hero. Since your avatar suggests saving the world in classical epic fashion.
