* rocks out *
I am in control of the galaxy.
Not a ragtag Rebel Alliance.
My grasp will extend to all the stars.
I AM EMPIRE!
* Imperial March, heavy metal style, in a way that's actually good *

Oh kriff. I can't fight tonight. That di'kut mother of mine is forcing me to go to bed. I can't wait till I live in my own apartment in college...
Speaking of her, listen to this. My rents mock me because I'm a 'Starwars fanboy and I need to live in reality' and that bullshit. Thats not the good part. ABout... a year ago, maybe a year and a half I was assigned two freelance writing papers. One, I wrote a pretty neat narrative of a 501st soldiers memoirs. Two, I wrote a 6-8 page paper (cant remember) about Mandalorians. Culture, homeworld, language, warmaking, family values, and most importantly, what it is to be one and how I live by the same code a Mando'ad would. The honor and determination. My mother read this paper and mocks me to this day. "If you're a... mandaleedaloo, then I must be one too!"
If I didn't reserve this word for the worst cases, I would call her something along the lines of dar'buir. But she's not there yet. And shes not a father. haha. Oh well

Theres a difference between Star Wars and Reality. All real fans know this. However, humanity has always been wrapped up in their myths. Alexander the Great slept with Homer's Odyssey under his pillow and believed himself another Achilles. Dont worry about it Man.

Personally, I believe Star Trek's utopian Federation society is what " could have been " with the real world - Everyone doing things because they want everyone to thrive, no greed or the like, etc.
I am fully aware of the differences between fantasy and reality. I just happen to also have a wild imagination which spurs creativity. If such a think couldn't be possible, DnD wouldn't exist, among other things.
I hate it when 3rd parties tell YOU that you need to get back to reality, etc. Annoying as Hell.
