Seaphron, there is no use arguing with the Ridley fan boy.... (the other one at least) untill there is de confirmation or confirmation of any character people will still whine about it (Geno, Ridley and Sonic are the main people in that category, but Sonic is done with)

I think there are more or less two things that gets a character in Brawl; 1) Recurrence* and 2) Popularity. Being reocurring gives a character a chance to get in Brawl and popularity/demand secures it. Ridley has both. P: Geno has popularity but not recurrence, and Tingle has recurrence but not popularity so it's more difficult for them to get in.
*exception: Main characters of single time games don't count because they're still main characters.

Reyairia Seaphron Reyairia Seaphron Point taken. I still don't see him as being playable. Ironically I just turned Melee on, and saw that. I still don't see it though. Don't get me wrong I would definitely love to see it cause it would be really different, but that is more or less my main reason for seeing it not happening. I know a lot of people who "couldn't see Sonic in Brawl." It's not really a valid arguement.
Besides, this is a game where Pikachu and Solid Snake can team up. It's not really supposed to make sense to the mind's eye.
Yeah, but Sonic at least makes sense compared to Ridley. I will shut up about this if you can give me four viable B attacks for Ridley and then a Final Smash. Now that Sonic is a lock the mass whining has Shifted to Ridley looking over Smash boards and such, and I dont see him as playable so anyone who disagrees with me can have there own opinions
people have to be realistic, I know that Dixie is out, sure she has a trophy(lot of people call that a sign of her inclusion but I dont buy it)I know that my favourite character is out and I dont draw attention to myself by crying about it, what happened to the quiet support?
Also, Pit just basically confirmed that the Entrances are back now as well
Lucas appears to not be a Ness Clone
Multiple Taunts and entrances are now a possibility

Who knows Sauvie? Who knows? Everyone now a days just get angry when things don't go there way. (I cant even get Smashboards to work right now XD)
-I got excited upon seeing the entrances in that one video. I was like hoshit they are back! XD
-As well as with Lucas, my Ness fanboyness (yeah I made a word) started back up.
-Out of all the taunts shown I really like Ikes the most.

-sigh- We're talking about Sakurai here, he was able to give awesome movesets to characters like the Ice Climbers andGame&Watch completely by himself for Nintendo's sake. He can easily do it with Ridley. =/
You only need to google "Ridley+moveset" on google and you'll get your moveset.
@Sauvie: I'm a scientist and analyzer. I look at the facts: Ridley is popuar and recurring and important to the series. I look at the Brawl side characters which are confirmed: Characters that are popular and recurring and important to the series. I think it's likely.

Problem with online play, there's cheap b****** who to them, reputation is everything. I hate them, the quitters. You know. Anyone who's been on MK biggrin S knows what I mean. And the one's who use glitches and cheats to win. God f*** them too. But heck, knowing that Sonic is included lightened up my day. Now, all we need is Toad and Daisy and my life is complete.

I am done with arguing about this for now, Ridley in or out, I say out you say in, were both entitled to opinions and we will be untill his role is known. I could take cheapshots and and say my opinion is right and you are wrong but I wont and cant, Sure Ridley is an awesome character, easily the best Metroid character that isnt Samus Aran, but that means nothing for his chances, his chances are all up to the developers, making a moveset, FS,stage, and whatever else is yet to be seen, I hope that I am wrong about Ridley but I still dont buy that he is in, so sue me =/ Seaphron - I win so were at what tied at 1247? Moreso on Roys Taunt, but yeah it is possible it is a Taunt Sonic Spring recovery is cool(leaves open the Tails for brawl movement now that I think about it)

Toad isnt in the game, he is still Peach's B attack, and I am sure Daisy will be an alt attire for Peach as well, like Melee, there are far too many Mario reps, Jr. right now is the only room of entry I can see To be honest

I really didn't want Sonic in Brawl but . . . yeah . . .HE'S AWESOME!!! I just wish the dude from Sonic Adventure would voice him and not the the one from Sonic X.
