Kaimen sat on the roof, writing the few last notes in his journal.
"I've finally figured it out!"
Closing the book with a cleched fist he stood on the roof brimming with pride before flipping off the moon and sitting back down.

"Don't tell me it's raining again." Nyl frowned, looking up at the ceiling. "And I have no business flying off into it. Kark."
The frown shifted to a smile as she looked back at Reeve. "No thanks. I haven't felt like tea in a while."

-=Neko hears voices in the kitchen, and glances into it from the main room, smiling as he saw Nyl up and about. He leisurely made his way out the doors, and onto the porch, carelessly watching the rain fall in sheets, slamming against the ground as thunder rolled in from miles away=-

Seph turned his head, catching sight of Neko as he stepped out onto the porch. Seph was leaned against the railing, watching the rain fall.
"Beautiful night, eh?"

"Oh, I do." Nyl's smile became a smirk. "But in all honestly, it was starting to feel like I had become entirely too predictable."
And three months of nothing to drink but tea does strange things to your perception of it.

-=Neko didn't take his eyes off of the sky until he reached the rail, next to Seph. He looked down for a moment, and then over at Seph=-
Thanks for taking care of Nyl. Ijutsu is becoming a bit more complicated for me lately, I guess.

Seph watched a bolt of lightning arc through the sky. He looked down at the ground and sighed. "You know it doesn't deserve any thanks. It's.. my job, nothing more. Besides, it was barely 'satisfactory.'" Seph grinned very lightly.

Kaimen, however, still on the roof, was drenched, and so was his notebook. As he opened it he saw the many pages of years of work drip into a black, silky liquid, and run down his skin, then onto the roof and down into the earth.
"Hmm...Well it's about time..."
tossing the notebook elsewhere not caring about anything else legible he watched the storm he had been caught in, enjoying the splash of liquid before erected over himself a stone umbrella.

I know it doesn't need thanks, but I just feel I owe you one for it... If for no other reason than saving me from Nyl's scorn...

Nyl was standing in the front doorway, one hand on her hip and the other at her side. She regarded Seph and Neko with a slow smile.

I would've been, trust me... My Ijutsu is crap, actually. Hell, I almost wasted so much energy just checking up on her that she would've reached her max for a while, which is why I didn't take care of the bones... I don't know what it is, but my Chakra has just been so hard to control lately.

I could see her now, laying into me so bad I'd become a mute...
-=A look of pure horror crawled onto Neko's face as he didn't dare turn his head to see Nyl standing behind him. There were many things this man would face, but an irritated Nyl was one he planned to confront near the end of his walk on Earth=-
