... *looks at the time*
Waiting for an answer only makes me angrier...
I'm going to take Darsh and wail on some NPCs somewhere.
Edit: I hope nobody plans on using Lunea Village in the near future.

Honey, Darsh is angry... he never speaks to me like that sweatdrop , and he wasn't really even talking to me, just voicing how angy he was and warning me off... so unless you want another artificial leg, or you have someone really nasty in the closet waiting to come out and play... you might want to think about simply hiring Dawn from RI to rebuild Lunea for you afterwards xp

I don't mind if Darsh is angry, I just want him to stay out of Lunea, there's a purpose for that place, and it's not for him to just go along and destroy. Go destroy Barton, everyone else has.

That's the only innocent village around though! And I've already been through Barton. xp

*Looks for someplace else nobody ever posts in that has people to burninate.*
It seemed like just like any other beautiful day. Sun shining, people going about on their daily chores, greeting one another as they passed neighbors. Everyone knew everyone here. That's how villages worked. And when it came time to defend their homes, they all banded together without hesitation.
This day would be different.
This day would test their resolve.
As an ominous shadow passed over the town, many people curiously looked up. Then the screams began.
"DRAGON! DRAGON!"
Indeed, it was a dragon, and even from thousands of feet in the air, it appeared to be a large one. A trick of the light, the elders would say, but they would take back their words when that dragon suddenly swooped down. It was a lot bigger than anyone thought it'd be.
The dragon was colossal in size, with blood red scales which darkened upon its frilled back, wings so wide that it blotted out the sun, casting the village in shade. Horns crested its head and jaws, with a pair of longer ones sweeping back from its head. Its eyes were pits of black, with a pinprick of crimson light glowering from deep within. It made a swift pass over the village, the wind in its wake toppling over vending stands and knocking some people off their feet. Its deafening roar split and shattered windows, and caused those unable to resist to panic with unrelenting fear. Even those who had experience battling creatures as powerful as, if not other dragons, would find fear tugging at their hearts and minds, as if an unnatural force were compelling them to run, scream, and panic. This was only the beginning, as the dragon came around for another pass, its tail whipping the top of the clock tower, sending brick and mortar raining down below. The dragon opened its fanged mouth and unleashed a gout of flame, scorching a blazing trail through the middle of the village, setting nearby buildings aflame.
The dragon climbed into the air, circling around again to hover over the village and bellow another roar, fanning the flame with its wings. This roar came with words of arcane power; words to a spell spoken in the ancient tongue of dragons, invoking a summon to the Plane of Fire. Pillars of flame burst from the ground throughout the village, from which sprung hordes of fiery, imp-like creatures, cackling with high-pitched laughter as their ran around and terrorized villagers trying to flee the inferno; smashing through windows and doors to gain entry into nearby buildings.
The dragon swept down to the path leading to the harbor, where some villagers were fleeing to get to their boats, or on a boat, landing heavily and blocking their escape. Its head craned upwards, mouth opening and throat aglow with flames, unleashing a wide cone of flames that engulfed everything before the dragon up to the village's exit point. Sweeping its head around, the dragon set its sights upon the harbor - its next target. Lifting off again with a great pump of its wings, the dragon swept around and converged upon the harbor, which would soon enough share the fiery fate of the village. Vessels were torched or simply ripped to pieces, sent to their watery graves.
The dragon rose through the air once more, gliding through the plumes of black smoke that rose from their respective fires. It would make a final pass, inspecting its handiwork, and then simply fly off elsewhere. There was no plundering, or the kidnapping of any virgin maidens. Just death and destruction.

MagnusXL *goes to sketch things since no one's around to play Melty Blood with* EDIT: Try Valus? Nah. Too big. I'd have to break out more magic, and that'd be overdoing it. On a good note, writing up that wasted post seems to have calmed me a little, so you're all safe now. biggrin
