I thought I felt something...odd.
"You absolutely reek of that, you know. And at the moment, ijutsu makes the most annoying buzz in the back of my head."

Seph looked up, eyes wide. He lifted an arm and sniffed. "Reek..? I bathed before I came back.." Then his eyes fell on his finger. "Oh. Heh, I do it so much, it happens almost on it's own." He shook his hand, waving the contrail away.
"What do you mean, 'reek', anyways?"

"...The closest I've ever come to being able to explain this is using smell." Nyl shrugged. "It's knowing the presence of ijutsu, or its recent use...but I don't see it or sense it in any of the usual ways."

Seph smiled. "I've been thinking, ever since I learned the darker side of Ijutsu.. There's a good way to use it, and a bad way, so there should be an 'in-between.' Kind of like in Role Playing Games, there's Black Magic and White Magic, and then they have Green Magic, like 'Poison' and 'Confuse.'"
He looked at his hand. "I'm trying to develop the 'Green Magic' of Ijutsu." He looked back up to her, trying to gauge if his explanation made any sense.

Nyl stopped. She didn't turn around to face him.
"...It's not a game, you know."

Clearly, his explanation was not up to par. Seph was taken aback, almost disgusted.
"...Of all people, you choose me to remind that my life, and other's around me, is not a game? It was an analogy."

"Don't get angry with me." Nyl hadn't sounded this serious in a long time. "Ijutsu isn't exactly suited for creativity."

He nodded softly, regretting that he even tried to explain before he was finished. "You're right.. The last time I got creative, I got hurt. Using a gaming analogy was a bad idea.." He sighed, knowing going any deeper into an explanation would just create a fiercer backlash. "Can I request an opportunity to finish this technique and show you what it does before I have to trash it completely..?"

Nyl still hadn't turned around.
"Did I say anything about you trashing it?"

"No.. you didn't." He looked down, then leaned against the couch, hopping into a sit on the back. "What are you suggesting, then?"

"I'm suggesting..." She turned just slightly to look over her shoulder at him. She might have been grinning. "...that you get a move on before I get too bored."

His eyebrows raised. "It'll be done by tomorrow." He smiled softly, "So it's a spar?"

"I believe it is a spar."
Nyl turned and headed out the door. If they were really sparring, she had things to do.
((Tired. Done with Gaia for the night.))

Reeve shakes his head on the porch, dashing rainwater from his hair and eyes before walking into the kitchen. Feeling cold, he sets about the makings of tea.

Nyl leaned against the doorframe, arms folded, silently watching Reeve make tea.
"Careful. Teamons might be about."
